Three houses, three recommendations, and one machine running through all of them. That is not a sales convenience; it is what the arithmetic says, because the thing that grows from a 3BHK to a 5BHK is the number of closed doors and not the size of the air your house shares. Find your line below, take the total, and if your house is one of the genuine exceptions we have named those too.
Quick answers — read this first
Which SOSA system is best for a 3BHK villa? One SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999 on the connected living volume plus a reed diffuser from Rs 749 in each of the three bedrooms - Rs 14,246 for the house. The connected run in a 3BHK is typically 900 to 1,100 sq ft, about 255 to 312 cubic metres at a 10 ft ceiling, comfortably inside the Vaayu's approximately 1000 cubic metres, and the machine includes four hotel-inspired waterless blends. The exception worth naming: if your 3BHK's living room is one bounded room rather than an open entrance-living-dining run, a Megh 6L at Rs 3,499 with the water-based Hotel Collection from Rs 299 is genuinely enough.
Which SOSA system is best for a 4BHK villa? The same machine with more doors: one Vaayu at Rs 11,999 on a connected run of typically 1,200 to 1,500 sq ft, about 340 to 425 cubic metres, plus reeds from Rs 749. Four bedrooms is Rs 2,996, so the house is Rs 14,995; eight rooms including bathrooms and a study is Rs 5,992, so Rs 17,991 complete. A second machine at Rs 23,998 total is justified only by a genuine second volume - a first-floor family lounge behind a door, an L-shaped limb the air cannot turn into, or an annexe with its own entrance.
Which SOSA system is best for a 5BHK villa? One Vaayu at Rs 11,999 placed low near the stair base, with the stair void carrying the register up to the landing, plus a reed from Rs 749 in each of the five bedrooms - Rs 15,744, or Rs 19,489 with the five bathrooms covered. A two-floor 5BHK's connected volume is typically about 482 cubic metres including the void and landing, still well inside one machine. Two machines at Rs 23,998 applies only if a door at the top of the stairs has split the house into two volumes, and at that point the ducted Aangan at Rs 25,999 on central air-conditioning is worth pricing first.
The short answer
Short answer: By BHK: 3BHK - one Vaayu Rs 11,999 on 255 to 312 cubic metres of connected air plus three reeds at Rs 749, total Rs 14,246 (a Megh Rs 3,499 if the living room is bounded rather than open). 4BHK - the same machine on 340 to 425 cubic metres plus four reeds, Rs 14,995, or Rs 17,991 for all eight rooms. 5BHK - one Vaayu low at the stair base on about 482 cubic metres plus five reeds, Rs 15,744, or Rs 19,489 complete. Ducted Aangan Rs 25,999 when the house has central air-conditioning and you want rooms behind doors covered. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999, four hotel-inspired blends included in the box) for the connected living volume of a villa; reeds from ₹749 for a single bedroom or bathroom; a single room done properly from ₹899; the Aangan (₹25,999) ducted into central air-conditioning for genuine whole-home coverage.

A villa is not one room, it is a set of connected volumes and a set of closed doors, and the two need different answers. Whole-home scenting means one fragrance held evenly across the part of the house you actually live in - the entrance, the living room, the dining - running on a schedule so it is already there when someone walks through your front door, and already there when you come home yourself. The bedrooms, the guest bathroom and the study get their own quiet solutions. Nobody in the house has to remember anything.
3BHK, 4BHK or 5BHK - which system should I actually buy?
