Fragrance ladders well, and it ladders for a reason worth stating out loud: the rungs are differences in what is in the box, not differences in how you have decided to read the customer standing in front of you. One bottle, two bottles, three travel sizes, nine. That is a ladder anybody can defend at the desk, and it keeps every step inside one category, so your handover script stays the same sentence with a different object in it.
The second rung, and the reason the ladder never leaves the category. SOSA Car Perfume Discovery Set, three travel-size mini sprays, ₹699 to ₹899, in eight fixed curated trios - a chosen-to-order set is not offered. Below it, one 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509; above it, a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
Can a dealership run different delivery gifts for different cars without leaving one category? Yes. SOSA car perfume runs from one 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509, to a two-scent combo at ₹899 or ₹949, to a Discovery Set of three travel-size mini sprays at ₹699 to ₹899, to a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Same category, four rungs.
What should decide which tier a customer gets? The step should be set by what is in the box and by a rule you can write down - an invoice band, a model line, a launch. It should never be set by a guess about the customer. A scale that sorts people instead of objects is a scale somebody at the desk will eventually have to defend out loud.
Can we assemble our own set of three scents for the top tier? No. The eight Discovery trios are fixed and published as they are, from Everyday Fresh at ₹699 to Premium Explorer at ₹899. A chosen-to-order trio is not offered. What is offered is custom label or logo on product, and there is no printed box, sleeve or insert.
The short answer
Short answer: Yes. The rungs are one 12ml bottle at Rs 449 to Rs 509, a two-scent combo at Rs 899 or Rs 949, a fixed Discovery trio of three travel-size mini sprays at Rs 699 to Rs 899, and a Pack of 9 at Rs 2,999. Tier by what is in the box, never by an assumption about the customer. No bulk rate is published; quantities go to WhatsApp on +91 96192 18531.
The pick: A two-rung ladder: one 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509 as the standard handover, and a fixed Discovery trio from ₹699 as the second step.
Why: Both rungs are the same category, so the desk script never changes. The difference the customer can see is the number of bottles in the box, which needs no explaining.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We want different delivery gifts for regular customers and for buyers taking our premium models, while keeping everything inside the automotive category. Can car fragrance be tiered that way?
Yes, and the ladder already exists on the store rather than being assembled for you. SOSA car perfume starts at one 12ml bottle, ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver, each sold as Spray (Strong scent-throw) or Hanging (Mild scent-throw) at the same price. The step above it is the Discovery Set: three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 at the top. Between those sit the two-scent combos at ₹899 and ₹949. Now the part that decides whether this works in practice. Set the rung by what the customer receives and by a written rule - a model line, an invoice band, the trim - and never by a reading of the person. A desk that sorts objects is running a policy; a desk that sorts people is running a judgement it will have to defend. Two other things you need before committing. The eight trios are fixed and a chosen-to-order set is not offered. And SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is the single branding option, with no printed box or sleeve. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A tier the customer can count is a tier nobody argues with. One bottle, two bottles, three - that is a ladder made of objects, not of assumptions.
The two-rung version most desks end up with: the 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509 as standard, and the fixed Discovery trio from ₹699 as the step above it. Same category, same script.
How to build a two-step or three-step ladder without leaving the category
Three things to settle: what the rungs are, what sets the rung, and what SOSA will not do for you at the top of the ladder.
1
The rungs
The ladder, in order, and what visibly changes at each step
Start at the bottom and read what the customer physically receives, because that is the only thing a tier can honestly be built from.
One 12ml bottle, ₹449 to ₹509. Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Each is published as Spray (Strong scent-throw) or Hanging (Mild scent-throw) at the same price, so moving between the forms is a change of control, never a change of rung.
A Discovery Set, ₹699 to ₹899. Three travel-size mini sprays in one box: Everyday Fresh ₹699, Summer Drive ₹749, Nature Collection ₹749, Citrus Escape ₹799, Woody Collection ₹799, Signature India ₹799, Luxury Discovery ₹849, Premium Explorer ₹899. Three objects instead of one is a step a customer can see across the counter without anybody describing it.
