The honest starting point is that you are right about the problem and probably wrong about the cause. The mug, the folder and the branded pen are not failing because they were cheap - plenty of expensive gifts fail the same way. They are failing because they have nowhere to live. They go into a bag, the bag goes into a cupboard, and the object never finds a surface it belongs on. So the useful question is not what to spend. It is which object has a place waiting for it, and there is exactly one room your customer is about to spend hours a week in that you already know the dimensions of.
An object with somewhere to live. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - published in two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). Nothing to fit, nothing to size to the model and nothing to explain. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
What kind of dealership gift does a customer actually keep using? One that has a place waiting for it. The car itself is the only space you know the customer will be in, so a gift that lives in the vehicle has a head start on anything that has to find a shelf. SOSA car perfume is ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, sold in two forms at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw).
Does a car perfume avoid the fate of a branded pen or mug? It avoids one specific failure, which is the gift that has no home. A 12ml bottle goes into a door pocket or onto a mirror and stays inside the vehicle. That is the mechanism, and it is all that is knowable. What it does to anything commercial is not published by SOSA and is not something this page will invent.
What can a fragrance supplier honestly say about what a gift does afterwards? Very little, and you should be suspicious of anyone who says more. SOSA publishes no data of any kind on what a gift does to customer behaviour. What is knowable is physical: an object goes into a vehicle and gets used there or it does not. Bulk quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The short answer
Short answer: Choose the object that already has a place to live, which for a new-car buyer is the vehicle. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, and the spray and the hanging bottle are the same price. SOSA cannot tell you that customers will remember you, because no such data is published.
The pick: The spray, at ₹449 to ₹509 - it lives in the car, it costs the same as the hanging bottle, and the customer decides when it happens.
Why: A gift is discarded when it has nowhere to go. This one has somewhere to go, and that is the only part of the argument anybody can actually stand behind.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We want customers to think of our dealership after the excitement of delivery is over, but most branded gifts are discarded or never used. Could a car perfume spray work?
It works on the part of the problem that is physical, and this page is going to be careful about the part that is not. The physical part first. A branded mug, folder or pen has to compete for a surface in a house that already has surfaces. A SOSA car perfume goes into the one space the customer has just committed to and will sit in several hours a week. It is published at ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, in two variants the store names plainly - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - and the two cost exactly the same, so the form is a question of control and visibility rather than budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Now the part this page will not pretend to. SOSA cannot tell you that customers will remember you. There is no published study, no survey and no figure behind that idea, and nobody selling you a gift is in a position to tell you otherwise. What is knowable is the mechanism - the object stays in the vehicle and gets used there - and what that is worth is a judgement you make, not a number anyone should be quoting at you. No bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no per-unit figure is published anywhere; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is the one branding option. Quantities go to WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The pen is not failing on price. It is failing on address - it has no place to live, and an object with no place to live gets put down once and never picked up again.
The default on this page: the spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - same price as the hanging bottle, no fitting, and it lives in the one space the customer just bought.
Why branded gifts get put down, and the one variable you actually control
Three things decide this, and the third one is the reason most pages about business gifting are worth less than they look.
1
The real cause
Objects are discarded for having no address, not for being cheap
Watch what happens to a delivery gift over the fortnight after it is handed over. It goes into the same bag as the paperwork. The bag is emptied onto a table. The paperwork is filed, and the object is left on the table because there is no obvious place it belongs. A week later somebody moves it into a drawer to clear the table. Nobody made a decision to reject it. It simply never found an address.
Price does not change that sequence. A more expensive desk object goes through exactly the same steps, slightly more slowly. What changes the sequence is whether the object has a defined place, and that place has to be somewhere the customer already goes without being reminded.
For a new-car buyer there is one such place and you have just handed them the keys to it. A door pocket, a glovebox and a mirror are all locations with nothing else competing for them. That is the entire structural advantage of this category, and it is worth being clear that it is a structural advantage and not a claim about how anybody feels.
Tip: The object that survives is not the dearest one. It is the one that has somewhere to be.
2
The form
Spray or hanging, and why the price list refuses to break the tie
Both forms of every 12ml scent are published at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way, Oud is ₹509 either way, and the store's own names describe the only real difference: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw).
So the decision runs on two things instead. Who decides when the scent happens. A spray does nothing at all until somebody reaches for it, which means the customer switches this gift on themselves. A hanging bottle begins the moment it goes on the mirror and carries on whether that morning called for it or not. And what stays visible. The mirror is the most looked-at object in a car interior, so a hanging bottle is a decision about someone else's cabin that you are making on their behalf.
For a gift, that leans towards the spray, and the reason is ownership rather than quality. The car is theirs. You do not know whether they want anything hanging in front of them and you do not know whether your scent is their scent. Handing over something they activate themselves is the version that does not impose. A page telling you the hanging bottle is the premium choice would be inventing a gap the price list flatly denies.
3
The refusal
The sentence this page will not write, and why that should reassure you
Here is the claim you were probably half-expecting to read, and it is not coming. SOSA cannot tell you that customers will remember you, will return to you, or will mention you to anybody. There is no published study behind that idea, no survey, no tracked figure and no case history, and a supplier that produced one for you would be producing it from nothing.
