Two people can both love jasmine and want opposite bottles, because what separates a floral you live with happily from one you switch off after a week is almost never the flower, it is the texture wrapped around it.
Quick answers — read this first
Which floral fragrance suits an ultrasonic diffuser? Depends on the texture you want. Green floral is the Shangri-La-inspired Tea Garden (jasmine, green tea, white tea). Warm floral is the Four Seasons-inspired Warm Welcome (citrus, floral, sandalwood). Powdery floral is the St. Regis-inspired Old-World Glamour (amber, violet, woods). Rs 299 for 15ml each.
Are floral home fragrances too strong? They can be, and it is usually the texture rather than the flower. A floral over sugar or heavy musk builds in a closed room, while a floral over green tea or dry wood stays where you set it. If florals have felt overwhelming before, the green-backed ones are the ones to try.
Does SOSA have a rose or tuberose scent? Not in the Hotel Collection. The three florals there are jasmine over green tea, a floral heart over sandalwood, and violet over amber and woods. Anybody wanting a big single-flower rose or tuberose should know that up front rather than after ordering.
The short answer
Short answer: floral is a texture question rather than a flower question. Green floral is the Shangri-La-inspired Tea Garden (jasmine, green tea, white tea), warm floral is the Four Seasons-inspired Warm Welcome (citrus, floral, sandalwood), powdery floral is the St. Regis-inspired Old-World Glamour (amber, violet, woods). Rs 299 for 15ml. Florals over green or dry wood stay where you set them; florals over sugar build in a closed room. No single-flower rose or tuberose in this collection.
The pick: the Day & Night reed duo (₹1,498) as the whole-home start, or single signatures from ₹749.
Shop: SOSA reed diffusers and the Hotel Collection scenting range.
A home's fragrance is a system, not a product: honest air beneath, one scent family expressed room by room, occasions layered on top, and consistency held for years. That is what guests experience as "your home always smells incredible" - and what the household experiences as home.
Which floral fragrance should I choose for a diffuser?
Pick the texture first, because that is what you will live with. 1. Green floral. The Shangri-La-inspired Tea Garden (jasmine, green tea, white tea) from the collection, ₹299 for 15ml. Jasmine held down by tea, so it reads as a garden in daylight rather than a bouquet in a warm room - the most wearable floral here and the one to start with if florals have gone wrong for you before. 2. Warm floral. The Four Seasons-inspired Warm Welcome (citrus, floral, sandalwood): a floral heart with citrus above and sandalwood below, which gives it evening weight without sweetness. Good in a living room, good for hosting. 3. Powdery floral. The St. Regis-inspired Old-World Glamour (amber, violet, woods). Violet is a texture as much as a flower and the effect is soft, indoor and slightly formal - the heaviest of the three and the one that holds longest in a room. 4. Match to volume. Green floral in a bedroom or a small room, warm floral in a living room, powdery in a room with textiles that can carry it. Boond ₹799, Sukoon ₹1,799, Megh ₹3,499. 5. The honest gap. There is no big single-flower rose or tuberose in this range, and if that is specifically what you want, this is not the collection for it. Three to six drops per tank, water-based only, rinse between scents. SOSA's own interpretations; not affiliated with any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
One line: green floral for daytime and small rooms, warm floral for living rooms and evenings, powdery for something softer and more formal. All Rs 299 for 15ml.
The whole-home start most households choose: the Day & Night duo - Morning Freshness for the day's bright spaces and Evening Calm for the bedroom - at ₹1,498, flame-free and plug-free. Add a mist diffuser with the Hotel Collection (from ₹299) for hosting hours.

Floral is a texture question, not a flower question
Three textures, three room behaviours.
Why this works
The three floral textures
Start where most households start: the Day & Night duo at ₹1,498 - or a single signature reed from ₹749.
Somebody who says they love jasmine and somebody who says they cannot stand it are frequently describing two completely different products that happen to share a flower. Jasmine over green tea and cool woods behaves like an open window. The same flower over sugar, heavy musk and vanilla behaves like a room that has been shut for a week. The material at the top is nearly identical; the base changes everything about how it occupies a space, how long it lasts and whether it feels like too much by the second evening. So the useful question when buying is not which flower but what it is standing on, which is also why reading a note list from the bottom up tells you far more than reading it from the top down.
Tip: read a note list from the bottom up, because the base decides how the room behaves.

