The word in that title worth arguing with is stronger. What a large property lacks at a viewing is almost never intensity. It is coverage and consistency — the same modest level present in the entrance, the living room and the far bedroom, from before the buyer arrives until after they leave. A property that smells strong in one room and of nothing in the next has not been under-scented; it has been unevenly scented, and turning anything up makes the first room worse without improving the second. So this page is about adequacy across 840 cubic metres rather than about force, it states our own machine's specification without adjectives, and it spends a third of its length on the properties where that machine is the wrong purchase.
Quick answers — read this first
Correct the question first: a large space needs an adequate, consistent level, not a stronger one. The failure mode is under-coverage, not under-intensity.

The specification: Vaayu, ₹11,999. Up to 1000 m³. 400ml tank, about 75 days. Bluetooth app plus 1h/4h/8h/24h timers. Under 38 dB. 0.9 kg. Key-lock and auto-stop. Dry, residue-free, waterless output. Four hotel-inspired scents supplied.

Where it is not the right answer: a single small furnished listing (buy the ₹1,899 Sukoon); a bathroom or hall (a ₹749 reed diffuser); a damp property (scent nothing until it is dry); a property with a defect (disclose it); a commercial volume above 1000 m³ (the Aangan at ₹25,999).
The short answer
Short answer: yes, in an appropriately large space — but the goal is an adequate and consistent level rather than a stronger one. The Vaayu at ₹11,999 covers up to 1000 m³ with an intensity you set, which is what solves an evenness problem; raising the output in one room does not. Set it low, start it early, and adjust downwards rather than up.
The pick: the Vaayu at ₹11,999 for a property of roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, particularly if it is vacant or stone-floored. The Aangan at ₹25,999 above 1000 m³. The Sukoon at ₹1,899 for one furnished occupied room. A reed diffuser from ₹749 for a bathroom, a hall, or a listing shown over months. Four of those five are cheaper than the machine in this page's title.
Shop: the Vaayu at ₹11,999 — waterless cold-air nebulisation, up to 1000 m³ or roughly 2,000–3,000 sq ft, 400ml lasting about 75 days, Bluetooth app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, under 38 dB, DC 12V/1A at 5W, 165 × 80.5 × 215 mm and 0.9 kg, auto-stop, key-lock, CE, RoHS and SGS certified, four hotel-inspired scents supplied. Free shipping above ₹499.
Straight answer
Can the SOSA Vaayu create a stronger fragrance experience in a large property-viewing space?
1. It can create an adequate and consistent one, which is what a large space actually needs. The complaint behind this question is nearly always evenness rather than force: strong at the console, nothing by the time you reach the guest bedroom. Raising the output does not fix an evenness problem. Covering the volume does.

2. The specification, plainly. Coverage up to 1000 m³, roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. 400ml refillable tank, up to about 75 days a fill. Bluetooth app plus onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity. Under 38 dB. DC 12V/1A at 5W. 165 × 80.5 × 215 mm, 0.9 kg. Freestanding, wall or HVAC mounted. Auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Four hotel-inspired scents supplied. Waterless: undiluted oil atomised by pressurised air to a dry residue-free mist.

3. Run it low and early rather than high and late. Two hours before the appointment, on a low setting, in the entrance zone. Walk the property from the front door at thirty minutes and adjust downwards if anything is noticeable as a fragrance rather than as a condition of the building.

4. Where it is not the right answer, and this list is longer than the one above it. A single small furnished listing — buy the ₹1,899 Sukoon. A bathroom or a hall — a ₹749 reed diffuser is better suited. A damp property — scent nothing until it is dry. A property with a defect — the answer is disclosure. A commercial volume above 1000 m³ — the Aangan at ₹25,999 is the correct machine.

5. And the free work comes first, always. Windows open on opposite walls the day before, every drain trap flushed, the air genuinely turned over. A machine in an unaired flat is two smells rather than one.

