A multi-floor showroom is not automatically one machine per floor, and it is not automatically one machine for the whole building either. Here is the actual rule, the arithmetic behind it, and why a stronger single machine never substitutes for correct zoning.
Quick answers — read this first
How should a multi-floor jewellery showroom handle scent zoning? Zone by air handling, not by floor count. A floor sealed on its own independent air conditioning is its own zone and needs its own SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999). Floors joined by an open stairwell or atrium share one air volume and should be treated as a single zone, sized by adding their volumes together.
Does every floor of a multi-floor showroom need its own scent machine? Not necessarily. It depends on air handling, not on the number of floors. Two floors on separate, sealed AC systems each need their own machine; two floors open to a shared stairwell or double-height space are one connected volume and can often be served by one correctly sized machine or one Angaan on shared HVAC.
Can one strong scent machine cover a whole multi-floor showroom? No, not reliably. A single powerful unit on one floor of a genuinely multi-volume building only scents that floor strongly and leaves other, separately sealed floors untouched. The honest fix is to zone by where the air actually moves together, using the volume arithmetic, not to compensate with a stronger machine in one spot.
The short answer
Short answer: zone by air handling, not floor count - a floor sealed on its own AC is its own zone, needing its own SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999), while floors joined by an open stairwell or atrium share one air volume; do the arithmetic (sq ft x ceiling height / 35.3 = cubic metres) before deciding, and use a SOSA Angaan (Rs 25,999) where one HVAC system genuinely serves multiple floors.
The pick: a SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) per independently air-conditioned floor, or one SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) where floors share one HVAC system.

How should a multi-floor jewellery showroom handle scent zoning?
Zone by air handling, not by floor count. The question that decides everything is whether each floor is sealed on its own independent air conditioning, or whether floors are joined by an open stairwell, void or double-height atrium that lets air genuinely move between them. A floor sealed on its own AC is its own volume and needs its own SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999); two floors joined by an open connection are, for scenting purposes, one volume, and should be sized and treated as a single zone rather than two. Do the arithmetic before deciding anything: multiply the floor area in square feet by the ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3, to get cubic metres. A 2,000 sq ft floor at a 10 ft ceiling comes to roughly 566m³, comfortably within one Vaayu's 1000m³ rating; add connected floors together before comparing the total against that number, or against an SOSA Angaan's (₹25,999) 3,000m³ rating where the whole building shares one HVAC system. There is no shortcut through a single stronger machine: placing a powerful unit on one floor of a genuinely multi-volume building only scents that floor and leaves a separately sealed floor untouched, because the air simply is not moving between them. Where the building's air handling genuinely serves multiple floors from one central system, the Angaan on that system is usually the more honest choice than several small units fighting the same airflow. A free scenting plan will zone it from your floor plans and AC layout, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Zone by air handling, not floor count. Sealed floors on separate AC are separate zones; floors joined by an open stairwell or atrium are one shared volume.
A sealed floor on its own AC gets its own SOSA Vaayu - waterless, under 38dB, rated to 1000m³. Floors joined by an open stairwell or atrium are one shared volume, sized together against the same 1000m³ figure or against the SOSA Angaan's 3,000m³ where a central HVAC serves them.
A multi-floor showroom needs machines chosen by air volume, not by floor count. Both pictures link straight to the product page so you can check the specification before deciding.

How to zone a multi-floor showroom by air handling, not by floor count
Three steps decide the zoning plan: work out which floors are genuinely sealed from each other, do the volume arithmetic for each real zone, and choose per-zone Vaayu units or one shared Angaan accordingly.
1
Find the real air boundaries
Sealed AC is a boundary. An open stairwell or atrium is not
Walk the building and ask a single question at every floor junction: does air conditioning here stop at this point, or does an open stairwell, void or double-height space let air from this floor mix with the next one? A closed floor on its own split AC is a genuine boundary and its own zone. An open connection means the two floors are, for scenting purposes, one larger volume, whatever the floor plan suggests.
Tip: the floor plan tells you nothing about zoning on its own - the air handling does.
A Vaayu per genuinely sealed floor is the default once the real boundaries are mapped.
Square feet times ceiling height, divided by 35.3, gives cubic metres
For each real zone, multiply the floor area in square feet by the ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3. A 2,000 sq ft floor at 10 ft comes to roughly 566m³; a joined atrium spanning two floors at a combined 20 ft could easily exceed 1000m³ even on a modest footprint, because volume grows with height, not floor area alone. Compare the result against the Vaayu's 1000m³ rating or the Angaan's 3,000m³.
Where a joined volume exceeds what one Vaayu can honestly cover, an Angaan on the shared HVAC is the more honest step up.
Never substitute a stronger machine for correct zoning
A powerful unit on one floor does not reach a separately sealed floor
It is tempting to solve a multi-floor problem by buying one bigger machine and placing it centrally. That does not work if the floors are genuinely sealed from each other - the fragrance simply cannot cross an air-conditioning boundary it has no airflow path through. Each real zone needs its own correctly sized machine; a shared HVAC system, where one genuinely exists, is the only case where one larger unit legitimately covers more than one floor.
Tip: a stronger machine cannot cross an air-conditioning boundary - only shared airflow can.
Size each sealed floor's own Vaayu independently, rather than hoping one unit reaches further than its air can carry it.
The mistake is zoning by floor plan. The showroom's air does not know how many floors the architect drew - it only knows where the air conditioning actually stops.
A stairwell can quietly turn two floors into one large room, for scenting purposes, long before anyone notices it on the drawings.
For floors that share one HVAC system: SOSA Angaan connects to the building's air handling and scents up to 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - across genuinely connected floors, ₹25,999.
One zone per shared air volume - never one zone per floor by default
One table, decided by air handling rather than floor count: sealed floors get their own Vaayu each, connected volumes get sized together, and a shared HVAC system gets one Angaan instead of several small units fighting the same air.

