Ten thousand square feet is the number that sits at the top of a published coverage figure, and the figure has a condition attached that gets dropped every time it is quoted. Aangan at ₹25,999 is rated to up to 3,000 m³ — roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft — when it is connected to HVAC. That is an HVAC-connected figure, not a room figure. A club with an air handling unit and real ductwork can reasonably read that number as describing its building. A club with a scatter of split units and no common duct cannot, because there is nothing for the machine to distribute through, and for that property the honest answer reverts to a set of waterless zone machines placed volume by volume. So this page does the precondition first, then the arithmetic that decides whether 10,000 sq ft is even inside the rating, and then the thing nobody writes down: what an integrator actually needs to find at the mounting position on the day.
Quick answers — read this first
The precondition, stated before anything else: the 8,000–10,000 sq ft coverage is published for an HVAC connection. If your club has no air handling unit and no ductwork reaching the rooms you want scented, that figure does not describe your property, and the scheme becomes two, three or four Vaayu zones at ₹11,999 each instead of one machine at ₹25,999.

Then check whether you are inside the rating at all. Ten thousand square feet under a plain ten-foot ceiling is 100,000 cubic feet, which is a little over 2,800 m³ — just inside up to 3,000 m³. Raise the ceilings to twelve feet and the same plan holds roughly 3,400 m³, which is outside it. At this size the ceiling height decides the answer more than the floor area does, and a double-height lobby decides it faster still.

What the integrator needs at the mounting position: a DC 12V supply at 14W, a bracket that will carry a 3.9 kg metal body measuring 284 × 125 × 246 mm with clearance to open it, service access to an 800ml reservoir without a ladder over a members’ lounge, and an injection point on the supply side of the air handling unit that can be reached without shutting the plant down. It runs under 42 dB, which matters if the position ends up in a ceiling void rather than a plant room.

The schedule is the part people forget: a duct only distributes while the fan is running, so the fragrance schedule has to sit inside the plant schedule. Aangan carries programmable work and pause cycles and daily schedules on a board to make that easy — but there is no digital link of any kind, so the two schedules are aligned by hand and re-checked whenever plant hours change.

The honest gaps, both of them. First: if your arithmetic lands above the published rating, or the ductwork does not reach the rooms you want, no page should give you a machine count — send the plan and the index schedule to the contact page. Second: SOSA lists no purchasable refill oil for the waterless commercial machines and publishes no leather, tobacco or smoky fragrance for any diffuser; that fragrance is specified and quoted per property.
The short answer
Short answer: a 10,000 sq ft club is the classic case for one waterless machine connected to the air handling unit — provided the air handling unit exists, serves the rooms you want scented, and does not also serve the rooms you have agreed to keep neutral. The published coverage of up to 3,000 m³, expressed as roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft, is a figure for that connected condition. Read it as a room rating and you will be disappointed; read it as a distribution rating and it is accurate and useful.
If there is no usable air system: the answer is not a bigger machine, it is more zones. Divide the property by connected volume — mark the doors that stay shut in opening hours, draw a line round each remaining area, write the ceiling heights on — and serve the two or three areas that earn it with zone units set independently. A 10,000 sq ft club treated this way normally has an arrival volume, a circulation spine and a lounge worth scenting, and a good many rooms that should be left alone entirely.
Specify: Aangan ₹25,999 — waterless cold-air nebulising, up to 3,000 m³ ≈ 8,000–10,000 sq ft on an HVAC or AHU connection, or standalone wall-mount or lay-flat, 800ml reservoir, under 42 dB, DC 12V at 14W, an intelligent PCB with programmable work and pause cycles and daily schedules plus an intensity setting, metal body 3.9 kg at 284 × 125 × 246 mm, black or white, one-year warranty, imported. Vaayu ₹11,999 — up to 1000 m³ ≈ 2,000–3,000 sq ft per unit, 400ml sealed tank lasting up to about 90+ days, under 38 dB, DC 12V / 1A at 5W, Bluetooth app plus onboard buttons, 1h / 4h / 8h / 24h windows, day selection, auto-stop, key-lock, CE, RoHS and SGS. Meenar ₹38,500 is the larger-property option and is specified on enquiry. Free shipping above ₹499.
Straight answer
How do I scent a 10,000 sq ft members’ club, and is one machine really enough for it?
1. One machine is enough only on a connection, and the connection is the whole claim. Aangan at ₹25,999 publishes coverage of up to 3,000 m³, which its page renders as roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft, when connected to HVAC. The mist does not travel ten thousand square feet on its own; the building’s air travels, and the machine rides it. So the first question is not about fragrance or budget. It is whether there is an air handling unit with real ductwork serving your lobby, your circulation and your lounge. Central cooling delivered by several split units or by fan coils with no shared supply duct gives the machine nothing to ride, and for that club the whole-floor figure simply does not apply.