Florals build in closed rooms
Air conditioning changes the maths
A floral tested in an airy room in the afternoon and a floral running in a closed, air-conditioned bedroom at eleven at night are not the same experience. Recirculated air keeps returning the same molecules to you, so a register that seemed gentle on arrival accumulates, and florals - which are already the family most likely to be described as too much - show this faster than woods or teas do. The practical answer is to underdose florals specifically: three drops where you might use five of something dry, shorter run cycles, and never leaving a unit running unattended in a shut room on the assumption that it stays where it started, because it does not.

What the collection does not have
Worth saying before you order
It is more useful to be told this now than to discover it. There is no soliflore here - no big rose, no tuberose, no single-flower gardenia of the kind sold heavily in the Indian market and genuinely loved by a lot of people. The three florals in this range are all composed and all restrained, because they were built as interpretations of hospitality registers, and hospitality does not use heady single flowers for exactly the reasons covered above. If a full-volume rose is the actual want, buy that elsewhere with a clear conscience. If the want is a room that reads as floral without announcing it, these three are precisely built for that.
Tip: if you want a full-volume rose, this is not the collection, and it is better to know now.
The SOSA principle
Two people arguing about jasmine are usually arguing about what was underneath it.
Green tea, sandalwood and amber turn the same flower into three different rooms.

The SOSA whole-home edit
Whichever transformation you are building toward, every SOSA product here is alcohol-free and made in small batches in India. Reeds run flame-free and plug-free in any room; the ultrasonic mist diffusers carry the Hotel Collection through living spaces and hosting hours; and the Vaayu machine holds large open homes on a schedule. One family, room by room - and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Here is the full edit.
The SOSA whole-home edit
One family, every room - essential to luxury, matched to how you live
A note on the two systems: SOSA reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil - no flame, plug or water, safe in any room including nurseries' adjacent spaces at gentle placement. The Hotel Collection is a separate water-based fragrance for ultrasonic (mist) diffusers - not reed oil, and not interchangeable. Fragrance crowns a cared-for home; it does not substitute for ventilation and cleaning. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
Nobody actually buys a diffuser. In ten years of making fragrance I have never once met a customer who wanted a bottle with sticks in it. What they want is the moment someone walks into their home, pauses, and says "wow - it smells incredible in here." They want their children to grow up with a smell that will mean home for the rest of their lives. They want the house to feel finished.
That is why I compose scents the way I do - not as products but as the missing layer of a home: the fresh note at the door that says this house is kept, the warm one in the living room that says you are welcome, the lavender in the bedroom that says the day is over. One family of scents, held for years, becomes something no decor budget can buy: identity.
Everything here is alcohol-free, flame-free where it matters, and made in small batches in India. And a part of every order supports girl-child education - because a home's best fragrance is what it gives back.
Frequently asked questions
Which floral should I start with?
The Shangri-La-inspired Tea Garden, Rs 299 for 15ml. Jasmine over green tea is the most wearable of the three and the least likely to feel heavy.
Why do florals feel overpowering?
Usually the base rather than the flower. A floral over sugar or heavy musk builds in a closed room, while one over tea or dry wood stays where you set it.
Which floral lasts longest?
The St. Regis-inspired Old-World Glamour. Amber and violet over woods is the heaviest of the three and holds longest in a room.
Is there a rose or tuberose option?
Not in this collection. The three florals here are composed and restrained rather than single-flower.
How many drops for a floral?
Three rather than five, and shorter cycles, because florals accumulate faster in closed rooms. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory signals reach the brain's emotion and memory centres (amygdala, hippocampus) ahead of conscious processing, which is why scents trigger emotional responses and autobiographical memories with unusual speed and durability; a home's ambient scent influences mood, comfort and social judgments at moderate, replicated effect sizes, with gentle intensities outperforming strong ones and no fragrance effect surviving unmanaged odour sources. SOSA reed diffusers are alcohol-free fragrance oil with natural rattan reeds (no flame, electricity or water), from ₹749, lasting roughly 6-10 weeks per fill; refills from ₹2,399. SOSA ultrasonic (mist) diffusers - Boond (300ml, ₹799), Sukoon (500ml, ₹1,799), Megh (6L, ₹3,499) - use a separate water-based Hotel Collection fragrance (from ₹299); this is not reed diffuser oil. SOSA Vaayu is a waterless cold-air machine with Bluetooth app and timer, ~1000m³ coverage, ₹11,999. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. Cruelty-free, vegan, made in India.