A two-scent combo.Jasmine with Lemon and Jasmine with Lavender at ₹899; Oud with Lemon and Sandalwood with Oud at ₹949. Each combo is sold as Spray or Hanging at one price. It reads as a pair rather than as a collection, which is a different kind of gesture from the trio at a similar figure.
Pack of 9, ₹2,999. All the car perfume sprays together, and the honest top of the ladder for a single handover that has to feel like an event.
Tip: Four rungs, all one category, and every step is visible without a word of explanation.
2
The rule
Tier by what is in the box. Never by what you think of the buyer.
This is the part that decides whether a tiered gift survives contact with a showroom floor, and it is worth being blunt about. A tier must be set by something written down: the model line, the trim, an invoice band, a launch week, a first-time buyer, a fleet order. Anything written down can be shown to a customer who asks, and anything that can be shown is a policy.
The alternative is a desk that decides, in the moment, what somebody looks like they deserve. That is not a scale, it is a guess, and it produces exactly the conversation you do not want in a showroom on a Saturday. Nothing about a car tells you anything about the person collecting it - not the trim, not the finance structure, and certainly not what they are wearing. So keep the reading out of it and let the rule do the work.
A practical consequence. Write the rule so a customer could hear it without flinching. "Every delivery gets a bottle; the launch models get the trio" is a sentence anybody can say out loud. A rule you would rather not explain is a rule that will eventually have to be explained.
And one more, because it removes an argument before it starts: the spray and the hanging bottle are the same price, so never let the two forms become the two tiers. If somebody at the desk starts offering the spray as the step up, the price list contradicts them immediately.
3
The limits
The trios are fixed, the branding is one thing, and no rate is published
The eight Discovery trios are fixed. They are published as eight named sets and that is the whole list. A chosen-to-order trio is not offered, so do not design a top tier around assembling three scents of your own - it is not a product. Pick the published trio nearest your intent: Signature India for a launch, Woody Collection when the scent should read warm, Everyday Fresh when it should read easy.
Branding is exactly one thing: custom label or logo on product. That is genuinely available and it is the whole of it. There is no printed box, no sleeve, no insert card, no ribbon and no assembled gift box, so if your upper rung needs presentation around the object, that part is yours to arrange rather than SOSA's to supply.
And no rate is published. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit figure anywhere, for any rung. That is not a negotiating stance, it simply does not exist on a page, and a tier table that quotes you one is inventing it. Bulk orders are welcome - take your monthly volume, your split between the rungs and your label artwork to WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531, and settle it there.
The last limit is the honest one. A richer tier is a bigger object, and that is all anybody can tell you about it. SOSA publishes no data on what a gift does next and cannot tell you that a larger gift makes customers recommend you. Write the ladder because it is coherent and defensible, not because a supplier promised you an effect.
Tip: Fixed trios, label-only branding, no published rate. Everything else is a conversation.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
Setting up a two-tier delivery gift without leaving the category
Write the rule first: model line, trim or invoice band. Never a read of the buyer.
Standard rung: one 12ml bottle at Rs 449 to Rs 509, in either form.
Upper rung: a fixed Discovery trio from Rs 699, or the Pack of 9 at Rs 2,999.
Take the split and your label artwork to WhatsApp. No rate is published.
The SOSA principle
A gift tier is only ever as good as the sentence you would say to the customer who did not get the bigger one. Objects give you that sentence. Assumptions about the buyer do not, and they are the reason most tiered gift programmes quietly collapse.
Which is why a ladder built from one bottle, three bottles and nine survives a showroom floor better than any scheme that sorts the people in it.
