The reason I like being called at drawing stage is unglamorous: a power point costs nothing before the plaster goes on and is a genuine nuisance afterwards. Two discreet high-level points in each room that will actually be scented, and the whole thing disappears into the house instead of sitting on a console table with a cable running down the wall.
The mistake I see most in large Jaipur homes is treating height as if it were not there. A double-height living room holds roughly twice the air of the same floor plan at normal ceiling height, so it is a bigger room in every sense that matters here, and the answer is to size for the volume rather than to turn a smaller machine up. And a courtyard house simply does not hold a scent in the courtyard, whatever anyone tells you.
