They Say They Only Like Florals. Is a Discovery Set Better Than One Experimental Bottle?

By Sonal Sahani · ISIPCA Versailles 12 min read Updated September 2026
"I only like florals" is a sentence people say with real conviction, and it is usually true about everything they have worn. What it is not is a survey. Somebody who has bought florals since they were nineteen has generally not tested the alternatives and rejected them - they found something acceptable early and stopped looking, which is a completely reasonable way to live and a poor basis for a gift. So the question in front of you is not whether to respect the stated preference. It is whether to spend the whole budget inside it, spend the whole budget outside it, or spend it on finding out - and only one of those three is a decision you are qualified to make on somebody else's behalf.
SOSA Nawaab attar, white royal oud sandalwood and tobacco leaf, from Rs 399
SOSA Nawaab · white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf · 3ml, 6ml or 12ml from ₹399 →
The bottle nobody buys as a first experiment, and the reason a small size exists. Nawaab is white royal oud with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, published as the deepest of the four, at ₹399 in 3ml, ₹699 in 6ml and ₹1,199 in 12ml. In a 3ml that is roughly 60 wears at one dab - enough to settle an opinion without a 12ml riding on it. It is one of the three in the SOSA Attar Trio with Ameeri and Mastani.
Quick answers — read this first
Is a discovery set better than one experimental full-size bottle? It depends on who is carrying the risk. One large bottle in an untested direction puts the entire budget on a single guess made by somebody who is not going to wear it. The SOSA Attar Trio at ₹1,055 for 3 x 3ml puts three different directions on their skin instead, and a 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab - enough wearing to form a settled view rather than a first reaction.

What are the three directions in the box? Mastani - night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka. Ameeri - Taif rose and Persian saffron over Indian sandalwood, with a measured oudh, amber and white musk. Nawaab - white royal oud with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, published as the deepest of the four. For somebody who wears florals, that is one familiar, one adjacent and one genuinely unfamiliar.

Can the set be adjusted if they have never worn oud? No. The SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - in a single size across all three bottles, at ₹1,055, ₹1,859 or ₹3,189. Adaa is the fourth attar, sold on its own from ₹379, and cannot be substituted into the box. Any other three, or three different sizes, means individual bottles at full price.
The short answer
Short answer: A stated preference that has never been tested against a field is a starting point rather than a verdict. Three small bottles settle it; one large bottle in an untested direction just relocates the guess. The SOSA Attar Trio is Rs 1,055 in 3 x 3ml - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, fixed, with roughly 60 wears in each 3ml. What they conclude is not something SOSA publishes.
The pick: The 3 x 3ml trio at ₹1,055 - one familiar direction, one adjacent and one unfamiliar, with enough of each to reach a real conclusion.
Why: The budget is the same either way; what changes is who makes the call. Roughly 60 wears in a 3ml is what turns three small bottles into three genuine trials rather than three samples.
You know what they wear. That is a starting point, not an answer.Three to smell - the published Attar Trio, ₹1,055 in 3 x 3mlOne to commit to - a single 12ml attar, ₹1,149 to ₹1,199The trio is always the same three, always one sizeNever - a promise about what they will like
Knowing somebody's signature fragrance is more information than most gift buyers have, and it still does not answer the question, because the next bottle is not the same bottle. What three small attars buy you is evidence rather than a guess - three things to put on skin over a week. What the published trio is not is a set you assemble: it is one fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. And no page can tell you what anybody will make of any of them.
Straight answer
Someone I know says they only like floral perfume, but they have never really explored other fragrance families. Would a discovery set be a better gift than a single experimental full-size bottle in a direction they have never worn?
Yes, and the reason is about risk rather than generosity. Both options cost roughly the same. What differs is who makes the decision and what happens if it is wrong. A single full-size bottle in an untested direction is one guess, made by you, funded entirely, with no way back inside the gift - and the person best placed to make that guess has never smelled the alternatives either. Three small bottles do not make a better guess; they end the guessing, because they move the decision to the only person whose opinion settles it. The SOSA Attar Trio is ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought one at a time. It contains Mastani - night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka, which for a floral wearer is the recognisable end of the box; Ameeri - Taif rose and Persian saffron over Indian sandalwood with a measured oudh and amber, rose-led but warm; and Nawaab - white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, published as the deepest of the four and the genuine departure. The figure that makes this work is roughly 60 wears in a 3ml at one dab, which is enough to wear something to work on an ordinary Tuesday rather than sniff it once. Published wear is 6 to 8 hours per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, with the drydown developing after the first thirty minutes. Two limits, stated plainly. The trio is a fixed set - nobody picks the three, all three bottles come in one size, and Adaa is not part of it. It is published as an evening set of depth, warmth and floral, so if the florals they wear are bright and citrus-lit, Adaa on its own from ₹379 is the more honest purchase. And what they conclude at the end of the week is not something SOSA publishes any information about, which is exactly why the conclusion is theirs to reach. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
One bottle relocates the guess. Three small ones retire it, because the person wearing them is the one deciding.
The quick version when the preference has never been tested: the 3 x 3ml trio at ₹1,055 to hand the decision over, with roughly 60 wears in each bottle. 3 x 6ml at ₹1,859 or 3 x 12ml at ₹3,189 when all three are expected to be worn rather than sorted through. A single 12ml at ₹1,149 to ₹1,199 when you already know the direction and breadth would be wasted. Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani every time - Adaa is sold separately from ₹379.
The SOSA Attar Trio from ₹1,055