One machine, three totals, and the exceptions named. 1. 3BHK. Connected run 900 to 1,100 sq ft, about 255 to 312m³. One SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 with four hotel-inspired waterless blends in the box, plus three reeds at ₹749 (₹2,247): ₹14,246. Exception: a bounded living room rather than an open run takes a Megh 6L ₹3,499 with the water-based Hotel Collection ₹299 instead. 2. 4BHK. Connected run 1,200 to 1,500 sq ft, about 340 to 425m³. Same Vaayu plus four reeds (₹2,996): ₹14,995, or eight rooms at ₹5,992 for ₹17,991 complete. Exception: a first-floor lounge behind a door, an L-shaped limb or an annexe is a second volume, and two units is ₹23,998. 3. 5BHK. Usually two floors; connected volume about 482m³ including the stair void and landing. One Vaayu placed low at the stair base plus five reeds (₹3,745): ₹15,744, or ten rooms at ₹7,490 for ₹19,489. Exception: a door at the top of the stairs, or a wish to scent every room regardless of doors, points to the ducted Aangan ₹25,999 on central air-conditioning. 4. Common to all three: ventilate and clean first, run gently, and swap any reed for a Boond ₹899 or Sukoon ₹1,899 where you want adjustable control. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531. Made in India; a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
One line: 3BHK ₹14,246, 4BHK ₹14,995, 5BHK ₹15,744 - the same Vaayu ₹11,999 with four blends in the box every time, and one more ₹749 reed for each extra door. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
The whole-home answer most villa owners land on: the SOSA Vaayu - waterless cold-air scenting to ~1000m³, Bluetooth app and timer, and four hotel-inspired blends included in the box - at ₹11,999. One bedroom or a guest bathroom starts on reeds from ₹749; a single room done properly from ₹899; central air-conditioning from ₹25,999. A recommendation for each, with the totals
Each house type, with its number, its total and its exception.
Why this works at home
The recommendation for each, in one place
The whole-home answer: the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 - waterless, app-scheduled, ~1000m³, and it arrives with four hotel-inspired blends in the box. A single bedroom or guest bathroom starts on reeds from ₹749.
Rs 14,246, and the one case where you should spend less
A 3BHK is the cleanest version of the two-layer answer. The connected run - entrance, living, dining and the passage joining them - is typically 900 to 1,100 sq ft, which at a 10 ft ceiling is 9,000 to 11,000 cubic feet, about 255 to 312m³. Against the Vaayu's approximately 1000m³ that is a large margin, and margin at home is a feature: it means the machine runs gently rather than hard in a house where people sit for hours. Three bedrooms on reeds at ₹749 is ₹2,247, so the house is ₹14,246; five reeds including bathrooms is ₹3,745, so ₹15,744. Now the case for spending less, which we would rather you heard from us. If your 3BHK is a compact plan where the living room is effectively one bounded room with doors off it rather than an open run, there is no connected volume worth ₹11,999 - a Megh 6L at ₹3,499 with the water-based Hotel Collection ₹299 will hold that room through a whole evening and is the honest recommendation.
Tip: if you cannot walk from the front door to the dining without turning a handle, buy the ₹3,499 answer, not the ₹11,999 one.
2
4BHK
Rs 14,995 for the house, Rs 17,991 for every room in it
At four bedrooms the machine does not change and the door count does. A 4BHK villa of 2,400 to 3,200 sq ft usually has a connected run of 1,200 to 1,500 sq ft, about 340 to 425m³ at a 10 ft ceiling - still comfortably one Vaayu at ₹11,999. Four bedroom reeds at ₹749 is ₹2,996, so the house as most families use it is ₹14,995; cover the bathrooms and a study as well and eight rooms at ₹5,992 makes the complete house ₹17,991. Where 4BHKs differ from each other is shape rather than size, and it is worth checking yours against three patterns. A straightforwardly open ground floor: one unit, placed mid-run. An L-shaped plan with a limb around a corner: same unit, placed at the elbow rather than at either end, because air turns corners badly. And a first-floor family lounge behind its own door, which is genuinely a second volume and the one 4BHK case where a second unit at ₹23,998 total earns its price. Adding a second machine to the same open floor does not - it makes the house stronger, and stronger is not the target at home.
3
5BHK
Rs 15,744, a staircase, and the point where ducting takes over
A 5BHK is usually two floors, so the connected volume goes vertical: a ground-floor run of about 368m³, a stair void of about 57m³, an open landing of about 57m³, roughly 482m³ in total and still well inside one Vaayu at ₹11,999. Place it low near the stair base and warm air carries the register up the void on its own; what reaches the landing is gentler than downstairs, which is correct rather than short. Five bedroom reeds at ₹749 is ₹3,745, so the house is ₹15,744, and ten rooms at ₹7,490 makes it ₹19,489 complete. Two exceptions matter at this size. If a door at the top of the stairs seals the floors, you have two volumes and a second unit at ₹23,998 total is real. And if you want every room scented regardless of doors and the house runs on ducted central air-conditioning, the Aangan at ₹25,999 - approximately 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, Meenar ₹38,500 for 12,000 to 18,000 - is the only route that delivers it, and it sits just ₹2,001 above two standalone machines.