What can be stated is narrow and physical. The object goes into the vehicle. It is not model-specific, so it does not have to be matched to the car. It needs no fitting and no demonstration. If the customer likes the scent, they use it somewhere they spend real time; if they do not, it goes in the glovebox and costs them nothing to ignore. That is the whole of the mechanism, and everything past it is your commercial judgement rather than anybody's evidence.
Two other silences are worth knowing before you commit. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no per-unit figure - bulk orders are welcome and the conversation happens on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. And SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in either form, for any scent. The single exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, which publishes about 100 sprays in the 10ml at ₹549 and about 500 sprays in the 50ml at ₹1,499.
Tip: Go to WhatsApp with your monthly number. There is no rate card to read beforehand.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
Four steps before your next delivery day, in this sequence
Ask where the object will live. If there is no answer, it will be put down.
Pick the form on control, not price. Both are Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml.
Carry two or three scents. Eight choices at a handover desk is seven too many.
Take your monthly number to WhatsApp. No rate is published to read first.
The SOSA principle
The mug did not fail because it was cheap. It failed because your customer's house was already full of surfaces with things on them, and the mug arrived without an address.
A car is the one interior a new-car buyer has just emptied, and that is a fact about furniture rather than a claim about feelings.
Which scent to hand over, and the sentence this page will not write
Eight scents exist and a handover desk should not be carrying eight. Jasmine at ₹449 and Lemon at ₹499 are the two least likely to be actively disliked by somebody who did not choose them - one soft and floral, one bright and clean. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle and reads as considered rather than default. Lavender is also ₹479 and Icy Mint ₹489. Oud at ₹509 is rich and woody and people hold opinions about it, which makes it excellent for a customer you know and risky for one you do not. All of them are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. One thing worth saying plainly because several of these pages are read by people hoping otherwise: a car fragrance adds a scent. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify a smell, and it does not clean the air, so it is not a substitute for having the car properly cleaned before the customer sees it.
The SOSA gift edit
Four delivery-day gifts, and where each one stops working
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
The spray · ₹449 to ₹509
Lives in the vehicle, needs no fitting and nothing explained, and the customer decides when it is used. It fails when your delivery ritual needs an object that photographs like an event - a small sealed bottle is deliberately quiet, and that is the trade you are making.
The hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509
Present from the moment it goes on the mirror, visible, and toppable from a 15ml refill later. It fails when the customer would not have chosen it, because it occupies the single most looked-at spot in an interior that is not yours.
A branded mug, pen or folder · your current spend
Cheap to produce, easy to brand and genuinely useful at a desk. It fails on address: it goes home into a house with no empty surface waiting, and nobody ever consciously decides to stop using it.
A Discovery Set · ₹699 to ₹899
Three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, so the customer arrives at their own answer rather than accepting yours. It fails on cost discipline across every handover, and the trios are fixed - a chosen-to-order set is not offered.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
Three neighbours in the range are worth knowing so you do not find them later. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - the natural fit for a top-variant delivery rather than for every car. Two-scent combos start at ₹899. And 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 exist, but read that carefully: they refill the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published - a spray refill system is described as in development, which is not a product you can buy. Further up, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, which is a real answer for a chauffeur-driven fleet and far too much object for a delivery bay.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
I can tell you where the bottle goes and what it does there. I cannot tell you what your customer does next, and I would not trust a supplier who offered to.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Will giving a car perfume make customers think of our dealership later?
SOSA cannot tell you that customers will remember you, and no page here is going to imply it. There is no published study, survey or tracked figure behind that idea, and nobody selling you a gift has one either. What is knowable is the mechanism: a small sealed bottle goes into the vehicle, it needs no fitting or explaining, it works identically across every model you sell, and if the customer likes the scent they use it somewhere they spend hours a week. What that is worth to your business is your judgement.
Why do branded gifts get discarded, and does this one avoid it?
The common failure is that the object has no defined place to live once it reaches the customer's home, so it is set down once and quietly cleared away. A car fragrance avoids that specific failure because it belongs in the vehicle and the vehicle is the space the customer has just committed to. That is a structural point about where objects live and not a claim about what anybody feels or does afterwards.
What does SOSA car perfume cost if we hand one over with every car?
The published retail prices are Rs 449 for Jasmine, Rs 479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, Rs 489 for Icy Mint, Rs 499 for Lemon, and Rs 509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. Beyond those, no bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or per-unit figure is published anywhere and this page will not invent one. Bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Is the spray the dearer of the two versions?
No. They are two variants of one 12ml product at one price, published by the store as Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw. The choice is about who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin. Anyone describing one of them as the paid upgrade is describing a difference the price list does not contain.
Can we put our dealership name on the bottle?
Custom label or logo on product is available and that is the one branding option there is. There is no custom box, printed sleeve, insert card or assembled gift box, so any presentation built around the bottle is yours to arrange. Raise the label together with your quantities on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: every SOSA car fragrance is published in two forms of the same 12ml product - Spray, described on the store as strong scent-throw, and Hanging, described as mild scent-throw - and the two forms are the same price. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
