You are scenting roughly three hundred of those seven hundred and fifty square feet. Everything else on this page follows from that subtraction, and it is the subtraction almost nobody does before they start shopping.
Quick answers — read this first
How do I scent a 750 sq ft chiropractic clinic with several treatment rooms? With one source in reception, sized to the air that is left after the cabins come out. Four treatment rooms at around 90 sq ft each is 360 sq ft, and a store, a washroom and a staff corner take another 90. That leaves about 300 sq ft of reception, waiting area and corridor. At a 3.05 m ceiling: 300 × 3.05 × 0.0929 gives roughly 85 cubic metres. One 130ml reed at ₹1,249 holds that comfortably, and no machine on the ladder is sized anywhere near it.
Why is the number on my lease the wrong number to shop with? Because a lease measures floor and a diffuser works on air, and the two units disagree twice over. First, a lease counts every room including the ones on your zero list - cabins, store, washroom, plant cupboard. Second, floor area has no height in it, and height is a third of the sum. Convert what is left with floor area in square feet × ceiling height in metres × 0.0929, and shop against that figure. A 750 sq ft clinic that scents 300 of them is buying for 300.
Does the corridor count as part of the scented volume? Yes, and it is the only room behind reception that does. Clients walk through it, it is open to reception at one end, and its air is continuous with the air you are sourcing. A ten-metre corridor a metre wide is 10 square metres, about 108 sq ft, and 10 × 3.05 is roughly 30 cubic metres. It is counted in the sum and it gets no source of its own. The cabins that open off it are out of the sum entirely.
The short answer
Short answer: By sizing to the air that is left after the treatment rooms come out. Four cabins, a store and a washroom take about 450 of the 750 square feet, leaving roughly 300 sq ft of reception and corridor, which at a 3.05 m ceiling is around 85 cubic metres. That is a reed diffuser's job, not a machine's, and it is the same scented volume as a 300 sq ft practice.
The pick: one 130ml Morning Freshness at ₹1,249 in reception, or the SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899 if you need the source stopped on a schedule.
Next step: send the floor plan with the cabins marked and the ceiling height written on it, and we will do the subtraction and the cubic sum before you buy anything - ask for a clinic scenting plan.
How should a 750 sq ft chiropractic clinic with several treatment rooms be scented?
By sizing to what is left of the 750, which is usually about 300 square feet. This is the page in the size family where the arithmetic actually bites, so do it in the order that keeps you honest. Subtract before you multiply. A 750 sq ft practice with multiple treatment rooms typically runs four cabins at around 90 sq ft each, which is 360 square feet, and a store, a washroom and a staff corner take perhaps another 90. Those rooms are on the zero list and they are not being scented at any level, so they are not part of the specification. What remains is the reception and waiting area at roughly 200 sq ft and a corridor at roughly 100. Three hundred square feet. Now convert, because you scent air rather than floor: floor area in square feet × ceiling height in metres × 0.0929. Three hundred at a 3.05 metre ceiling is 300 × 3.05 × 0.0929, or about 85 cubic metres. That is the number to hold against a product page, and it is worth sitting with, because 85 cubic metres is also the entire volume of a 300 sq ft clinic. Your practice is two and a half times the size of that one on paper and exactly the same size as a scenting job. Against 85, the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 is rated to 1000 cubic metres, so your scented zone is a little over eight per cent of what the machine is built for, and the Angaan at ₹25,999 is rated to 3,000. Neither is a candidate. The honest purchase is one 130ml Morning Freshness at ₹1,249 standing in reception, with the SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899 as the alternative where somebody needs a switch. The two mistakes I see at this size are both arithmetic rather than taste: shopping against 750 because that is the figure on the lease, and adding a second source for the corridor because the corridor looks like a separate room on the drawing. It is not a separate volume; it is the thin end of the one you already have. Fragrance here is an ambience decision like lighting, seating or flooring, it sits alongside your ventilation and cleaning rather than replacing them, SOSA products are not medical devices, we make no claim that scenting affects bookings, retention or spend, adjustment and treatment rooms stay unscented, and the clinician's judgement overrides any scenting plan.
Take out four cabins, a store and a washroom and 750 becomes 300. Three hundred at a 3.05 m ceiling is about 85 cubic metres, which is one reed at ₹1,249 and nothing else.
One 130ml Morning Freshness at ₹1,249 is the whole purchase for most clinics of this shape, standing in reception, with Mountain Breeze at ₹1,349 where the interior is darker and quieter. There is no second line on the invoice.
Both of these are listed so you can put your own cubic figure next to a published one rather than take my word for the gap. The product pages carry the coverage volumes, and at 85 cubic metres the comparison is not close enough to need an opinion.
Waterless cold-air nebuliser at ₹11,999, rated to 1000m³ or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. It is bought for control, corridor distribution and 90+ days of uptime rather than for coverage, and a 300 sq ft scented zone asks for none of the four.
