The honest answer to this question is that there is nothing in the SOSA range worth sending as a standalone gift under ₹300. The cheapest thing on the site is the ₹299 Hotel Collection 15ml, and it is fuel for an ultrasonic machine - somebody who does not own one cannot use it at all. If your ceiling is genuinely ₹300 and cannot move, this page will not talk you into anything. If it can move by about eighty rupees, there is a real gift on the other side of that line.
SOSA Adaa, ₹379 for 3ml - bergamot with green cardamom and jasmine sambac over white musk. It leads this page because it is the floor: the cheapest thing SOSA makes that is a whole gift rather than a component. Alcohol-free oil, rolled on rather than sprayed, needing no machine, no tank and nothing the person already had to own.
Quick answers — read this first
Is there a SOSA gift under ₹300? No standalone one. The ₹299 Hotel Collection 15ml is water-based fragrance for an ultrasonic diffuser, so it only works for somebody who already owns a Boond at ₹899, a Sukoon at ₹1,899 or a Megh at ₹3,499. On its own it is a bottle nobody can use.
What is the cheapest real SOSA gift? A 3ml attar at ₹379 - Adaa ₹379, Ameeri ₹385, Mastani ₹389, Nawaab ₹399. Alcohol-free concentrated oil, rolled on rather than sprayed, complete in itself and needing nothing else to be useful.
Are the ₹399 car refills a gift? Only for somebody who already owns the hanging bottle. Car hanging refills are ₹399 to ₹429 and they refill something - to anybody else they are the same problem as the ₹299 bottle. If they do not own one, the car fragrance itself starts at ₹449.
The short answer
Short answer: There is no standalone SOSA gift under Rs 300. The Rs 299 Hotel Collection 15ml is water-based fuel for an ultrasonic machine and is useless to anyone who does not own one. The cheapest real gift is a 3ml attar at Rs 379, then car hanging refills at Rs 399 to Rs 429 for an existing owner, then car fragrance at Rs 449.
The pick: A 3ml attar at ₹379 - the cheapest thing here that works as a gift on its own.
Why: It is complete: alcohol-free oil in a bottle that needs no machine, no refill and nothing already owned to make it usable.
A gift with no occasion attached has one job an occasion gift does not: it has to make sense on its own. That usually means small enough not to need explaining and useful enough not to sit there - which is why a ₹379 attar often lands better than something three times the price handed over with an apology for the timing.
What can I buy as a just-because gift under Rs 300?
From SOSA, nothing - and it is more useful to say that than to dress something up to fit the number. The one item below ₹300 is the Hotel Collection 15ml at ₹299, which is water-based fragrance made to go into an ultrasonic cool-mist machine such as Boond at ₹899, Sukoon at ₹1,899 or Megh at ₹3,499. Given to somebody who does not own one of those machines, it is a bottle of liquid with no purpose, and it does not go into a Vaayu or a Safar either, because those take waterless nebuliser oil instead. The cheapest thing here that works by itself is a 3ml attar at ₹379, then car hanging refills at ₹399 to ₹429 for somebody who already owns the bottle, then car fragrance at ₹449. If eighty rupees more is genuinely not available, do not buy a fragment of something - send a message instead, which costs nothing and is not a lesser gesture. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A cheap gift and an incomplete gift are different things. ₹299 of fuel for a machine somebody does not own is not a small gift - it is a puzzle.
The floor, honestly stated: ₹379 for a 3ml attar. Nothing below that works on its own.
Under-₹300 gift lists usually work by finding something technically priced under the number and hoping nobody checks what it is. It is worth understanding why the ₹299 bottle fails that test, why the ₹399 refill fails it for most people too, and what the ₹379 attar does differently.
1
The first problem
The ₹299 bottle is fuel, not a gift
The Hotel Collection starts at ₹299 for 15ml and it is a water-based fragrance concentrate. It is designed to be added to the water tank of an ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser, which is a machine the recipient either owns or does not. If they do not, there is no way to use the bottle at all - it is not a perfume, it is not a room spray and it cannot be applied to anything.
