Does the plan change for a duplex or villa? The principle doesn't - only the scale. A duplex adds a second floor of bedrooms and a double-height void; a villa may justify a ducted Aangan for one whole-home signature. Same split, more rooms.
Can I combine ultrasonic and cold-air machines? Yes - it's the recommended setup. Cold-air Vaayu in the open areas, ultrasonic Sukoons in the bedrooms; each uses its own fragrance and they never interfere.
2. Put a big machine in the open zone. A Vaayu (₹11,999) for a standalone machine, or an Aangan (₹25,999) for a ducted whole-home signature.
3. Put a Sukoon in each bedroom. A Sukoon (₹1,799) per enclosed bedroom, each with its own Hotel Collection scent.
4. Keep fragrances in their right machines. Water-based drops in the Sukoons; waterless oil in the Vaayu or Aangan. Never swap.
5. Make it coherent. One public signature at the door, per-room scents behind doors, adjacent rooms in the same family so nothing clashes.

The one rule that covers every large home
Vaayu · large room₹11,999 Every large home - 4BHK, duplex or villa - is two kinds of space: an open common span (living, dining, kitchen, halls) and a set of enclosed bedrooms. Ultrasonic mist can't cross the open span, and the big machines are wasted on a single bedroom. So you match each zone to its machine: the Vaayu or Aangan for the open zone, a Sukoon for each room. Get this split right and the rest is detail.
Sukoon · the diffuser₹1,799 Bedrooms are enclosed, normal-ceilinged and 120-250 sq ft - textbook Sukoon spaces. One per bedroom means each person gets their own signature and dose: Old-World Glamour for the master, White Tea Serenity for restful rooms, Tea Garden for guests. The gentle humidity suits AC air, and the evening timer turns each room into a nightly wind-down.
Hotel Collection scentsFrom ₹299 The finishing touch is coherence. Let the open zone carry the public signature everyone meets at the door - Warm Welcome or Quiet Luxury - and let each bedroom vary within a family. Keep rooms whose doors face each other in the same scent family so nothing collides across a corridor. The home then reads exactly like a fine hotel: one lobby smell, a considered calm behind each door.
4BHK, duplex and villa, in depth
4BHK. The open living-dining-kitchen span is one Vaayu (₹11,999), and each of the four bedrooms is a Sukoon (₹1,799) - about five machines. If your living and dining are separate enclosed rooms rather than one open span, they become two Sukoons instead of a Vaayu. Start with the common area and the master, then add bedrooms one at a time.
Duplex. The twist is the second floor and the double-height living void. Scent falls through a staircase, so each floor's bedrooms need their own Sukoons, and the tall open living area takes a Vaayu that can fill the height. A typical three-bedroom duplex is four to five machines; don't rely on the stairwell to carry scent upward.
Villa. A villa is the one home where a single ducted Aangan (₹25,999) can scent everything with one signature through the HVAC - the true hotel model. If you'd rather a different scent behind each door, run the hybrid instead: a Vaayu in the open living areas and a Sukoon per bedroom. Both are the hotel effect; one is the lobby, the other is the suites.

Getting the fragrances right across the whole home
The two machine types take two fragrance formats, and keeping them straight is the only real rule. The Sukoon runs the water-based Hotel Collection - just 3-6 drops in the tank, rinsed between scents - while the Vaayu and Aangan run their own waterless oils made for cold-air and HVAC nebulising. Never put waterless oil in a Sukoon (it clogs the misting plate) or water-based drops in a Vaayu. Two formats on the shelf, each in its right machine.
For a coherent home, choose scents in related families across the zones. A Warm Welcome signature in the common areas sits happily beside white-tea bedrooms; a bolder Lobby Bar in the dining zone wants a little separation from calmer rooms. The 15ml Pack of 7 (₹1,799) is the easiest way to trial a scent for every room before you commit to full bottles - and a portion of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The 7 Hotel Collection scents
The whole point of the Sukoon is the scent you run through it. The Hotel Collection is seven of SOSA's own interpretations of the signatures great hotels are known for - pick by the room and the mood you want, try a 15ml first, then size up to the one you love. Frequently asked questions
Facts verified August 2026: An ultrasonic diffuser disperses a water-based fragrance as a cool micro-mist, scenting a room without heat or flame and adding a little humidity. Great hotels use commercial HVAC scenting to create a signature smell; at home the same effect comes from a diffuser plus a hotel-inspired blend. SOSA Sukoon is a 500ml ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser with a 7-colour mood light (₹1,799); Boond is a 300ml mini ultrasonic diffuser (₹799); both run the water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. The Hotel Collection comes in seven scents (Ritz-Carlton, Westin, 1 Hotels, St. Regis, Shangri-La, Four Seasons and W Hotels styles) in 15ml (₹299), 100ml (₹999) and 300ml (₹1,799), plus 15ml Pack of 7 (₹1,799); dose 3-6 drops per tank, use SOSA diffuser fragrance only (not raw essential/carrier oils), and rinse between scents. For large, open-plan or high-humidity spaces the waterless SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999, up to 1000m³) adds no humidity; the Aangan (₹25,999) is a whole-home HVAC system. The scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
