On launch day a buyer does two things: they attend the event, then they walk into the sales gallery to look at the plans properly. Those are two rooms, two bodies of air and two schedules - but they must not be two smells, and that single rule decides the whole plan.
Quick answers — read this first
Do the launch event and the sales gallery need separate scent machines? Yes. They are two separately moving bodies of air, usually on different air-conditioning, and often in different structures, so one machine cannot serve both. Put a SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) in each, up to 1000m³ or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft per machine, and run the same fragrance in both. If the launch hall itself is 8,000-10,000 sq ft, use a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) there and keep the Vaayu for the gallery.

Should the launch event and the sales gallery use the same fragrance? The same fragrance, at different intensities. The event runs at a medium level for about four hours; the gallery runs at a low level through opening hours, every day, for the life of the project. Order one profile for every SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) on site so a buyer moving between the two rooms experiences one building rather than two venues.

How do I set the schedules for a launch event and a sales gallery on the same day? Use the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) app timers. Set the event machine on a 4h timer starting 45 minutes before doors, and the gallery machine on an 8h timer starting 30 minutes before the gallery opens. Both run unattended, which matters on launch day when nobody on the team has a spare hand.
The short answer
Short answer: treat them as two spaces, not one - a SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) in each, up to 1000m³ or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft per machine, running the same fragrance at a medium level for four hours in the event and a low level all day in the gallery; a launch hall of 8,000-10,000 sq ft takes a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) instead.
The pick: a SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) per space for the event, the gallery and the sample flat, with the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) taking the event hall when it is 8,000-10,000 sq ft on its own.
Next step: send both floor plans and the launch-day timings and we will set the two schedules with you - book a free scenting plan.
Launch event and sales gallery - one fragrance, two settingsLaunch hall - Vaayu ₹11,999, medium, 4h timer, from 45 min before doorsBanquet-scale hall instead - Angaan ₹25,999, even across 3,000m³Sales gallery - its own Vaayu, low, 8h timer, from openingSample flat - a third Vaayu, lowest setting, same fragranceThe walkway between them - no machine, it is open air
Two spaces on the same site are two separate bodies of air, so they need two machines. What they share is the fragrance. What differs is the intensity and the schedule: the event runs four hours at a medium level, the gallery runs all day at a low one.
The two-space shortlist - tap either machine
Straight answer
Do the launch event and the sales gallery need separate machines, or can one cover both?
Separate machines, same fragrance. Even when the gallery is fifteen steps from the marquee, the two are different bodies of air, usually on different air-conditioning and often in different structures, and a machine sized for one will be strong in it and absent in the other. So the plan is one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) per space, each rated to 1000m³ or roughly 2,000-3,000 sq ft, and a third for the sample flat if there is one. Where the event hall is a single volume of 8,000-10,000 sq ft, that one takes a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) and the gallery keeps its Vaayu. What differs between the two spaces is not the fragrance but the intensity and the schedule. A launch event is a four-hour room with a hundred or four hundred warm bodies in it and the doors propped open, so it runs at a medium level on a 4h timer starting 45 minutes before doors. A sales gallery is an eight-hour room with six people in it at a time, so it runs at a low level on an 8h timer from half an hour before opening, and it will do that every day for the next two years. Set both in the app during setup and neither needs touching on the day. One thing not to attempt: the covered walkway, porte-cochere or open podium between the two spaces. That is open air, a fragrance cannot hold there, and money spent on it is money not spent on the third machine indoors. And the usual honest note - if either space still smells of fresh paint or adhesive, ventilate and cure it first. A free scenting plan will set both schedules with you, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Two machines, one fragrance, two intensities. Event at medium on a 4h timer, gallery at low on an 8h timer, and nothing at all in the open-air walkway.

Two spaces, two schedules, one fragrance

The two-space plan comes down to three decisions: how many bodies of air you actually have, what each one runs at, and which parts of the site you should not attempt to scent.

