A bedroom quietly reverses all of that. It is the smallest volume in the house, it has a door that stays shut, it is full of the most absorbent things you own — a mattress, a duvet, pillows, curtains, a rug — and nobody is walking through it moving the air around. Dose, timing, and a caution for the bedside
Start at two drops in a Boond for a bedroom under 150 sq ft, or three in a Sukoon on low for something larger. That is deliberately below the general 3–6 guidance, because a closed room with a lot of bedding in it concentrates rather than disperses. The honest way to calibrate is to leave the room for ten minutes and walk back in — if the scent is obvious at the door, it is correct; if it is obvious while you are lying in bed, it is at least one drop too much.
Use the timer rather than running it all night. Two hours before bed, finishing as you go up, gives you a scented room to walk into and a gently faded one to sleep in — which is also better for the machine and much better for the humidity. If your bedroom is air-conditioned and dry, an overnight run on the lowest setting is defensible; in a Mumbai or Kochi monsoon it is not, because these are water-based ultrasonic fragrances and they add moisture to a room that already has plenty.
The caution: ultrasonic mist is water and it settles wherever it lands.
