Most launch scenting is planned as if the evening were the end of it. It is the beginning. The buyer who walked through your marquee will be back in the sales gallery in six weeks, and whether the project still smells like itself by then is decided in a fifteen-minute handover on the Sunday morning after.
Quick answers — read this first
How do we keep the launch fragrance running in the sales gallery afterwards? Move the machines rather than buying new ones. The morning after the launch, relocate each SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) into the gallery and the sample flat, drop the intensity one step from event level to gallery level, and change the app timer from a 4h event run to an 8h opening-hours schedule. The fragrance itself does not change at all - that continuity is the entire value of having a launch scent.

Should the sales gallery use the same fragrance as the launch event? Yes, and at a lower intensity. Buyers who attended the launch return to the gallery weeks or months later, and recognising the scent is what makes the project feel consistent. Order the same profile for every SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) on site and record the name on the project handover sheet so nobody changes it when the site team changes.

How much does it cost to keep a sales gallery scented after launch? Very little. A SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) holds 400ml, which lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, so a gallery running eight hours a day typically needs a handful of refills a year. The machine itself is bought once for the launch and carries on for the life of the project.
The short answer
Short answer: move the launch machines into the gallery the next morning rather than re-buying - keep the fragrance identical, drop the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) one intensity step, switch the app timer from a 4h event run to an 8h gallery day, and write the scent name and settings on the handover sheet so it survives a change of site team.
The pick: the same SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) units from launch night, relocated to the gallery and the sample flat, with the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) staying in place where the ongoing space is a large experience centre.
Next step: send us your gallery plan and your launch settings and we will write the handover schedule with you - book a free scenting plan.
From launch night to gallery running - what changes and what does notThe fragrance - unchanged, for the life of the projectThe intensity - drops from medium to low the next morningThe timer - from a 4h event run to an 8h gallery dayThe machine - moves from the venue into the gallery, not re-boughtThe record - scent name and settings on the handover sheet
Nothing about the fragrance changes after launch night. Everything about how it runs does: a lower intensity, a longer daily schedule, a different room, and a written record so the same scent is still running two years and three site managers later.

Straight answer
How do we carry the launch fragrance into the sales gallery once the event is over?
Move the machines, change two settings, and write it down. Move, do not re-buy. The SOSA Vaayu units you ran at the launch are 0.9kg each and freestanding, so on the morning after they come out of the venue and go straight into the sales gallery and the sample flat. Nothing needs to be ordered again. Change the intensity. A launch hall was warm, crowded and short-lived, so it ran at a medium level; a gallery is cool, quiet and permanently occupied by six people at a time, so it runs one step lower, and the sample flat one step lower still. Same fragrance, less of it. Change the schedule. Switch the app from the 4h event timer to an 8h run starting half an hour before the gallery opens, so it is settled before the first appointment rather than starting with it. Then the part everyone forgets: record it. Put the fragrance name, the intensity setting and the schedule into the project handover file alongside the paint codes and the lighting spec, because a sales gallery outlives its first site manager and the most common way a project loses its scent is that somebody new orders whatever is convenient. Use the key-lock for the same reason - it stops a well-meaning executive turning the intensity up before a VIP visit and leaving it there. On running cost, a 400ml fill lasts up to about 75 days at gallery hours, so the tank you filled before launch night is usually still going weeks later, and the ongoing spend is a few refills a year. Where the ongoing space is a large experience centre rather than a gallery, the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) stays in place at 3,000m³ and does the same job at scale. A free scenting plan will write the handover schedule with you, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Move the machine, drop one intensity step, switch to an 8h timer, and write the fragrance name into the handover file. Nothing else changes.
The SOSA Vaayu is what makes the handover trivial - 0.9kg and freestanding so it simply moves, with adjustable intensity and 1h/4h/8h/24h app timers so event mode becomes gallery mode in under a minute, and a 400ml tank that runs up to 75 days so the launch fill carries on working.

Nothing on this page needs a new purchase if the launch was planned properly. These are the same two machines, in their second posting.

SOSA Vaayu

SOSA Vaayu
0.9kg and freestanding, so relocating it is a two-minute job. Rated to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with adjustable intensity, 1h/4h/8h/24h app timers, under 38dB and a key-lock that keeps the gallery setting where you left it.

SOSA Vaayu (second unit)
A show home carries the same project fragrance at the lowest level of anywhere on the site. Waterless, so nothing damp or sticky reaches upholstery, veneer or a styled bed, and a 400ml tank lasts up to 75 days at those settings.
From ₹11,999
SOSA Angaan
If the ongoing space is a large experience centre
SOSA Angaan
Where the launch hall becomes a permanent experience centre of 8,000-10,000 sq ft, the Angaan stays where it is at 3,000m³ on the building's HVAC, with an 800ml reservoir, programmable schedules and under 42dB running.

SOSA Vaayu
The machine that has a second job
SOSA Vaayu Waterless Diffuser
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 0.9kg and freestanding so it relocates in minutes, adjustable intensity, Bluetooth app with 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, 400ml tank lasting up to 75 days, under 38dB, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.

The morning after - moving from event mode to gallery mode

The handover is three small actions on one Sunday morning, and the third one is the reason projects still smell right in year two.