Tip: 3BHK to 5BHK adds two doors and about ₹1,500. It does not add a machine.
The SOSA principle
The machine is the same in all three houses. What grows is the number of Rs 749 answers - which is why a 5BHK costs about Rs 1,500 more to scent than a 3BHK.
Find your BHK, take the total, and check the one exception listed against it before you order anything.

The SOSA home edit
Whatever the house looks like, the logic is the same: one scent, sized to the volume that is genuinely connected, running on a schedule so nobody in the family has to remember it. A single bedroom or a guest bathroom is happy on reeds with no power at all; the living room you actually live in wants a machine; the whole villa with central air-conditioning wants the ducts doing the work. Every SOSA system is made in India, cruelty-free and vegan, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Here is where each one belongs.

Honest notes before you buy anything. Coverage ratings assume connected air volume. A machine cannot push scent through a closed bedroom door, and it never will - so a partitioned villa is not one scenting problem but several, and honest sizing means saying so out loud rather than selling you one machine and hoping. Scent the volume that is genuinely open to itself, then give the closed rooms their own quiet answer, usually a reed diffuser. Fragrance never substitutes for ventilation or cleaning. If a room smells damp, stale or of last night's cooking, open it, air it and clean it first; scent added on top of that only makes a more complicated bad smell. A home is not a lobby you pass through. Households include children, elderly parents, pregnant family members and pets, all of whom breathe this air far longer than any visitor does, which is why gentle dosing is the default at home and why the settings we suggest are lower than the machine can run. Anyone in the house reporting a headache is a recalibration signal, not a complaint to argue with - turn it down or turn it off, and tell us. The Vaayu runs waterless nebulising oil and comes with the four hotel-inspired blends; the Hotel Collection bottle is water-based and belongs in the ultrasonic machines only. The two formats are not interchangeable. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with or endorsed by any hotel brand. ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
There is a difference between a room that smells nice and a home that has a signature, and almost nobody is told what it is. A room that smells nice is an event: you light a candle, you spray something in the hallway before people arrive, it is lovely for forty minutes and then it is gone. Somewhere else in the house a bathroom gel is doing one thing, a kitchen spray another, and a bedroom reed a third. Four pleasant smells in four rooms is not a fragranced home. It is four rooms.
A signature is the opposite. It is one scent, sized to the house, running on a schedule - so it is already in the air when someone walks through your front door, and already there at eleven at night when you come home yourself, and nobody has lifted a finger to make it happen. That is the whole trick the great hotels use, and it is not complicated: they do not chase smells room by room, they hold one fragrance across the volume people actually move through. In a villa that usually means the entrance, the living room and the dining as one connected space, with the closed rooms handled separately and quietly.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and I have sized this for houses across India, and I would rather tell you honestly that your layout needs two answers than sell you one machine that disappoints you. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 with your home's approximate size, the number of floors and a line about the layout - open plan, closed rooms, central air-conditioning or split units - and we will give you a free sizing recommendation. I read those descriptions myself. Everything is made in India, cruelty-free and vegan, and a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Your home gets a memory; a girl gets a classroom.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the same machine recommended for a 3BHK and a 5BHK?
Because the number that decides the machine is the connected volume, and that grows far more slowly than the bedroom count. Going from three bedrooms to five adds private rooms behind doors, which the machine never enters, while the shared part of the house - entrance, living, dining, passage and in a two-floor home the stair void and landing - grows from roughly 255 to 312 cubic metres up to roughly 482. Both of those sit well inside the Vaayu's approximately 1000 cubic metres, so the same unit is the correct answer in both houses and simply runs at a similar gentle setting in each. What genuinely changes with BHK is the second layer: three reeds becomes five, which is Rs 1,498 more, and that is the entire difference between scenting a 3BHK and scenting a 5BHK.
What if my house does not fit any of these three patterns?