Which scents belong on which step, and which are fixed
Which scent on which rung, and the answer is less about grandeur than people expect. For the standard rung pick the ones least likely to be actively disliked by somebody who did not choose them: Jasmine at ₹449, soft and floral, and Lemon at ₹499, bright and clean. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle and reads as considered without being loud. For the upper rung the fixed trios do the work for you: Woody Collection at ₹799 is Sandalwood, Vetiver and Oud; Signature India at ₹799 is Orange Blossom, Sandalwood and Jasmine; Premium Explorer at ₹899 is Orange Blossom, Oud and Vetiver. Oud at ₹509 is rich and woody and divides opinion, which is why it works better inside a trio than alone. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
The SOSA gift edit
Four ways to build the ladder, and where each one breaks
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
One bottle, then a fixed trio · ₹449 to ₹509, then ₹699 to ₹899
The cleanest two-step: one object against three, in one category, needing no explanation at the desk. It fails if you wanted the two rungs to look dramatically different - three mini sprays read as more, not as another class of thing.
One bottle, then the Pack of 9 · ₹449 to ₹509, then ₹2,999
The widest visible gap available inside the category, and the honest choice when a handover has to feel like an event. It fails on cost discipline the moment the upper rung stops being rare, so the written rule has to be tight.
A two-scent combo as the middle rung · ₹899 to ₹949
A pair rather than a collection, which suits a couple collecting a car together. It fails as a third rung beside the trio - at a similar figure the customer sees two objects instead of three, and the ladder stops reading as a ladder.
Spray for one group, hanging for another · not a ladder at all
Tempting because the two forms feel different in the hand. It fails immediately: they are the same product at the same price, so this is not a step up, and the published price list contradicts anybody at the desk who says it is.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
Two things sit beside the ladder rather than on it. A 50 ML Car Perfume Spray at ₹1,499 exists for every scent and is a larger bottle rather than a richer presentation, which makes it a poor visual step at a handover even though it costs more than a trio. 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 exist too, and read them carefully: they refill the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published. Further up, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, imported rather than made in India. It is a genuine object for a chauffeured cabin and it is several times the price of a trio, which makes it a different decision rather than a higher rung.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
Build the ladder out of what goes into the customer's hands. The moment a tier starts describing the customer instead of the box, somebody at your desk has to defend it, and they will not enjoy it.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Can car fragrance genuinely support two delivery gift tiers?
Yes, and the rungs are published rather than invented. One 12ml bottle is Rs 449 to Rs 509, a two-scent combo is Rs 899 or Rs 949, a Discovery Set of three travel-size mini sprays is Rs 699 to Rs 899 across eight fixed trios, and the Pack of 9 is Rs 2,999. Everything stays inside one category, so the handover script is the same sentence with a different object in it.
What should set which tier a customer receives?
Something written down: the model line, the trim, an invoice band, a launch week. A written rule can be shown to anyone who asks, which is the whole point of having one. Setting the rung by an impression of the person at the desk is not a scale, it is a judgement made in the moment, and it is the version that causes trouble on a busy Saturday.
Can we put together our own trio of three scents for the top tier?
No. The eight Discovery Sets are fixed and published as named trios, from Everyday Fresh at Rs 699 to Premium Explorer at Rs 899. A chosen-to-order set is not offered. Pick the published trio closest to your intent instead, and note that custom label or logo on product is available while printed boxes, sleeves and insert cards are not.
Is there a published figure for a dealership ordering every month?
There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit figure published anywhere, for any rung of this ladder. Bulk orders are welcome and the conversation happens on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Go in with your monthly volume and the split you want between the rungs rather than asking for a list that does not exist.
Does the larger tier do more for our business than the smaller one?
Nobody can tell you that. SOSA publishes no data on what a gift does to customer behaviour and will not claim a bigger box produces a different outcome. What is knowable is what the customer receives: one bottle, or three, or nine, all of them usable in the vehicle. Build the ladder because it is coherent and because you can explain it, which is a better reason than a promise.
Take the next step
Pick two rungs, write the rule, then settle quantities on WhatsApp
One 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509 as the standard handover, spray or hanging at the same price. A fixed Discovery trio from ₹699 as the visible step above it, or the Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 when a handover has to feel like an event. No bulk rate is published, so bring your monthly volume and the split between rungs instead - custom label or logo on product is available.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.
