★ The two machines that size to a showroom's real zones
An 8,000 sq ft floor at 20 ft is about 4,500m³ - more than a Vaayu or an Angaan honestly covers, and that is before a single door opens Waterless and residue-free, under 38dB, sized to the rooms where customers actually stand still Made in India · independent, not affiliated with any hotel · a portion funds girl-child education

This is the single most common misunderstanding I hear from Ludhiana showroom owners, and it comes from a reasonable place: the floor is the biggest room, so surely it needs the biggest fragrance effort. The arithmetic says otherwise.
Quick answers — read this first
Why shouldn't I scent the entire display floor of my Ludhiana showroom? Two reasons. Vehicle doors are a huge, repeated air-exchange event that no diffuser can hold a level against, and a display floor built tall for effect is a volume problem - an 8,000 sq ft floor at 20 ft is about 4,500m3, well beyond what a SOSA Vaayu (1000m3, Rs 11,999) or even a SOSA Angaan (3,000m3, Rs 25,999) honestly covers.

How do I calculate the air volume of my showroom? Multiply length by width by ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3 to get cubic metres. An 8,000 sq ft hall at a 20 ft ceiling is roughly 4,500m3. Compare that to 1000m3 for one Vaayu or 3,000m3 for one Angaan before deciding what to scent.

If not the display floor, where should a showroom's scent machines go? In the rooms where a customer stands still: the customer lounge, consultation rooms and the vehicle handover bay, each sized separately by its own connected air volume, using a Vaayu (Rs 11,999) or an Angaan (Rs 25,999) depending on the zone.
The short answer
Short answer: because vehicle doors exchange enormous volumes of air and a tall display floor is a volume problem - an 8,000 sq ft hall at 20 ft is about 4,500m3, more than a SOSA Vaayu (1000m3) or SOSA Angaan (3,000m3) covers. Scent the lounge, consultation rooms and handover bay instead.
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) for the lounge and consultation rooms, and the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) for a larger handover bay on its own air handling - never a machine aimed at the display floor itself.
Next step: send us your floor plan and ceiling heights and we will do the cubic-metre arithmetic with you - book a free scenting plan.
The arithmetic a showroom floor actually needs8,000 sq ft floor x 20 ft ceiling / 35.3 = about 4,500m³Vaayu covers 1000m³Angaan covers 3,000m³Every vehicle door opening exchanges a large volume of that air againLounge, consultation and handover - sized separately - are the right target
Do the sum in cubic metres, not square feet: length x width x ceiling height / 35.3. An 8,000 sq ft hall at 20 ft is roughly 4,500m³ - more than four Angaan units would honestly cover, before a single door has opened.
The shortlist for lounge, consultation and handover - tap either machine
Straight answer
My showroom has huge doors opening for vehicles - why would scenting the entire floor be the wrong plan?
Two separate problems rule it out, and both are physical, not opinions. First, every vehicle door opening is a large, repeated air-exchange event - showroom air trades with outside air on a schedule you do not control, and no diffuser holds a level next to that. Second, a showroom built tall for display is a volume problem: work it out as length times width times ceiling height, divided by 35.3, to get cubic metres. An 8,000 sq ft floor at a 20 ft ceiling comes out to roughly 4,500m³. One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is rated to 1000m³. One SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) is rated to 3,000m³. Even the larger machine falls short of that floor on its own, and warm air rising to a tall ceiling carries scent up and away from anyone standing at eye level. The honest answer is not a bigger or a fourth machine - it is to stop targeting the floor and size the lounge, consultation rooms and handover bay separately, each on its own connected air volume. A free scenting plan will do this arithmetic against your actual floor plan, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
An 8,000 sq ft floor at 20 ft is about 4,500m3 - more than a Vaayu (1000m3) or an Angaan (3,000m3) covers. Scent the lounge and handover bay instead, not the floor.
Rather than one large machine chasing a display floor it cannot honestly cover, most Ludhiana showrooms are better served by a SOSA Vaayu in the lounge and consultation area - waterless, under 38dB, rated to 1000m³ - with a SOSA Angaan reserved for a genuinely large handover bay on its own HVAC.

The two machines that respect the arithmetic

Neither machine is sized for an 8,000 sq ft, 20 ft showroom floor, and neither should be asked to be. Both work well in the rooms a floor plan actually keeps still.

SOSA Vaayu
Customer lounge and consultation rooms
SOSA Vaayu
Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³ - about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. The right size for a lounge or consultation zone with its own settled air, never for an open display floor.

SOSA Vaayu
A second zone, split from the first
SOSA Vaayu (second unit)
Where the lounge and consultation area are on separate air conditioning, each connected volume gets its own machine rather than one unit stretched across both.
From ₹11,999
SOSA Angaan
A large handover bay on its own HVAC
SOSA Angaan
HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules, under 42dB. Only where that bay's air handling is genuinely separate from the main floor.
From ₹25,999
SOSA Vaayu
The machine sized for a settled room, not a moving floor
SOSA Vaayu Waterless Diffuser
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 400ml tank lasting up to 75 days, Bluetooth app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under 38dB, freestanding or wall and HVAC mount, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.

The arithmetic that rules out scenting the display floor

Three facts decide this, and none of them are opinions: how much air a vehicle door moves each time it opens, how many cubic metres a tall floor actually holds, and where warm air goes once it is scented.