Why an untested preference is weaker evidence than it sounds

There is a version of this purchase that respects the stated preference and learns nothing, and a version that ignores it and gambles. Neither is the good option. These three things get you to the third one.

01
What the statement is evidence of
A preference formed without a field is a starting point, not a verdict
"I only like florals" almost always describes a search that ended early rather than one that was completed. Somebody settles on something acceptable, buys it again, and the repeat purchase gradually hardens into an identity - which is efficient, and which is why the sentence is said with such confidence. It is still a statement about what has been worn, not about what has been compared. That matters for a gift because it changes what the useful present is. Respecting the preference literally means buying a fourth floral, which is a restock. Overruling it means betting their wardrobe on your taste. Testing it is the third option, and it is the only one that produces information neither of you currently has.
Tip: Confidence is not the same as evidence, and repetition is not the same as a test.
02
What the box actually is
A fixed three, and the shape of it happens to suit this problem
The SOSA Attar Trio is one published combination: Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, with all three bottles in the single size you select - ₹1,055 for three 3ml, ₹1,859 for three 6ml, ₹3,189 for three 12ml. Nobody composes it and it cannot be recomposed; Adaa is the fourth attar and is bought on its own from ₹379. For a floral wearer the fixed shape is useful rather than restrictive: one bottle they can place immediately, one that is a step sideways, and one that is a long way from anything they own. A box of three florals would teach nothing and a box of three ouds would be a dare. This one spans the distance.
03
Why the size is the argument
Sixty wears is the difference between a trial and a sample
The reason a discovery format usually disappoints is that the quantities are too small to live with - a vial gets sniffed, approved of politely, and never worn. SOSA publishes a 3ml at roughly 60 wears at one dab, which is the figure that changes the argument. Sixty wearings is enough to put an unfamiliar direction on for a normal day, notice what it does after the first thirty minutes when the drydown develops, wear it again the following week, and arrive at a view that is not a shop-counter reaction. Three of those at ₹1,055 is a real body of evidence. SOSA publishes no wear figure for the 6ml or the 12ml, so nobody should be scaling that sixty up.
Tip: A sample gets an opinion. Sixty wears gets a decision.
SOSA Adaa attar, bergamot cardamom and jasmine sambac
The bottle the trio does not contain
Adaa, and why it matters to half these questions
SOSA publishes four attars. Three of them are in the trio and one is not. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk - is published as the lightest of the four and a daytime attar, and it is sold on its own at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. That matters because the trio page itself lists a reason not to buy the trio: it is an evening set of depth, warmth and floral, and somebody who wears bright, light, citrus-led fragrance is not the buyer for it. If what you know about their taste is that it is fresh, the honest route is Adaa rather than the box - and if you want Adaa alongside two others, that is three individual bottles at full price, because the trio cannot be recomposed.
See Adaa from ₹379 →
Work it out in this order
Four questions, in this sequence, and the answer falls out
  1. Ask what they have actually compared, not what they say they like.
  2. Decide who should make the call. If it is them, breadth beats depth.
  3. Check the family fits. This is an evening box; Adaa is the daytime one.
  4. Then size it: Rs 1,055 for three 3ml to test, Rs 3,189 for three 12ml to supply.
The SOSA principle
You are not qualified to overrule their taste and you gain nothing by confirming it. The third option is to hand them the comparison they never ran.
Which is why the smallest tier is the right one here rather than the cheap one - it is the size matched to the job.