A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
TL;DR: the honest correction is that a large property needs an adequate, consistent level rather than a stronger one, because the failure is under-coverage and not under-intensity. The Vaayu at ₹11,999 covers up to 1000 m³ with an intensity you set, 400ml for about 75 days, timers and app, under 38 dB, 0.9 kg and a key-lock — and it is the wrong purchase for a small furnished listing, a bathroom, a damp flat, a property with a defect, or anything above 1000 m³.
SOSA Vaayu · waterless scent diffuser
The specification, without adjectives
SOSA Vaayu · waterless scent diffuser ₹11,999
Coverage up to 1000 m³, approximately 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. 400ml refillable tank, up to about 75 days per fill. Bluetooth app plus onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity. Under 38 dB. DC 12V/1A, 5W. 165 × 80.5 × 215 mm, 0.9 kg. Freestanding, wall-mount or HVAC-mount. Auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Four hotel-inspired fragrances supplied. Waterless cold-air nebulisation: undiluted oil atomised by pressurised air to a dry, residue-free mist, with no water and no heat introduced into the property. That is the whole of it, and the paragraphs below are about when those figures are the right ones and when they are not.

The word to correct, and the specification without adjectives

This page carries our own product in its title, which puts a particular obligation on it: it has to be more restrained than the pages that do not, not less. So it does two things before it does anything else. It disagrees with the word stronger, because that word describes the wrong problem and chasing it produces a worse viewing. And it prints the specification as a list of numbers, so you can judge the machine against your own property rather than against my description of it. Everything persuasive I could write about how a well-prepared flat feels on arrival is true of a modest even level and not of a strong one, so there is nothing to gain here by overstating.