Your situation
What it needs
A floor sealed on its own independent AC, up to about 1000m³
One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) for that floor alone. View →
A second floor, also sealed on its own independent AC
A separate SOSA Vaayu for that floor, same fragrance, its own schedule. View →
Two floors joined by an open stairwell or void
Add both volumes together and size as one connected zone, not two. View →
Multiple floors genuinely sharing one central HVAC system
One SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) on that system, up to 3,000m³, instead of several small units. View →
A multi-floor showroom's real zoning map is drawn by its air conditioning, not by its architect - and a stairwell can join two floors into one large room long before anyone thinks to ask.

Built to be sized correctly
Rated coverage in cubic metres, so the arithmetic tells you the plan rather than guesswork
Two machines, chosen by where the air actually moves together. A sealed floor gets its own Vaayu; a genuinely shared HVAC system gets one Angaan instead of several units competing for the same air. Both waterless, under 38dB or 42dB, and made in India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A quick word on the method: always find the real air boundary first, do the cubic-metre arithmetic second, and choose the machine last. Reversing that order - buying a machine first and hoping it reaches - is the single most common zoning mistake in a multi-floor store. A free scenting plan will do the zoning from your floor plans and AC layout.

A note from Sonal
A multi-floor jewellery showroom is not automatically a two-machine or three-machine problem, and it is not automatically a one-machine problem either. The zoning question is answered by air handling, never by counting floors. Two floors that are each sealed on their own independent air conditioning are two separate volumes and need their own machines. Two floors joined by an open stairwell or a double-height atrium are, for scenting purposes, one volume, because the air genuinely moves between them.
The arithmetic is simple and worth doing on paper before buying anything: multiply the floor area in square feet by the ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3, to get cubic metres. A 2,000 sq ft floor at a 10 ft ceiling is roughly 566m³ - well inside one SOSA Vaayu's (₹11,999) 1000m³ rating. Where a stairwell or atrium joins that floor to another, add the volumes together before deciding how many machines you need.
There is no shortcut here through a stronger single machine. A powerful unit placed on one floor of a genuinely multi-volume building does not solve the other floor's air - it just makes one floor smell strongly and leaves the rest unaddressed. Where the whole building is on one central HVAC system, an SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) on that system is often the more honest answer than several small units. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
How should a multi-floor jewellery showroom handle scent zoning?
Zone by air handling, not by floor count. A floor sealed on its own independent air conditioning is its own zone. Floors joined by an open stairwell or atrium share one air volume and should be sized and scented as a single connected zone instead of two separate ones.
Does every floor need its own scent machine?
Not necessarily. It depends on whether each floor is genuinely sealed from the others by independent air conditioning. Sealed floors each need their own machine; floors that share airflow through an open connection can often be served as one zone, sized by their combined volume.
How do you calculate the cubic metres of a showroom floor?
Multiply the floor area in square feet by the ceiling height in feet, then divide by 35.3. A 2,000 sq ft floor at a 10 ft ceiling comes to roughly 566 cubic metres, which fits within one SOSA Vaayu's 1000 cubic metre rating.
Can a single strong machine cover a whole multi-floor showroom?
No, not reliably. A powerful unit on one floor cannot cross an air-conditioning boundary into a separately sealed floor, because the fragrance has no airflow path to travel on. Each genuinely sealed zone needs its own correctly sized machine.
When does a multi-floor showroom need a SOSA Angaan instead of several Vaayu units?
When the floors genuinely share one central HVAC system, so the air is already moving between them. In that case, one Angaan on that shared system is usually the more honest and effective choice than several small units competing for the same airflow.
The arithmetic that decides it: Sq ft times ceiling height, divided by 35.3, gives the cubic metres each zone actually needs covered.