1
Count the bodies of air
Two rooms fifteen steps apart are still two rooms
Proximity is not connection. A marquee and a site-office gallery have separate air, separate air-conditioning and usually a door or an open stretch between them, so a single machine placed hopefully in the middle serves neither. Measure each enclosed volume, divide by 1000m³, and you will almost always get one machine per space. Add the sample flat as a third. Three machines at a launch is normal and is still under ₹36,000 of equipment that you keep.
Tip: if you have to walk through outside air to get from one to the other, they are two machines.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu covers 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, which is one machine for the event space and one for the gallery in most launches.
See SOSA Vaayu →
2
Same fragrance, two intensities
Medium for four hours, low for eight, every day
A launch event is warm, crowded and short. A sales gallery is cool, quiet and permanent. The same level cannot serve both: a setting strong enough to hold up in a full marquee will feel heavy in an empty gallery on a Tuesday morning, and a setting right for the gallery will vanish under a launch crowd. Keep the fragrance identical and move the intensity - medium in the event, low in the gallery, lowest in the sample flat. That is the whole trick, and it costs nothing.
SOSA Angaan
In a hall of 8,000-10,000 sq ft the Angaan holds a medium level evenly across 3,000m³ instead of being strong at one end.
See SOSA Angaan →
3
Do not scent the walkway
Open air will take your fragrance and your budget with it
Every launch has a covered walkway, a porte-cochere or a stretch of podium between the event and the gallery, and it is always the first place someone suggests putting a machine. It cannot work. Air moves freely there, a fragrance dilutes to nothing within seconds, and running a machine harder to compensate only wastes oil. The transition you want is not a scented corridor - it is the moment a buyer steps indoors and finds the same fragrance waiting. That contrast is more effective than continuity would have been.
Tip: spend that machine indoors instead, in the sample flat, where it will actually be noticed.
SOSA Vaayu
A third Vaayu in the sample flat, on the lowest setting, does more for the day than any attempt to scent open air.
See SOSA Vaayu →
The SOSA principle
The launch and the gallery are not two events. They are the first and second rooms of the same building, and a buyer walking between them should feel exactly that.
Two machines, two settings, one fragrance. Any other combination reads as two suppliers.
SOSA Angaan
When the event hall stands alone: SOSA Angaan covers 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - on the venue's airflow or standalone, while the gallery keeps its own Vaayu, ₹25,999.

Nothing. It is open air, a fragrance cannot hold there, and the machine is better spent inside the sample flat.

Which fragrance to run across both spaces is the decision that outlasts launch day by about two years, and it is worth reading the signature fragrance guide for a luxury property launch before ordering. Once the event is over, the event machine does not go into a cupboard - the guide on continuing the project-launch fragrance inside the sales gallery covers the handover, the settings change and the refill plan. For the gallery's own long-term sizing, the pillar guide on planning scenting for a luxury real estate sales gallery has the full volume maths.

The SOSA two-space specification

Two machines and one fragrance across both spaces. The Vaayu handles a normal-height event space, the sales gallery and the sample flat, each on its own machine and its own setting; the Angaan takes the event hall when it is 8,000-10,000 sq ft on its own. Both are waterless and made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

A quick word on choosing: buy one machine per enclosed volume and put the saving into the fragrance rather than into a fourth machine for a walkway that cannot hold one. One honest note - fragrance works alongside ventilation and cleaning in both spaces, cannot cover fresh paint, adhesive or damp, and SOSA makes no claim that scent influences a purchase decision. A note from Sonal

The walk from a launch event to a sales gallery is about ninety seconds long, and it is the most important ninety seconds of a developer's year. A guest has just been shown a film, a model and a chairman's speech, and they are now going to sit down and look at a price. Everything they meet in that second room is telling them whether the first room was theatre or truth.

So the plan is simple and I would not vary it. One Vaayu per enclosed space, each rated to 1000m³, all of them running the same fragrance, with the intensity changing rather than the scent - medium in the event, low in the gallery, lowest in the sample flat. Where the event hall is genuinely banquet scale, the Angaan takes that room at 3,000m³ and the gallery keeps its Vaayu. And do not try to scent the walkway between them. Open air does not hold fragrance, and pretending otherwise is the most common way launch budgets get wasted.

The honest part: fragrance is a finish, not a fix. If the gallery still smells of new adhesive because it was handed over four days ago, ventilate it and give it time, because scent on top of that gives you both at once. And we make no claim that fragrance influences a purchase decision - it makes two rooms feel like one considered building, which is worth doing for its own sake. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Can one machine cover both the launch event and the sales gallery?
No. They are two separately moving bodies of air, usually on different air-conditioning and often in different structures, so one machine will be strong in one and absent in the other. Use one SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999 per space, each covering up to 1000 cubic metres or about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft.
Should the event and the gallery use the same fragrance?
Yes, the same fragrance at different intensities. Medium in the event space for about four hours, low in the gallery through opening hours, and lowest in the sample flat. Changing the scent between the two rooms makes a buyer feel they have moved between two venues rather than deeper into one project.
How do I set the timers for launch day?
Set them during afternoon setup and leave them. The event machine goes on a 4 hour timer starting 45 minutes before doors; the gallery machine goes on an 8 hour timer starting half an hour before the gallery opens. Both are set from the SOSA Vaayu app, and neither needs anyone's attention on the day.
Should we scent the walkway between the event and the gallery?
No. A covered walkway, porte-cochere or podium is effectively open air, and a fragrance dilutes to nothing there within seconds. Running a machine harder to compensate only wastes oil. Put that machine inside the sample flat instead, where it will be noticed.
How many machines does a launch day need in total?
Usually three: one for the event space, one for the sales gallery and one for the sample flat, at Rs 11,999 each. If the event hall is a single volume of 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, that one becomes a SOSA Angaan at Rs 25,999 and the other two stay as they are.