1
THE CORRECTION
Under-coverage, not under-intensity — and why turning it up makes it worse
Start with what the complaint actually is when somebody says a large property does not smell of enough. Ask them to describe where they were standing, and the answer is always the same shape: it was noticeable at the entrance and then it thinned out, and by the far end of the flat there was nothing. That is not a description of insufficient intensity. It is a description of a source that is not covering the volume. A fragrance released at one point disperses outward through the air available to it, and the further it travels the more it is diluted by air that has not yet received any; in an 840-cubic-metre apartment with internal doors, corridors and dead corners, a small source produces a steep gradient from a high concentration at the console to nothing three rooms away. Now consider what happens when the response is to turn something up. The gradient does not flatten. It scales. The far bedroom rises from nothing to almost nothing while the entrance rises from noticeable to obtrusive — and the entrance is the room the buyer's first impression is formed in, which means you have made the important part worse in order to improve the part nobody was judging. This is why the failure mode of an over-corrected property is so recognisable: an assertive hallway, a neutral middle and a buyer who is now thinking about the fragrance instead of the flat. What fixes a gradient is a source that can address the volume — either enough coverage from one point or, in a compartmented property, more than one point — held at a modest level long enough for the air to equalise. Adequacy and evenness, not force. And the practical corollary, which is the single most useful instruction in this whole group of pages: adjust downwards, never upwards. If you are unsure, run it lower and start it earlier.
2
THE SPECIFICATION
The numbers, so you can judge it against your own property
Then the machine itself, stated as figures rather than as claims. The Vaayu is ₹11,999. Coverage up to 1000 m³, which is approximately 2,000 to 3,000 square feet at ordinary ceiling heights. A 400ml refillable tank running up to about 75 days per fill. Bluetooth app control plus onboard buttons, with 1h, 4h, 8h and 24h timers and adjustable intensity. Under 38 dB. DC 12V/1A, 5 watts. 165 × 80.5 × 215 mm and 0.9 kg. Freestanding, wall-mounted or HVAC-mounted. Auto-stop and a key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Supplied with four hotel-inspired fragrances. The process is waterless cold-air nebulisation: undiluted fragrance oil atomised by pressurised air into a dry, residue-free mist, with no water and no heat introduced into the property. Three of those figures do most of the work for a realtor and it is worth saying which. The 1000 m³ is the one that answers this page's question, because it is a volume rather than a floor area and a volume is what you are scenting. The absence of water is the one that decides between machines rather than between brands: an ultrasonic adds 30 to 50 millilitres an hour to the air, which is harmless in a furnished occupied flat and wrong in a closed, empty, stone-floored one or in any property during a wet month. And the 0.9 kg is the one that changes the economics, because a machine that goes back in the boot is not consumed by the property it is used in. Everything else on that list — the timers, the app, the key-lock, the 38 dB, the auto-stop — is convenience, and convenience is worth paying for once but is not a reason to choose a machine. Choose it for the volume and the absence of water. Enjoy the rest afterwards.
3
WHERE IT IS NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER
Five properties, four of which send you to something cheaper
And now the section that decides whether the rest of this page is worth trusting. First: a single small furnished listing. If you have one occupied flat of 900 to 1,400 square feet that you show a few times a month, the Sukoon at ₹1,899 is better value and it is also the more appropriate instrument — 270 to 320 sq ft of coverage, 16 to 18 hours a fill on low, steady, 2H and 4H timers, auto shut-off and three 15ml Hotel Collection scents of your choice included. The water it adds is irrelevant in a flat somebody is living in. Second: a bathroom, a powder room or an entrance hall. These are small enclosed volumes where a fixed, silent, unpowered source is not a compromise but the correct object, and a reed diffuser from ₹749 — Morning Freshness at ₹749 for a hall, Mountain Breeze at ₹849 where a property runs cool and formal — is better suited than any machine. It needs 24 to 72 hours to establish, so place it early; after that it holds its level for months without anybody attending to it. Third: a damp property. Nothing should be scented until it is dry. Fragrance over damp is a worse smell rather than a better one, the moisture is the thing to deal with, and no machine of any kind belongs in that flat until the cause has been found and corrected. Fourth, and this is the one I care about most: a property with a defect. A leak, a dry or broken trap, smoke damage, something under a floor, anything with a structural cause — these are material facts about the property, and the answer is to find it, fix it or disclose it. Scenting over a defect in order to complete a sale is misrepresentation, not staging, and we will not help with it. That is the one line this brand does not cross and it is not a footnote on this page. Fifth: a genuinely commercial volume above 1000 m³ — a sales gallery, a clubhouse, a very large villa with double-height living areas. There the Aangan at ₹25,999 is the correct machine, with up to 3,000 m³ of coverage, an 800ml reservoir, a metal body, programmable schedules, HVAC or standalone installation and under 42 dB. Putting the smaller machine into that building is a purchase that will disappoint you, and I would rather say so before you make it. Four of those five send you to something cheaper than the product named in this page's title, and the fifth sends you to a builder rather than to us.
The test that covers all five in one sentence: if the property is small, enclosed, furnished, damp, defective or larger than 1000 m³, this is not the machine — and in four of those six cases the right answer costs a great deal less.

Where it is not the right answer

The five situations from the section above, set out with what to buy instead and why. I would rather this table were the one a reader remembers from a page named after our own product, because a buying guide that recommends the same machine for every property is not a guide. The last row is the one that matters more than the rest of the page put together.

The three machines this page names, in order of volume
The SOSA principle
A large property does not need a stronger smell. It needs an adequate one that is the same in the entrance, the living room and the far bedroom.
The failure mode is a gradient, not a level. Turning the output up scales the gradient rather than flattening it, and makes the entrance — the room the impression is formed in — worse.

Setting it up in the cases where it is right

Assume the property has passed all five of those tests and the free work is done — windows opened on opposite walls the day before, every drain trap flushed until the seal holds, the air conditioning run for an hour if the flat is warm, and a walk through with the front door shut behind you to notice what is actually there. Then the sequence, which is the same one this cluster uses everywhere and which is built around one idea: a property that has already arrived at its level reads as a property of the building, and a property still climbing while the buyer is in it reads as something being done to them. At two hours before the appointment, set the machine down in the entrance zone at waist height or above, at the edge of the room rather than in a doorway, out of the direct path of an air-conditioning outlet, and on a low setting. It reaches a working level within minutes and a settled viewing level well inside that two-hour window, and the level is what you want rather than the climb. Use the 4h timer for a single appointment and the 8h for a day of them, or set the schedule from the app the night before so that you never have to make the trip at all. At thirty minutes, walk the flat from the front door exactly as the buyer will, and adjust downwards. Never upwards, and if the answer is not obvious, downwards anyway: an under-scented property is invisible and an over-scented one is a topic. Engage the key-lock before you leave the machine unattended, and let the auto-stop handle the end of the cycle.