What three small bottles buy that one large one cannot

The useful property of this box for somebody who has only ever worn florals is that the three bottles are spaced rather than clustered. Mastani at ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179 is the one they can place on first wearing - night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose at the top, with Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka underneath. Ameeri at ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165 is one step out: Taif rose still leads, but Persian saffron, Indian sandalwood, a measured oudh and amber turn it warm rather than fresh. Nawaab at ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199 is the departure - white royal oud with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, published as the deepest in the range, and nothing about it is floral. Familiar, adjacent, distant. That spacing is what makes the week produce an answer rather than three variations on the same one.

The SOSA gift edit
Four ways to spend it, and the risk each one is actually carrying
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
One full-size bottle in an untested direction The highest-variance purchase on this list. If the guess is right it is the best gift here; if it is wrong it is a large object with nowhere to go, and the guess was made by somebody who will not be wearing it. You are spending the whole budget to find out one thing.
A fourth floral, in the family they named The lowest-variance purchase, and the one that learns nothing. It respects the stated preference completely, which is another way of saying it confirms a search that stopped early. It will be used. It will also be indistinguishable from what is already there.
The SOSA Attar Trio, 3 x 3ml at ₹1,055 Familiar, adjacent and distant in one box at roughly 60 wears each, so all three get worn properly rather than sniffed. The limits are worth knowing: the three are fixed, and it is published as an evening set, so bright daytime florals are not what it covers.
A SOSA solid body perfume from ₹459 The other small worn format in the range, in 15g, and a reasonable low-commitment gift in its own right. It is one scent rather than three, so it settles nothing about direction, and SOSA publishes no wear figure for the solids at all - so there is less to reason from than with an attar.
SOSA Attar Trio, three bottles in one gift-ready box
What the three sizes actually buy you
3ml, 6ml or 12ml - and roughly sixty wears in the smallest
All three trio tiers contain the same three attars; the only variable is how much of each. ₹1,055 buys 3 x 3ml, and the published figure for a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab - which is the number that makes a discovery gift a real one rather than a set of samples, because it is enough to wear a scent on an ordinary Tuesday and not just sniff it in a shop. ₹1,859 buys 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 buys 3 x 12ml, the largest published size of each. Against the same bottles bought singly those are savings of ₹118, ₹204 and ₹354. The trio ships with all three bottles in the same size - there is no mixed-size set, and SOSA states that mixing sizes means buying the three individually and losing the trio price.

Practical points, because an attar is unfamiliar to plenty of people who have only ever used a spray. All four are alcohol-free and DPG-free, carried on Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, IFRA-compliant and hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained. Each bottle has a built-in dab applicator, and the published instruction is one dab on pulse points with no rubbing - worth passing on, because rubbing is the commonest way somebody new to the format ruins the first impression before the drydown has done anything. Attar oils can stain light silks, so skin rather than fabric. The three bottles come in a single gift-ready box, which is the whole of the published presentation; custom label or logo on product is the only branding option.

The fact that changes most of these questions
The trio is one published combination. You do not choose the three.
Almost every version of this question arrives phrased as a curation problem - which three directions should I pick for her? - and the honest answer is that the published SOSA Attar Trio is a fixed set: Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. Adaa, the lightest of the four, is not in it - SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar and sells it on its own. And the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size; SOSA's own page states that a different three, or three different sizes, means buying individually and losing the trio price. So the real decision is not which three. It is whether these three are the right three for what you already know about their taste - and where they are not, the page should say so rather than sell you the box. The prices are ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. What any of them does on a particular person, and what that person makes of being given them, is not something SOSA publishes and not something this page will invent.

Tell SOSA what they already wear, anything they have said they dislike, whether this is a first attar or an addition, and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which bottles, including the times the honest answer is Adaa on its own from ₹379 rather than the trio.