It also does not cross over to the other SOSA systems. Three different fluids run through this range and none is interchangeable: reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil, the ultrasonics use this water-based Hotel Collection, and Vaayu and Safar use waterless nebuliser oil at ₹1,049 for 100 gm. So the ₹299 bottle is a genuinely good buy for one specific person - somebody who already has a Boond, a Sukoon or a Megh and is running low - and a poor gift for everybody else.
Tip: Buy the ₹299 bottle only if you have personally seen the machine in their home.
2
The second problem
The ₹399 refill has the same catch
Just above the band, car hanging refills sit at ₹399 to ₹429, and they are the same kind of item: a refill for a hanging car bottle somebody already owns. For a person who has been using one for months, it is a genuinely thoughtful thing to send, because it is the part that runs out and the part nobody remembers to reorder.
For anybody else it repeats the ₹299 mistake at a higher price. If they do not already own the bottle, the thing to send is the car fragrance itself at ₹449 - and at that point you are only fifty rupees above the refill and you are sending something complete.
3
What works
Why ₹379 is the real floor
A 3ml attar at ₹379 for Adaa, ₹385 for Ameeri, ₹389 for Mastani or ₹399 for Nawaab is complete in itself. It is alcohol-free concentrated perfume oil, rolled onto the pulse points rather than sprayed, and it needs no machine, no tank, no socket and nothing the person already had to own. That is the difference the eighty rupees buys, and it is not a small one.
It also does not read as a budget item, which matters more than the price gap suggests. 3ml of oil is a real supply because of how little of it gets used at a time, so the person receiving it has something to use for months rather than a token that ran out in a week.
Tip: The cheapest gift that works is better value than the cheapest item on the site.
The smallest serious gift
An attar is the one fragrance gift that costs under ₹500 and still reads as considered
Alcohol-free concentrated oil, applied on the pulse points rather than sprayed. Adaa is bergamot, green cardamom and jasmine sambac; Ameeri is Taif rose, sandalwood and saffron; Nawaab is white oud, Mysore sandalwood and Kashmir saffron; Mastani is night-blooming jasmine, damask rose and oudh. From ₹379 for 3ml, ₹669 for 6ml and ₹1,149 for 12ml.
Do not buy the Rs 299 bottle unless you have seen their ultrasonic machine.
Do not buy the Rs 399 car refill unless they already own the hanging bottle.
Start at Rs 379 for a 3ml attar: Adaa, Ameeri, Mastani or Nawaab.
If Rs 379 is out of reach, send a message instead of a fragment of something.
The SOSA principle
The cheapest item in a range and the cheapest gift in a range are rarely the same thing, because an item can be a component and a gift has to be whole.
Every list that puts the ₹299 bottle in a gift guide has confused the two.
What the next Rs 80 to Rs 150 buys you
So the real entry list starts at ₹379 and it is short. A 3ml attar at ₹379 to ₹399 is the smallest complete fragrance gift SOSA makes, and the four characters are properly different: Adaa is bergamot, green cardamom and jasmine sambac; Ameeri is Taif rose with sandalwood and saffron; Mastani is night jasmine with damask rose and oudh; Nawaab is white oud with Mysore sandalwood. Car hanging refills at ₹399 to ₹429 come next, but only for an existing owner. Car fragrance at ₹449 for Jasmine is the cheapest complete thing for a person who drives, rising to ₹549 for the Mysore Orange Blossom spray.
The SOSA gift edit
Everything near the bottom of the range, and whether it is a gift
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
Hotel Collection 15ml · ₹299
Water-based fragrance for an ultrasonic machine - Boond ₹899, Sukoon ₹1,899 or Megh ₹3,499. A good buy for somebody who owns one and is running low. Not a gift for anybody else, because there is nothing they can do with it. It also never goes into a Vaayu or a Safar.
Car hanging refill · ₹399 to ₹429
A refill for a hanging car bottle. Thoughtful for a person who has been using one for months, because it is the part that runs out. For everybody else it is the same trap as the ₹299 bottle, and the ₹449 car fragrance solves it for fifty rupees more.