Then placement across a compartmented property, which is where the coverage figure meets the actual floor plan. A thousand cubic metres of open plan and a thousand cubic metres divided into eight rooms with doors are not the same problem, and the number on the box describes the first. Air moves freely along a corridor with the doors open and hardly at all with them shut, so before you decide the machine is insufficient, open the internal doors: the single most effective free adjustment in a large listing is to let the property behave as one volume for the two hours before a viewing. Place the machine where the property actually flows — the entrance zone works because it is the one point every buyer passes and because the impression forms there — and let the corridor do the distribution. Where a property genuinely cannot be opened up, or where a wing is closed off, a second small source in that wing is more sensible than a higher setting at the first point; a reed diffuser placed a couple of days ahead is often the neat answer in a closed guest bathroom rather than a second machine. On scent, the brief is narrow and it is not impressive. The Ritz-Carlton-inspired Quiet Luxury — white tea, bergamot and cedar — is the default for a viewing; the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity is the lightest of the seven and suits a smaller flat; the 1 Hotels-inspired Forest Suite, cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves, is the dry one for a property that runs warm or where a kitchen has no door. Avoid anything sweet, anything heavily floral and anything a buyer might recognise as a specific perfume. The buyer should be able to describe the apartment afterwards and unable to describe the smell.

Then the two things this page will not do, which are also the reasons to trust the rest of it. It will not tell you that fragrance changes what a property fetches, how many offers it draws or how long it takes to sell. There is no defensible number for any of that, and inventing one would be the easiest paragraph on this page to write and the least honest. What is claimable is that a prepared property feels different on arrival and is more memorable to walk through, and that this belongs in the same category as photography, styling and lighting: presentation rather than persuasion. And it will not help with a property that has something wrong with it. Damp, a leak, a drain, smoke damage, anything with a structural cause — these are material facts about a property, and running a machine over them so that a buyer does not notice during the ninety minutes they are in the flat is misrepresentation. Find it, fix it or disclose it, and scent only a listing that is genuinely sound. Every other page in this group ends at the same place, and it is not a formality: it is the reason a realtor can take the rest of the advice seriously. If your property is sound, prepared and large, this machine will hold a quiet even level across it for as long as you want, without water, without noise and without you being in the building. That is the entire claim, and it is enough.

A page named after its own product owes the reader the list of properties it is wrong for. Four of the five on ours send you to something cheaper, and the fifth sends you to a builder.

The SOSA edit

The whole group of ten pages compressed into one table, in the order a decision is actually made: prepare the property, check the volume, then choose the instrument that suits it. Three of the six rows point at something other than the machine in this page's title, which is the correct proportion rather than a gesture.

1. The free work ★ Windows opposite walls the day before, every drain trap flushed, AC run if warm, then walk it Always, and before any product. A machine in an unaired flat runs two smells instead of one ₹0
2. Vaayu Waterless nebulisation up to 1000 m³, 400ml ≈75 days, app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under 38 dB, key-lock, 0.9 kg A sound property of roughly 2,000–3,000 sq ft, particularly vacant or stone-floored. Low, two hours ahead ₹11,999