Nobody who has worn one family for a decade has rejected the others. They stopped looking - and a gift that restarts the search is worth more than one that ends it again.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every attar gift where you already know what they wear, and the first one is not price. Are you buying breadth or depth? Breadth means three bottles to put on skin over a week, which is what the published trio is for; depth means one 12ml in a direction you are already confident about. Then: does what you know about their taste sit inside what the trio actually contains? The trio is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - warm rose and saffron, white royal oud, and night-jasmine with Damask rose. It has no light, fresh or citrus-led bottle in it, because Adaa is the lightest of the four and is sold separately from ₹379. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Product What it is What it is for Price
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 3ml Three to smell, not one to guess ₹1,055 for Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani in 3ml each, against ₹1,173 bought singly. The published figure for a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab - enough to actually live with a scent rather than sniff it ₹1,055
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 6ml The middle size ₹1,859 against ₹2,063 bought singly. The same three attars; the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size ₹1,859
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 12ml Three full bottles ₹3,189 against ₹3,543 bought singly. The largest published size of each, in one gift-ready box ₹3,189
Adaa - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml The lightest in the range ₹379, ₹669 and ₹1,149. Bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk. Adaa is not in the trio - SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar and sells it separately from ₹379
Ameeri - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Warm, rose and saffron led ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, a measured oudh and amber from ₹385
Mastani - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Floral depth ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka from ₹389
Nawaab - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml The deepest in the range ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. White royal oud led, with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf. SOSA publishes this as the deepest of the four from ₹399
SOSA solid body perfumes - 15g Worn, and smaller still ₹459 to ₹549. The other worn format in the range. No wear-time figure is published for these, so this page does not give one from ₹459
SOSA reed diffusers A room, not a person From ₹749 in 50ml. Listed here only to rule it out: a reed diffuser scents a room and an attar is worn. They are not substitutes, and a fragrance-taste question is not answered by a bottle that sits on a shelf from ₹749

The single most useful fact on this page: the published Attar Trio is one fixed combination. It is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, every time, and all three bottles ship in the size you select. Adaa cannot be substituted into it, and there is no mixed-size trio - SOSA's own page says that if you want a different three, or three different sizes, you buy the bottles individually and the trio discount does not apply. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, a built-in dab applicator (dab on pulse points, do not rub), a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, and alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant formulations hand-blended in small batches in Pune. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than on fabric. Prices above are the published selling prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, with quantities settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA attar pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • The four attars and their prices - Adaa, bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk, ₹379 / ₹669 / ₹1,149; Ameeri, Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh and amber, ₹385 / ₹679 / ₹1,165; Mastani, night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka, ₹389 / ₹685 / ₹1,179; Nawaab, white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, ₹399 / ₹699 / ₹1,199. In 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. Those four are the entire attar range.
  • The trio - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani at ₹1,055, ₹1,859 and ₹3,189 for 3 x 3ml, 3 x 6ml and 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 bought singly. It is one fixed combination, all three bottles in the same size, and Adaa is not in it. A different three, or mixed sizes, means buying individually at full price.
  • Wear - 6 to 8 hours on skin per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, with the drydown developing after the first 30 minutes. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. That is the only quantity figure SOSA gives for an attar.
  • The format - a concentrated oil attar with a built-in dab applicator; dab on pulse points and do not rub. Carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba. Alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant, skin-safe, heat-stable to 45 degrees C, hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than fabric.
  • Relative depth, in SOSA's own words - Adaa is published as the lightest of the four and Nawaab as the deepest, with Ameeri and Mastani between them. That ordering is published; no number from any product page is quoted here, and no claim is made about how any of them behaves on a particular person.
  • Not published, and therefore never stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product; and anything whatsoever about what a recipient will like or how a gift will be received. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.

A note from Sonal

The message we get most often on WhatsApp is not what should I buy. It is a more specific and more interesting problem: I know exactly what she wears. I have known for years. I just cannot buy it again. That person is not short of information. They are short of a next step, which is a different thing entirely, and almost nothing written about fragrance gifting treats it as different.

Here is the part I would want them to hold on to. Knowing somebody's signature tells you where they started, not where they would go. A person who has worn one bottle for a decade has usually not rejected the alternatives - they have never had three of them on their own skin at the same time. So the useful gift is not a better guess at one bottle. It is evidence: several things to wear, on separate days, and the chance to notice which one they reach for without being asked to be polite about it.

The part I will be blunt about, because our own product page is blunt about it: the trio is one fixed set. Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, all three in whichever size you choose. It is not assembled around a person's taste, Adaa is not in it, and if somebody wears bright citrus and nothing else, that box is the wrong box - Adaa on its own is the honest answer, and it costs a great deal less. I would rather lose the larger sale than have three bottles sit unopened on somebody's dressing table.