A 3ml attar · ₹379 to ₹399
The cheapest complete gift here. Alcohol-free oil, rolled on rather than sprayed, needing nothing already owned. The one caveat is taste: send Adaa at ₹379 if your evidence about what they like is thin, and save Nawaab at ₹399 for a known oud wearer.
Car fragrance · ₹449 to ₹549
Nine scents, each in a mild hanging format and a stronger spray at the same price. The cheapest complete gift for somebody who drives. It fails for a person who barely uses their car, and the strong scents fail in a car that is shared.
The gift that goes to a home
A reed duo set is a readymade gift box without any guessing about taste
Two reed diffusers in one box: Day & Night pairs lemon-mint with lavender-chamomile at ₹1,498, Fresh & Grounded pairs lemon-mint with pine-cedar at ₹1,548, and Warmth & Bloom pairs coffee-vanilla with rose-jasmine at ₹1,598. Nothing to plug in, nothing to switch off, about 6 to 10 weeks each.
One more thing about the space just above this band, because it is where most people who land here should end up. At ₹699 to ₹799 the Car Perfume Sprays Discovery Set is three minis rather than one bottle, and at ₹749 a 50ml Morning Freshness reed diffuser runs about 6 to 10 weeks with nothing to plug in. Neither is under ₹300 and neither pretends to be. If the budget is fixed and small, the ₹379 attar is the answer; if it can stretch, these are the first two places worth stretching to.
Ameeri (Taif rose and sandalwood), Nawaab (white oud and saffron) and Mastani (night jasmine and rose) in one box. Three characters instead of one guess.
Waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold diffusion for a car or a travel bag. The gift for someone who spends real hours driving.
₹3,999
When the gift is meant to be the big one
SOSA Safar ₹3,999 for the car, SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 for the whole home
Safar is the waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold-diffusion perfume diffuser for a car or a travel bag - ₹3,999 for the SOSA-scent trios and ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios. Vaayu is the machine version of the same idea for a building: waterless cold-air nebulising of undiluted oil, rated for approximately 1000 m3 of connected air, with a Bluetooth app and timer, a 400ml tank, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, DC 12V / 1A 5W mains power and CE, RoHS and SGS marks. Both run waterless nebuliser oil - 100 gm ₹1,049, 300 gm ₹1,849 - and neither takes the ₹299 water-based Hotel Collection bottle. A rating assumes one connected body of air, so a Vaayu suits a large open home or a business and is the wrong gift for a two-bedroom flat with every door closed. It adds a scent to a space; it does not remove one.
Tell SOSA who you are surprising, whether they drive, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which one to send, including when the cheaper one is the better gift.
I would rather tell somebody there is nothing here for three hundred rupees than sell them a bottle that only works if the person already owns a machine.

The SOSA gifting range
Three questions settle almost every one of these. Will it be worn, in which case it is a taste decision and you need to be able to name something they already wear? Will it sit in a room, in which case it is a placement decision and a reed diffuser asks nothing of you except an address? Or does it go in a car, where the real choice is between the mild hanging format and the stronger spray at the same price? Answer that, then pick the band - and with no occasion attached, the band should usually be lower than you first reach for.
The SOSA gifting range
Pick by where the gift will live, then by budget - in that order
Approx 1000 m3 of connected air with a Bluetooth app and timer - a large home or a business
₹11,999
Three different fluids run through this range and none of them is interchangeable. Reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil. The SOSA ultrasonics - Boond ₹899, Sukoon ₹1,899 and Megh ₹3,499 - run the water-basedHotel Collection from ₹299. Vaayu and Safar run waterless nebulising oil, so the ₹299 water-based bottle never goes into either of them. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations and SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest price sheet
What SOSA publishes, and what SOSA does not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a gifting page should state.
Attars - Adaa ₹379 / ₹669 / ₹1,149, Ameeri ₹385 / ₹679 / ₹1,165, Mastani ₹389 / ₹685 / ₹1,179 and Nawaab ₹399 / ₹699 / ₹1,199 in 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. The Attar Trio is ₹1,055, ₹1,859 or ₹3,189.
