Why evenness and strength are different problems

Fragrance concentration is highest wherever it is released and falls away from there, shaped by the room's air currents. Picture that as a curve across the floor of the room. A single strong source produces a steep curve: obvious, sometimes overwhelming, within a few feet of the machine, and thin by the time you reach the opposite wall. Two moderate sources placed apart produce two shallower curves that overlap in the middle, and the sum of them is far flatter. Same total output, completely different room. This is why people who add a second machine often describe the result as "calmer" rather than "stronger" — the peak has come down and the trough has come up, which is exactly what you want. It is also why the gain from a second source depends so completely on where you put it. That is not a mistake in the spec sheet; tank capacity and misting rate are different things, and coverage follows the rate. What six litres buys is up to 100 hours of continuous running, which is a genuinely useful proposition in a bedroom that is very dry, or air-conditioned all night, or in a home where nobody wants to refill anything for a fortnight. Buy it for that. Never buy it because it is the big one.

Running two machines in one room

In a long room it is one at each end. In a tall room both go low, around ninety centimetres, because the fragrance will rise on its own. Run them simultaneously rather than alternately — a room takes thirty to forty minutes to settle, and staggering them just moves the target. If one machine has a timer and the other does not, set the timed one to the longer session so the room does not lose half its coverage an hour before you go to bed.

Keep the same fragrance in both, always. Two scents in one room is not zoning; it is a blend nobody composed, and it will read as a third smell that is worse than either. The framing of this question is the problem with it. There is no "big diffuser" in the ultrasonic range in the sense people mean — the machine with the largest tank covers the smallest area of the two I would actually recommend. Capacity and coverage are unrelated specifications, and a good deal of money gets spent in this category on the assumption that they are the same number.

What I find genuinely useful is the worst-corner idea. When someone tells me a room is not working, they are almost never describing the area near the machine — they are describing the far end, or the bit round the corner. More output does nothing for that. A second, smaller source standing in the part that fails does everything, and it usually costs ₹899. The test I would suggest before spending anything is to carry whatever you already own into the corner that fails, leave it there for an evening, and see whether the room changes.

So: plain room, one Sukoon, and enjoy the remote and the sixteen hours. Awkward room, one Sukoon and one Boond, three drops in each, same fragrance in both. And if you want a big tank because you are tired of refilling, buy the Megh knowing exactly what it is — a hundred hours in one room, not a wider room.