Never: a property with a defect Damp, a leak, a dry trap, smoke, anything structural — a material fact about the property Find it, fix it or disclose it. This is the one thing we will not sell a machine for
Honest notes for buyers: fragrance is the last step in preparing a property, never the first, and it must never be used to cover a defect. Damp, a leak, drains, smoke or anything structural is a material fact about a property: find it, fix it or disclose it. Scent a listing that is genuinely sound. On the machines: the Vaayu at ₹11,999 is waterless cold-air nebulisation — no water, no heat and no dampness — covering up to 1000m³ or roughly 2,000–3,000 sq ft, with a 400ml tank lasting about 75 days, Bluetooth app control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under-38dB running, auto-stop and a key-lock, at 0.9 kg and smaller than a shoebox, so one machine can serve a whole portfolio. The Aangan at ₹25,999 covers up to 3,000m³ for sales galleries and clubhouses. The ultrasonic Sukoon, Boond and Megh are water-based and add 30–50 ml of water an hour to the air, which makes them the wrong choice for a closed or humid vacant property. A reed diffuser needs 24–72 hours to establish, so it suits a listing shown over months rather than a viewing tomorrow. A candle must be attended and put out, which rules it out of an unoccupied property. SOSA does not make a room spray for the home; the sprays in the range are car perfumes. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with or endorsed by any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

A note from Sonal

I asked to have this page written more carefully than the other nine, because it is the one with our own product in its title and that is exactly the sort of page a reader is right to be suspicious of. The first thing it does is disagree with its own headline. Stronger is the wrong ambition for a large property, and an agent who chases it ends up with an assertive hall, an empty middle and a buyer thinking about the smell. What a big flat wants is an unremarkable level that is the same everywhere, held from before the appointment until after it, and produced by something nobody in the building notices working.

The second thing it does is list the properties this machine is wrong for, and I would rather that list were long than short. A small furnished flat is a ₹1,899 problem. A hall is a ₹749 problem. A damp flat is not a fragrance problem at all, and a flat with a defect in it is not one either — it is a disclosure, and there is no version of this business in which I help somebody past that. A very large gallery is a ₹25,999 problem, and selling the smaller machine into it would produce a disappointed customer and a bad review I would deserve. What is left, after all of those, is a real and reasonably common situation: a sound, large, often empty premium listing being shown to somebody who has arranged their Saturday around it. For that property, the machine does what it says on the specification sheet, quietly, for about seventy-five days at a time. That is the whole of my claim and I would rather make it small and keep it.

Everything is made and supported from Pune, and a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. You get a space that smells like somewhere considered; a girl gets a classroom. That equation has always felt right to me.

Frequently asked questions

Can the SOSA Vaayu make a large property smell stronger during a viewing?
It can make one smell adequate and consistent, which is what a large property actually lacks. The usual complaint is a gradient — noticeable at the entrance, absent at the far end — and raising the output scales that gradient rather than flattening it. Coverage up to 1000 m³ at a modest setting is the fix.
What is the full specification of the Vaayu?
₹11,999. Up to 1000 m³ or roughly 2,000–3,000 sq ft. 400ml refillable tank lasting up to about 75 days. Bluetooth app and onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity. Under 38 dB. DC 12V/1A at 5W. 165 × 80.5 × 215 mm, 0.9 kg. Auto-stop, key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS. Four hotel-inspired scents supplied.
When should I not buy the Vaayu?
For a single small furnished listing, where the Sukoon at ₹1,899 is better value; for a bathroom or hall, where a reed diffuser at ₹749 is better suited; for a damp property, where nothing should be scented until it is dry; for a property with a defect, where the answer is disclosure; and above 1000 m³, where the Aangan at ₹25,999 is the correct machine.
How long before a viewing should the machine be running?
About two hours, on a low setting, in the entrance zone. It reaches a working level within minutes and a settled level well inside the window, and the level is what you want rather than the climb. Walk the flat from the front door at thirty minutes and adjust downwards, never upwards.
Does scenting a property help it sell?
We make no claim of that kind and there is no defensible figure for it. What is honestly claimable is that a prepared property feels different on arrival and is more memorable to walk through, which puts fragrance alongside photography, styling and lighting. It must never be used to conceal a defect.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body — the pillar guide for REAL-051 to REAL-060, correcting the idea that a large property needs a stronger fragrance rather than an adequate and consistent one, stating the Vaayu's specification without adjectives, setting out the five properties for which it is the wrong purchase and what to buy instead, giving the setup sequence for the cases where it is right, and restating that fragrance is presentation rather than persuasion and must never be used to conceal a defect.