And the thing nobody selling fragrance should pretend to know: I cannot tell you what they will like. I can tell you what is in each bottle, that one dab carries six to eight hours, that a 3ml is roughly sixty wears, and that all four are alcohol-free and blended here in Pune. What happens when a particular person puts a particular attar on a particular wrist is genuinely theirs to find out - and giving them three ways to find it out is, I think, the whole point.

Frequently asked questions

Is a discovery set really a better gift than one full-size bottle?
It depends on who should be deciding. A full-size bottle in a direction they have never worn spends the whole budget on a guess made by somebody who will not wear it. Three small bottles at Rs 1,055 spend the same money on three directions and hand the decision over. If you already know the direction with confidence, the single bottle is the better buy - a 12ml runs Rs 1,149 to Rs 1,199 depending on which attar.
Can I swap one of the three for something less adventurous?
No. The SOSA Attar Trio is a fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in one size across all three bottles. Adaa, the fourth and lightest attar, is not in it and cannot be substituted. If you want a different three, or three different sizes, you buy the bottles individually at full price and the trio price no longer applies.
Will three small bottles feel like a smaller gift than one big one?
That is a judgement about presentation rather than a fact anybody publishes. What is published: the three bottles come in a single gift-ready box, each 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab, and the 3 x 3ml trio is Rs 1,055 against Rs 1,173 for those same bottles bought one at a time. If size is the concern, the 3 x 6ml at Rs 1,859 and the 3 x 12ml at Rs 3,189 are the same three attars in larger bottles.
What if they try all three and go back to florals?
Then the gift did its job and the preference is now a tested one rather than an assumed one, which is worth something on its own. There is also a floral in the box: Mastani is night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose, over Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka. Nothing here predicts what they will conclude, because SOSA publishes no information of that kind about anybody.
They wear light, fresh florals. Is the trio still the right box?
Probably not, and SOSA says so on its own page: the trio is published as an evening set of depth, warmth and floral, with a stated reason not to buy it if you want something fresh, light or citrusy. The lightest attar in the range is Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and magnolia - at Rs 379 in 3ml, Rs 669 in 6ml and Rs 1,149 in 12ml, and it is bought on its own.

Decide who should be making this call, then buy accordingly
The 3 x 3ml trio at ₹1,055 when the honest position is that neither of you knows yet - three directions, roughly 60 wears each, and the decision moves to the person wearing them. 3 x 6ml at ₹1,859 or 3 x 12ml at ₹3,189 when all three are expected to be used rather than compared. A single 12ml at ₹1,149 to ₹1,199 when the direction is genuinely settled and breadth would be wasted. And Adaa from ₹379 when the florals in question are the bright, light kind, because the trio is published as an evening set.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the reasoning about how to buy fragrance for somebody whose taste you partly know applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: SOSA publishes four attars and one pack of three, and that is the entire attar range. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood - is ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. Ameeri - Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh, amber and white musk - is ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Mastani - night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka - is ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Nawaab - white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf - is ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. The SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - at ₹1,055 for 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 for 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 for 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. All three bottles in a trio ship in the same size and in a single gift-ready box. Adaa is not in the trio; SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar, sold separately, and the trio page states that a different combination or mixed sizes means buying individually without the trio price. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin; a drydown that develops after the first 30 minutes; roughly 60 wears in a 3ml at one dab; a built-in dab applicator, dabbed on pulse points rather than rubbed; a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba; alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant and skin-safe; heat-stable to 45 degrees C; hand-blended in small batches in Pune; country of origin India. Attar oils can stain light silks and are applied to skin rather than fabric. For comparison: SOSA solid body perfumes are ₹459 to ₹549 in 15g and are also worn, though no wear-time figure is published for them; SOSA reed diffusers from ₹749 scent a room rather than a person and are not an alternative to an attar. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; and any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product. Limits of this guide: no claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, sleep, headaches, sensitivity or wellbeing, in either direction. No claim is made about what any recipient will like. Nothing here states or implies that a named person will enjoy, prefer, adopt or be impressed by any fragrance, that a scent will suit them or become their signature, or that a gift will be well received; SOSA publishes no information of that kind and none is invented here. No third-party perfume, perfume house or brand is named, and no resemblance, alternative or dupe claim is made about any SOSA product. No rating, review count, strength score or customer name from any product page is cited, and no competitor or category of competing product is characterised. No statement is made about what any community, religion or family wears or gives, and no etiquette rule is presented as fact. No fragrance is assigned to a gender; SOSA publishes all four attars as wearable by anyone. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