1
Vehicle doors are an air-exchange event
Not a draught - a scheduled volume trade
Every time a service or display door opens for a vehicle, a large volume of conditioned, fragranced air trades places with the air outside. This happens repeatedly through the working day, on a schedule set by customers and logistics, not by you. No diffuser output competes with that, and trying to only means running a machine harder for no result near the doors.
Tip: the floor near a vehicle door will never hold a level - stop trying there.
SOSA Vaayu
Put the Vaayu instead in a room with a door that stays shut - the lounge or a consultation room.
See SOSA Vaayu →
2
A tall floor is a volume problem
Sq ft x ceiling height / 35.3 = cubic metres
An 8,000 sq ft floor at a 20 ft ceiling is roughly 4,500m³. One Vaayu covers 1000m³; one Angaan covers 3,000m³. Even the larger machine falls short of that floor alone - and warm indoor air rises toward a tall ceiling, carrying scent up and away from where people are actually standing, which wastes whatever reaches the floor at all.
SOSA Angaan
Reserve the Angaan for a genuinely large but separately air-handled zone, such as a handover bay - never the whole tall floor.
See SOSA Angaan →
3
Zone by connected air, not by square footage
The lounge, consultation rooms and handover bay each get their own number
Once the floor is off the list, the plan becomes simple: measure each room that has its own settled air - the lounge, each consultation room, the handover bay - and size a machine to that room's cubic metres. This is exactly the zoning the next post in this series works through room by room.
Tip: one machine per connected air volume, never per square foot of showroom.
SOSA Vaayu
A Vaayu per settled zone, scheduled to opening hours, is almost always enough once the floor is correctly excluded.
See SOSA Vaayu →
The SOSA principle
The instinct is to match effort to the biggest room. The physics says match it to the stillest room instead - air volume and door activity, not square footage, decide where fragrance can actually hold.
A display floor with vehicle doors is designed to move air. Fragrance needs air that stays put.
SOSA Angaan
For a genuinely large, separately air-handled zone: SOSA Angaan connects to that zone's own HVAC and scents up to 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - ₹25,999.

Vaayu or Angaan - and neither one for the floor

There is no version of this plan where a single machine, however large, is aimed at the display floor itself. The decision is only ever about which settled zone gets which machine.

Once you have stopped trying to scent the floor, the fragrance choice itself gets easier: a clean, restrained profile that holds up in an air-conditioned room without turning heavy or sweet. For the room-by-room zoning plan itself, read whether reception, the customer lounge and vehicle handover should be your three primary scent zones, and for the wider buying decision see the pillar guide to buying a commercial scent machine in Ludhiana.

The SOSA Ludhiana showroom zoning specification

One Vaayu per settled zone - lounge, consultation room - and an Angaan only for a genuinely large, separately air-handled bay. Never a machine aimed at the display floor. Both are waterless, made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

One honest limit worth repeating: no combination of SOSA machines is intended to scent an 8,000 sq ft display floor with a 20 ft ceiling and constant vehicle-door traffic, and no vendor should tell you otherwise. The right spend is smaller machines in the rooms that actually hold a fragrance. A free scenting plan will confirm the zoning against your floor plan.

A note from Sonal

The question makes sense on paper: my showroom has huge doors that open for vehicles, so surely the floor itself is the space to scent. In practice it is the opposite. Every time a vehicle door slides open to bring a car in or out, a large volume of showroom air trades places with the air outside - that is not a small draught, it is a scheduled, repeated, gigantic air-exchange event, and no diffuser holds a fragrance level next to one.

Then there is the ceiling. A showroom built tall for display purposes is a volume problem before it is anything else, and volume is measured in cubic metres, not square feet. The sum is simple: length times width times ceiling height, divided by 35.3. An 8,000 sq ft floor at a 20 ft ceiling comes out to roughly 4,500m³. One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is rated to 1000m³. One SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) is rated to 3,000m³. Even the Angaan, on its own, falls short of that floor - and warm indoor air rises toward a tall ceiling anyway, carrying scent up and away from where anyone is standing.

So the honest plan is not a bigger machine or more of them fighting a hall they cannot win. It is to stop trying to scent the floor at all, and put the Vaayu and Angaan where a customer actually stands still - reception, the lounge, the consultation rooms and the handover bay, each sized on its own connected air. The next post in this series covers exactly that zoning. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Why shouldn't I try to scent my entire showroom floor?
Because vehicle doors exchange large volumes of air every time they open, and a tall display floor is a volume problem measured in cubic metres, not square feet. An 8,000 sq ft floor at a 20 foot ceiling is roughly 4,500 cubic metres, more than a SOSA Vaayu (1000 cubic metres) or even a SOSA Angaan (3,000 cubic metres) honestly covers.
How do I work out the cubic metres of my showroom?
Multiply length by width by ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3. An 8,000 sq ft floor at 20 feet comes out to about 4,500 cubic metres. Compare that number to 1000 cubic metres for one Vaayu and 3,000 cubic metres for one Angaan.
Does a taller ceiling need a stronger scent machine?
It needs a bigger volume calculation, not simply a stronger machine. Warm air also rises toward a tall ceiling, carrying fragrance up and away from where people are standing, which is another reason a tall open floor is a poor target regardless of machine size.
Where should showroom scent machines actually go instead of the floor?
In rooms with settled air where a customer stands still: the customer lounge, consultation rooms and the vehicle handover bay, each sized separately as its own connected air volume.
Can I just use several smaller machines spread across the display floor?
No - several small machines on an open floor with constant door traffic each fight the same air exchange and produce uneven pockets rather than one even fragrance. The honest fix is to stop targeting the floor, not to add more units to it.
