Part three — what I cannot sell you, including the promise

Start with the promise, because it is the part most brands would give you and I will not. There is no molecule that carries the idea of money, and the compositions people describe that way are usually just quieter than the ones around them. Restraint is legible; cost is not.

The first year you want to put everything in — more materials, more contrast, more of the thing you are proud of — and the whole education is learning that a composition improves when you take something away.