HVAC nebulising diffuser at ₹25,999, rated to 3,000m³ or roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft, with an 800ml reservoir and programmable schedules. Against 85 cubic metres it is thirty-five times the job, and I would rather print that ratio than sell it.
₹11,999, 1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), waterless nebulisation of undiluted oil with no water and no heat, 400ml tank lasting 90+ days, Bluetooth app and onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, key-lock, under 38dB, 5W. CE, RoHS and SGS are electrical and compliance marks, not medical approval. Made in India.
Doing the subtraction takes ten minutes with a tape measure and it changes three separate decisions. The third one is the one that surprises owners, because it is about the shape of the space rather than its size.

Every room on the zero list leaves the sum before you multiply
Write your rooms in two columns. On the left, the spaces a client sits, stands or walks in with their clothes on: entrance, reception, waiting area, corridor. On the right, everything else: the four adjustment cabins, the examination room, the store, the washroom, the staff corner, the plant cupboard. Only the left column is measured. This is not a preference and it is not a budget decision - the right-hand rooms are unscented as a matter of course, so their cubic metres are not part of any specification. In a 750 sq ft practice with four cabins the right-hand column is usually 400 to 460 square feet, which is more than half the lease. Shop against the left column and you buy a bottle. Shop against the lease and you buy a machine you cannot use.
Tip: Do the two columns before you look at a single product page. The list takes ten minutes and it decides more than the fragrance does.
Where the left-hand column genuinely reaches 1,500 sq ft, the Vaayu becomes the right instrument. Below that it is a specification looking for a building.
The corridor is the one room behind reception that stays in
Clients walk through the corridor, it is open to reception at one end and it carries whatever reaches it, so its air belongs in the sum. Measure it honestly: a corridor ten metres long and a metre wide is 10 square metres, about 108 square feet, and at a 3.05 metre ceiling that is a little over 30 cubic metres. What you must not do is give it a source. It is the thin end of the reception volume and the buffer that keeps the cabins clear, and putting a bottle halfway along it converts a buffer into a second gradient. Count it, then leave it alone. The cabins that open off it never enter the sum at any point, at any dose, for any reason.
Mounted distribution along a genuine corridor is one of the four things the Vaayu is actually for, and it starts to matter at corridor lengths a small practice does not have.
Eighty-five cubic metres in a ribbon is not eighty-five in a box
Two clinics can share a scented volume and behave differently, because shape is not in the arithmetic. Your 85 cubic metres is not a cube: it is a reception of roughly 57 cubic metres with a long thin 30 cubic metre ribbon running off it, and a ribbon is the hardest shape a passive source has to fill. Air in a corridor moves along its length in whichever direction the doors and the air conditioning push it, and a bottle standing at one end supplies the near half well and the far half faintly. That is normal and it is not a fault to be corrected with money. Accept a quiet far end, or move the single source toward the corridor mouth so the two halves share it more evenly. Both of those cost nothing.
Tip: Walk the corridor from both ends with your eyes shut before you decide anything is wrong with it. Most owners have only ever walked it in one direction.
A ribbon is exactly the shape wall mounting is for, and the Vaayu mounts. It is also ₹11,999 for a corridor thirty cubic metres long, which is the wrong trade today.
The figure on your lease includes every room you have already decided not to scent, which is precisely why it is the wrong figure to hold against a coverage volume.
In a clinic with several cabins, more than half the lease is on the zero list before the conversation starts. Subtract first, multiply second, shop third.
Shown against the sum, not against the lease: 1000 cubic metres rated, against roughly 85 of scented air once four cabins and a washroom have left the calculation.
This is the two-column list from the section above, written out for a typical clinic of this shape. Copy the structure onto your own plan and the shopping decision makes itself.
The SOSA plan
The subtraction that turns 750 square feet into 300
The room on your floor plan
In or out of the scented volume
Reception and waiting area, about 200 sq ft
In. Roughly 57 cubic metres at a 3.05 m ceiling, and the only room with a source in it. One 130ml reed at ₹1,249. View →
The corridor to the cabins, about 100 sq ft
In, counted, and given nothing. About 30 cubic metres of connected air acting as the buffer. It takes drift from reception and that is its whole job.
Four adjustment and treatment cabins, about 360 sq ft
Out, entirely, at every stage of the sum. No source, no milder dose, no exception for the largest one. A faint drift through a shut door is normal; a scented cabin is a purchase you should not make. View →
Store, washroom, staff corner, about 90 sq ft
Out. Clients do not sit in them, and a washroom with an odour has a ventilation and cleaning answer rather than a fragrance one.
The clinic whose entire floor is the volume you have just calculated is worked through in scenting a 300 sq ft clinic, the reason a second bottle for the corridor makes the room worse rather than better is set out in one machine against multiple zones, and the point where the sum finally reaches a machine is in fragrance in a 1,500 sq ft centre. SOSA makes no health, therapeutic or wellbeing claim of any kind, and no claim that scenting affects bookings, retention or spend.