1
Move it, do not re-buy it
The launch machines are gallery machines with a different posting
The single biggest waste in launch scenting is treating the equipment as an event cost. A Vaayu is 0.9kg, freestanding and needs one 5W socket, so relocating it from a marquee to a sales gallery takes a few minutes and no tools. Plan the launch count knowing where each unit will live afterwards - the hall machine becomes the gallery machine, the foyer machine becomes the sample flat machine - and the launch budget quietly turns into a two-year asset instead of an evening's expense.
Tip: decide each machine's second home before the launch, not after it.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu is 0.9kg on a 5W supply, so the handover is a two-minute job rather than an installation.

2
Two settings change, the fragrance does not
One intensity step down, and a 4h timer becomes an 8h one
A launch runs at a medium level for four hours in a warm, crowded room. A gallery runs at a low level for eight hours in a cool, quiet one, every day. Keep the fragrance identical and change only those two things. Start the schedule half an hour before opening so the room is settled for the first appointment, and set the sample flat lower still, because a show home that smells strongly perfumed reads as staged rather than lived in.
SOSA Angaan
A large experience centre keeps its Angaan at 3,000m³ and simply moves to a daily programmable schedule instead of an event one.
See SOSA Angaan →
3
Write it into the handover file
A gallery outlives its first site manager, and fragrances get quietly changed
This is the step that decides whether the project still smells like itself in year two. Record the fragrance name, the intensity setting, the daily schedule and the refill interval in the same file as the paint codes and the lighting spec, and name one person responsible for reordering. The key-lock does the rest, because the most common cause of a drifting gallery scent is not a change of supplier but a well-meaning executive turning the intensity up before a VIP visit and nobody turning it back down.
Tip: one written line in the handover file protects two years of consistency.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu key-lock fixes the settings for a public space, so what you record is what is still running months later.

The SOSA principle
A launch fragrance that stops at midnight was a party trick. One that is still running in March is a brand.
The handover takes fifteen minutes and decides whether the project has a scent or just had one.
SOSA Angaan
If the space stays large: SOSA Angaan covers 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - on the building's HVAC, with programmable daily schedules for an ongoing experience centre, ₹25,999.

If the launch has not happened yet, plan the second posting of each machine while you are still deciding the first - the guide to scenting a launch event and sales gallery together sets out the two-space plan that makes this handover trivial, and the complete fragrance setup for a project launch is the full kit list. For the gallery's own long-term sizing, placement and run schedule once the launch is behind you, the pillar guide on planning scenting for a luxury real estate sales gallery covers it in detail.

Key-lock, app schedules and a written record - three ways a fragrance survives a change of team

The SOSA gallery handover specification

Two machines, both in their second posting. The Vaayu moves from the launch venue into the gallery and the sample flat at a lower intensity and a longer daily schedule; the Angaan stays where it is if the launch hall becomes a permanent experience centre. Both are waterless, so nothing damp reaches a styled interior, and both are made in India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

A quick word on continuity: keep the fragrance fixed and vary only the intensity, and record both in the handover file so a change of site manager does not become a change of scent. One honest note - fragrance works alongside the gallery's ventilation and cleaning, cannot cover fresh paint, adhesive or damp in a newly finished space, and SOSA makes no claim that scent influences a purchase decision. A note from Sonal

The morning after a launch is the least glamorous part of this work and the part that decides whether any of it mattered. The marquee is coming down, half the team is asleep, and somebody has to decide what happens to two machines sitting on a plinth. Almost always the answer is that they get put in a store room, and four months later a buyer walks into the sales gallery and it smells of nothing in particular.

So I ask developers to plan the second posting before the first. The Vaayu that ran the launch hall goes into the gallery; the one from the foyer goes into the sample flat. Drop the intensity a step, change the app from a four-hour event timer to an eight-hour gallery day, turn the key-lock on, and write the fragrance name and settings into the project file. Where the launch hall becomes a permanent experience centre, the Angaan simply stays and moves to a daily schedule. Fifteen minutes of work, and the project has a scent for two years instead of one evening.

The honest part: none of this compensates for a space that smells wrong. A gallery handed over last week with fresh paint and new adhesive needs ventilation and time, and fragrance on top of it gives you two smells rather than one. And we make no claim that scent influences a purchase decision - it makes a returning buyer feel that the project is the same one they were introduced to, which is a modest and real thing. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need new machines for the sales gallery after the launch?
No. The launch machines are the gallery machines. A SOSA Vaayu is 0.9kg, freestanding and runs on a single 5 watt socket, so relocating it from the venue into the gallery takes a couple of minutes and no tools. Plan which room each unit will live in afterwards before you buy them.
What settings should change when the machine moves into the gallery?
Two. Drop the intensity one step, because a gallery is cooler, quieter and permanently occupied rather than warm and crowded for four hours. And change the app timer from a 4 hour event run to an 8 hour schedule starting half an hour before the gallery opens. The fragrance itself does not change at all.
How much does it cost to run the fragrance in the gallery each month?
A 400ml tank in a SOSA Vaayu lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, so a gallery running eight hours a day typically needs a handful of refills a year. The machine at Rs 11,999 is bought once for the launch and carries on for the life of the project.
How do we stop the fragrance being changed when the sales team changes?
Write it down and lock it. Record the fragrance name, the intensity setting, the daily schedule and who reorders it in the same project file as the paint codes and lighting spec, and use the Vaayu key-lock so nobody can adjust the settings before a VIP visit and forget to reset them.
Should the sample flat run the same fragrance as the gallery?
Yes, at the lowest setting on the site. A show home that smells strongly perfumed reads as staged, while the same fragrance barely there reads as somewhere people already live. One profile across every machine, three different intensities.