Car fragrance - nine scents from ₹449 to ₹549, each in a mild hanging format and a stronger spray at the same price, with 50ml sprays at ₹1,499 and saver combos at ₹899 to ₹949. Safar is ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: how long any fragrance will be liked, delivery or dispatch timing, any festive discount, any minimum order quantity or bulk rate, and any claim about what a person will feel on receiving a gift. Those questions go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Not sure which one to send? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 who you are surprising, roughly how old they are, whether they drive, whether they already keep their home scented, and what you want to spend. You will get one straight recommendation, including the times the honest answer is the cheaper product or a different category altogether. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - quantities and anything corporate are discussed on WhatsApp rather than priced on a page. Bespoke composition, a fragrance composed for you by Sonal, is a real SOSA service and is also discussed there. Nothing on this page is advice about anybody's wellbeing: a gift is a way of telling somebody you thought about them, and where a person is genuinely struggling it belongs alongside showing up for them rather than in place of it.

A note from Sonal
The orders I like most are the ones with no date attached. Somebody buys one attar on a Wednesday afternoon and asks us to send it to a flat in another city, and there is no birthday in the note and no anniversary and no festival. Those are, in my experience, the gifts that actually get used, and I think the reason is unglamorous: nobody has to live up to them. An anniversary gift carries an expectation. A Wednesday gift carries none, so it gets opened, put on a shelf and used the next morning.
The practical advice I give people is the opposite of what they expect. Go smaller than you think. A large unexplained present asks a question - what is this for, what do I owe you - and the person receiving it spends energy answering it. A ₹379 attar, a ₹449 car scent, a ₹749 reed diffuser: these are small enough to be accepted without any of that. If you want to spend more, spend it on accuracy instead of size - the right scent for somebody's actual flat beats a bigger bottle of the wrong one every time.
One honest thing about the harder version of this. People write to us when somebody they love is having a terrible week, and they want to send something that helps. I will not tell you that a fragrance does that, because it does not. What a small parcel says is: I was thinking about you on a day when nothing made me. That is a real thing to say to somebody and it is worth saying. It is not treatment, it is not a substitute for turning up, and anybody who sells it to you as either is selling you something else.
Frequently asked questions
Is there any SOSA gift under Rs 300?
Not as a standalone gift. The only item below Rs 300 is the Hotel Collection 15ml at Rs 299, which is water-based fragrance for an ultrasonic diffuser and cannot be used by somebody who does not own one.
What is the cheapest SOSA product that works as a gift on its own?
A 3ml attar at Rs 379 for Adaa, Rs 385 for Ameeri, Rs 389 for Mastani or Rs 399 for Nawaab. It is alcohol-free concentrated oil, rolled on rather than sprayed, and it needs no machine or refill to be useful.
Can I give the Rs 299 Hotel Collection bottle to someone?
Only to somebody who already owns a Boond at Rs 899, a Sukoon at Rs 1,899 or a Megh at Rs 3,499. It is the fluid those machines run on. It does not go into a Vaayu or a Safar, which use waterless nebuliser oil instead.
Are car refills at Rs 399 a good cheap gift?
Only for somebody who already owns the hanging car bottle, in which case they are genuinely useful because that is the part that runs out. If they do not own one, buy the car fragrance itself at Rs 449.
What should I do if my budget really is Rs 300?
Send a message rather than a component of something. A gift with no occasion attached is a way of saying you were thinking about somebody, and a bottle they cannot use does not say that. If the budget can move to Rs 379, the attar is the answer.
Take the next step
Eighty rupees above the question, and the answer changes completely
Below ₹379 the only thing here is fuel for a machine, and that is a component rather than a gift. At ₹379 a 3ml attar is complete, alcohol-free and usable the morning it is opened. At ₹449 car fragrance does the same job for anybody who drives. Tell SOSA your real ceiling on WhatsApp and you will be told plainly whether anything fits it.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.