Then send us the plan rather than picking the nearest line, because the exceptions are where money gets wasted in both directions. The houses that genuinely differ tend to have one of a few features: a ground floor partitioned into separate closed rooms, in which case you need less machine than the table suggests and possibly none; double-height volumes, where you should count the real ceiling height rather than the floor area, since 400 sq ft at 20 ft is about 227 cubic metres on its own; three or more floors, where the stair logic thins out beyond the second landing; or an annexe, a basement or a sealed wing that constitutes a second volume. Message us on WhatsApp with your approximate size, number of floors and layout and we will do the arithmetic with you before you buy anything.
Can I start with just the machine and add the bedroom reeds later?
Yes, and for many families it is the sensible order. The connected volume is where every arrival happens, where guests stand and where you walk in at the end of the day, so it delivers the largest change in how the house feels and it is the layer worth having first. The bedrooms can then follow one at a time at Rs 749 each as you decide what each room wants - and doing it that way lets you audition registers properly, since the Vaayu arrives with four hotel-inspired waterless blends in the box and you will know within a fortnight which direction your house wants to be. The reverse order also works if the budget suits it better: reeds are cheap, they are useful immediately, and nothing is wasted when the machine arrives, because they move into the rooms the machine cannot reach.
Do bigger houses need a stronger setting?
They need an earlier start rather than a stronger setting, which is the distinction that keeps households comfortable. More air takes longer to reach an even level, so a 5BHK benefits from the schedule beginning well before people are home - hours rather than minutes on a day you are entertaining. Intensity is a different control and at home it should stay low regardless of house size: a household breathes this air for hours, and includes children, elderly parents, sometimes someone pregnant, and pets. The correct target in a 3BHK and a 5BHK is identical, which is a level where a guest reads the house as welcoming without being able to name a note. You will go nose-blind within days in either house, so ask the first person who arrives and believe them, and treat any report of a headache as a reason to turn it down.
Which of the three Vaayu bundles suits a family villa best?
Choose by the character of your house rather than by hotel name, and treat the four blends as a wardrobe you will audition at home. Bundle A is Ritz-Carlton Inspired, Westin Inspired, St. Regis Inspired and 1 Hotels Inspired; Bundle B is Westin Inspired, Shangri-La Inspired, Four Seasons Inspired and Ritz-Carlton Inspired; Bundle C is St. Regis Inspired, W Hotels Inspired, 1 Hotels Inspired and Four Seasons Inspired. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations, and SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any hotel brand. Run each for a few days in your own connected volume, with your own furniture and your own cooking, and let the household decide - that home audition is worth more than any description. Tell us your interiors and how you use the ground floor and we will suggest a bundle before you order.

Facts verified August 2026: The SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebulising machine covering approximately 1000m³, with Bluetooth app and timer scheduling. It ships with four hotel-inspired waterless blends included in the box, chosen as one of three bundles at purchase: Bundle A - Ritz-Carlton Inspired, Westin Inspired, St. Regis Inspired, 1 Hotels Inspired; Bundle B - Westin Inspired, Shangri-La Inspired, Four Seasons Inspired, Ritz-Carlton Inspired; Bundle C - St. Regis Inspired, W Hotels Inspired, 1 Hotels Inspired, Four Seasons Inspired. Format distinction: the Vaayu and the HVAC systems run waterless nebulising oil, while the separate SOSA Hotel Collection fragrance (15ml ₹299) is water-based and runs in the ultrasonic machines only - Boond (₹899), Sukoon (₹1,899) and Megh (₹3,499). The two fragrance formats are not interchangeable, and the Hotel Collection bottle does not go into a Vaayu. SOSA Aangan (₹25,999) and SOSA Meenar (₹38,500) are HVAC nebulising systems for approximately 8,000-10,000 sq ft and 12,000-18,000 sq ft respectively, ducted into central air-conditioning. Reed diffusers need no power and make no noise: Morning Freshness ₹749, Garden Bloom ₹799, Evening Calm ₹799, Mountain Breeze ₹849, Fresh Brew ₹849; 130ml from ₹1,249; duo sets ₹1,498, ₹1,548 and ₹1,598.