What the four capabilities are worth here: run windows, intensity, a key-lock and wall mounting. A 300 sq ft scented zone with one source has a use for the key-lock and nothing else on that list.
Neither of these is your purchase today. They are here so the rung above is visible and so the size gate is a number rather than a feeling. One source per connected volume of air. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The SOSA size ladder
The two machines a 750 sq ft clinic is still nowhere near
At a scented volume of 85 cubic metres the honest rung is a reed at ₹749 for 50ml or ₹1,249 for 130ml, or the Sukoon at ₹1,899 where a named person needs the source stopped on a schedule. Reed refills are sold as oil only at ₹2,399 for 300ml, with glass and reeds bought separately. Fragrance is an ambience decision like lighting or seating, with no health, therapeutic or clinical claim of any kind. It works alongside your ventilation, cleaning and clinical protocol, never instead of them, and SOSA products are not medical devices. Adjustment and treatment rooms stay unscented, staff must be able to stop the source within seconds, and the clinician's judgement overrides any plan. Ask for a clinic scenting plan and we will check the subtraction on your own drawing.

A note from Sonal
The first time I did this subtraction in front of a clinic owner, on a plan spread across a reception desk, I watched him get quietly annoyed with me. He had come to the conversation with 750 square feet in his head and a machine already chosen. We crossed off four cabins, a store and a washroom, and the number that was left was 300. He said it felt like a downgrade. It is not a downgrade. It is the first accurate figure anybody had given him.
What makes this size specific is that the cabins are the majority of the building. Below it, the treatment room is a corner of a single volume. Above it, the patient-facing zone starts to grow faster than the cabin count. At 750 with four rooms, more than half your lease is on the zero list, so the subtraction is doing more work here than anywhere else on the ladder, and the answer comes out smaller than the one before it in a way that looks like a mistake and is not.
So this page ends at a bottle, on a floor plan that looks like it should end at a machine. We make no health, therapeutic or clinical claim of any kind and no claim that scenting affects bookings, retention or spend. Fragrance is an ambience decision, like lighting or seating. Treatment rooms stay unscented, staff must be able to stop the source in seconds, and the clinician's judgement overrides any plan. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
What is the scented volume of a 750 sq ft clinic with four treatment rooms?
About 85 cubic metres. Four cabins at roughly 90 sq ft each is 360, and a store, washroom and staff corner take another 90, leaving around 300 sq ft of reception, waiting area and corridor. Convert with 300 × 3.05 × 0.0929 and you get 85. Redo it with your own ceiling height, because a 4 metre ceiling lifts the same floor to about 111.
Do more treatment rooms mean I need more fragrance?
The opposite. Every additional cabin takes floor area out of the scented volume, so a clinic with five cabins is a smaller scenting job than the same clinic with three. Cabin count is a subtraction, never an addition. This is the single most common misreading of a floor plan I see at this size, and it costs people around ₹11,999 when it goes unchecked.
Should I put a second bottle halfway down the corridor?
I would not. The corridor is the thin end of the reception volume rather than a room of its own, and a second source in one connected space produces two gradients that compete instead of one level you can describe. If the far end is faint, move the single source toward the corridor mouth first. That correction is free and it is usually enough.
Is a 130ml bottle better than a 50ml one at this size?
For duration, yes. A 50ml runs 6-8 weeks and a 130ml runs 14-18, so the larger bottle is about reorder frequency in a clinic where nobody has time to think about it. It is not about reach - both bottles present the same reeds to the same room and put out at the same rate for the same reed count.
What would change the answer for a clinic of this size?
A much higher ceiling, a reception that is genuinely open to a rehab floor, or a written requirement to stop the source at set hours. The first two raise the cubic figure, sometimes sharply. The third is a control requirement rather than a coverage one, and it is answered at ₹1,899 rather than ₹11,999.
Printed purely as a scale marker: the SOSA Angaan at ₹25,999 is rated to 3,000 cubic metres, roughly thirty-five times the scented air in a clinic of this shape.

Facts verified 24 August 2026 against the live SOSA product pages: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, described by the manufacturer as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with a 400ml refillable tank lasting 90+ days depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and onboard button control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, operation under 38dB, DC 12V/1A at 5W (roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month on a ten-hour daily schedule), freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, auto-stop and key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification. Being waterless, it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces or equipment. The SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) is an HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft, with an 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules and operation under 42dB, and also runs standalone wall-mounted or lay-flat. Ambient scent is an interior and hospitality decision: it works alongside proper ventilation, cleaning and clinical protocol and is not a substitute for any of them, it is not a medical device, and SOSA makes no health, therapeutic or treatment claim of any kind and no claim that fragrance affects bookings, retention or spend.
