There is no single number, and anyone who gives you one is guessing. How long a bottle of diffuser fragrance lasts depends on how many drops you use and how often you run the diffuser. But I can give you honest ranges, the maths behind them, and the size that makes sense for how you actually live.
Quick answers — read this first
How long does one bottle last? It depends on your dose, but a 15ml gives many fills, while 100ml and 300ml last months of daily diffusing.

How long does one fill scent a room? A tank of water with a few drops scents a room for as long as the diffuser runs - typically a few hours, or longer on an intermittent setting.

Which size is best value? The 300ml at ₹1799 has the lowest cost per ml and is the daily-use choice; 15ml ₹299 is the try-a-scent size.
The short answer
Bottle life: 15ml = many fills; 100ml ₹999 and 300ml ₹1799 = months of daily use.
Per fill: A tank scents the room for as long as it mists, usually a few hours per fill.
Driver: Drops per fill and how often you run it - fewer drops and intermittent mode stretch a bottle.
Best value: 300ml ₹1799 is the lowest cost per ml for everyday diffusing.
Hotel Collection value by size (illustrative)300ml ₹1799 — best value, ~₹6/ml100ml ₹999 — the value bottle, ~₹10/ml15ml ₹299 — try a scent, ~₹20/ml
Illustrative only. A few drops per fill means even the 15ml lasts many uses; the 300ml is the lowest cost per ml for daily diffusing.
Straight answer
How long does diffuser fragrance last?
It depends on how many drops you use per fill and how often you run the diffuser, so there is no single figure - but here are honest ranges. A 15ml bottle of SOSA Hotel Collection, used at 3 to 6 drops per tank, gives you many full tanks - enough to live with a scent for weeks while you decide if it is your favourite. The 100ml and 300ml bottles last months of daily diffusing. Per fill, a tank of water scents the room for as long as the diffuser mists, which is usually a few hours on a continuous setting and considerably longer on an intermittent one.
Short version: a fill lasts hours; a 15ml lasts many fills; 100ml and 300ml last months.
If you diffuse daily, the 300ml is the value bottle. If you are still choosing among the seven hotel-inspired scents, start with a 15ml.

The honest maths on bottle life

Two numbers decide how long your fragrance lasts: drops per fill, and fills per week. Because the recommended dose is just 3 to 6 drops in a full tank of water, a small bottle goes a remarkably long way. If you run your diffuser most evenings at a moderate 4 drops, a 15ml bottle keeps you in scent for weeks, not days. That is the point of dosing by drops rather than pouring fragrance in - the scent is concentrated, and the water does the volume.

Scale that up and the value bottles make sense. The 100ml at ₹999 and the 300ml at ₹1799 are built for people who have found their scent and diffuse daily; at a few drops a fill, both last months. The 300ml has the lowest cost per ml, which is why I point daily users to it. There is no benefit to over-dosing to "use it up" - that just makes the room heavy and the bottle empty sooner. Stick to 3 to 6 drops and let the bottle last as it should.

Per fill is a separate question. One tank of water with your drops in it will scent the room for as long as the diffuser keeps misting. On a continuous setting that is typically a few hours until the water runs low; on an intermittent setting (mist a while, pause a while) the same tank stretches across a longer stretch of the day. The fragrance does not "run out" before the water - the two empty together, because the scent is carried on the mist.

How to make a bottle last longer

If you want to stretch a bottle without losing the experience, the levers are simple. First, dose at the low end - 3 drops in a small or well-held room is often all you need, and your nose stops noticing more than that anyway after a few minutes. Second, use an intermittent or timed mode if your SOSA diffuser has one; you get the same sense of a scented room using less water and fewer total drops across the day. Third, place the diffuser where the scent actually reaches you rather than chasing strength with extra drops - height and airflow matter more than dose, which is a thing most people learn the hard way.

A word on keeping the fragrance itself in good shape: store the bottle closed, out of direct sun and away from heat, and it will hold its character for a long time. And always use SOSA diffuser fragrance in a SOSA ultrasonic diffuser - it is water-based, IFRA-standard and phthalate-free, composed in Pune by an ISIPCA-trained perfumer specifically to mist cleanly. Raw essential and carrier oils are too thick, can clog the misting plate, and will cut a diffuser life far shorter than any bottle of fragrance.

One honest caveat worth stating: a diffuser scents and lightly humidifies a room. It does not purify the air. So "how long it lasts" is about the pleasure of the scent and the value of the bottle, not about any cleaning claim - because there is not one to make.

A note from Sonal

I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, and the one thing every great hotel taught me is that scent is the first thing you notice and the last thing you forget. I wanted to bottle that feeling for the home.

So the Hotel Collection is seven water-based diffuser fragrances, each my own interpretation of the style a famous hotel is known for - composed in our own lab, made to run cleanly through a SOSA ultrasonic diffuser. Please use the SOSA diffuser fragrance only; raw essential or carrier oils are thick and can clog the misting plate.

To be clear and honest: these are inspired interpretations, not the hotels' actual proprietary scents. SOSA is not affiliated with or endorsed by the hotels named - the names just describe the scent style. I would rather you knew exactly what you are buying: a perfumer's take on that hushed, expensive calm, at an honest price.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a 15ml bottle of diffuser fragrance last?
At 3 to 6 drops per fill, a 15ml SOSA Hotel Collection bottle gives many full tanks - enough to enjoy a scent for weeks. There is no fixed number because it depends on how often you diffuse and how many drops you use.
How long does one tank of water scent a room?
As long as the diffuser keeps misting - usually a few hours on a continuous setting, and longer on an intermittent or timed mode. The fragrance and the water run out together.
Which bottle size lasts longest and is best value?
The 300ml at ₹1799 lasts longest in daily use and has the lowest cost per ml. The 100ml ₹999 is the mid value bottle; the 15ml ₹299 is for trying scents.
Does using fewer drops make my fragrance last longer?
Yes. Dosing at the low end (3 drops) and using an intermittent setting both stretch a bottle. Over-dosing does not improve the experience; it only empties the bottle faster.
Does diffuser fragrance expire?
Stored closed, away from heat and direct sun, the SOSA Hotel Collection holds its character for a long time. Keep the cap on between uses and it will be ready whenever you are.