2. Do the volume arithmetic before you assume 10,000 sq ft is inside the rating. Ten thousand square feet at a plain ten-foot ceiling is 100,000 cubic feet, a little over 2,800 m³ — just inside up to 3,000 m³ and therefore a single-machine proposition. The same plan at twelve feet is roughly 3,400 m³, which is outside it. Put a double-height entrance hall into the drawing and you cross the line sooner again. At this size the section is not a detail, it is the deciding document, and the honest answer where the arithmetic lands above the rating is that a page cannot give you a number. Send the plan and the ceiling heights to the contact page. Meenar at ₹38,500 is the larger-property option, specified on enquiry rather than sized from a web page.

3. The duct decides the reach, not the floor plan. Even comfortably inside the rating, what actually gets scented is whatever that air system serves. If a third of your 10,000 sq ft sits behind doors the duct does not reach — a card room on its own split unit, a library with the door shut, a suite of meeting rooms — those rooms are outside the scheme whatever the coverage figure says, and in most cases they should be. The converse is the disqualifier: if the same supply also feeds the dining room or the bar counter, you cannot switch that off room by room, and dining stays neutral, so the duct becomes the wrong delivery route regardless of budget.

4. The schedule is part of the specification, and it has no automation behind it. A duct distributes only while the fan runs, so the fragrance schedule has to be a subset of the plant schedule — start after the fan starts, stop before it stops, and allow the morning fresh-air purge to do its work first. Aangan’s intelligent board carries programmable work and pause cycles and daily schedules, which makes that arrangement straightforward. What it does not carry is any digital connection: no building-management interface, no automation protocol, no smart-home link. The connection to the air handling unit is a genuine mechanical integration and the two schedules are aligned by hand.

5. Whichever route you take, the result you want is a fragrance nobody can locate. The reason a member can never find the diffuser in a well-scented building is that there is nothing to find: the fragrance is introduced into moving air upstream, so there is no source to walk towards and no gradient to climb. Waterless cold-air nebulising shatters undiluted oil into a dry nano-mist with no water, no dilution, no added humidity and no residue, and a sealed residue-free tank is what makes a machine safe to mount near joinery, electronics and a return grille. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, 0 ppm formaldehyde, composed in Pune. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
TL;DR: one machine on the air handling if — and only if — there is an air handling unit with ductwork that reaches the rooms you want and skips the rooms you do not. Check the ceiling heights first, because 10,000 sq ft at ten feet is inside the published rating and the same plan at twelve feet is not. With no usable air system, the answer is a set of zone machines, not a bigger one.

Aangan · HVAC nebulising diffuser ₹25,999
Rated to up to 3,000 m³ — roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft — when it is connected into the HVAC or air handling unit, and it will also wall-mount or lay flat as a standalone unit, in which case you are back to sizing a room rather than a building. An 800ml reservoir, under 42 dB, DC 12V at 14W, a metal body of 3.9 kg measuring 284 × 125 × 246 mm, black or white, one-year warranty, imported. Control is an intelligent PCB with programmable work and pause cycles, daily schedules and an intensity setting — a board rather than a phone, which in a club is usually the safer arrangement, because a setting on a board does not go home in somebody’s pocket. The published life claim is weeks between refills on business-hours schedules.

The precondition, the arithmetic, and the fallback

Three things have to be established in order, and each one can send the scheme somewhere different. None of them involves choosing a fragrance, which is why a good specification meeting for a club of this size spends its first half hour with a plant schedule on the table and the perfumer largely silent.

1
FIRST · THE PRECONDITION
The whole-floor figure belongs to a connection, not to a room
SOSA Aangan HVAC nebulising diffuserAangan₹25,999Read the coverage claim carefully, because the qualifying clause is the most important part of it: up to 3,000 m³, roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft, when connected to HVAC. A nebuliser does not project a fragrance across a floor. It introduces an extremely fine dry mist into air that is already moving, and the moving air does the distribution. Remove the moving air and you have a very good machine sitting in a room, covering that room. So establish this before anything else, and establish it with the person who services the plant rather than with the person who drew the interiors: is there an air handling unit, does it have ductwork, and which rooms does that ductwork actually reach. If a club of 10,000 sq ft is conditioned by a dozen wall-mounted indoor units, the elegant single-machine answer is not expensive, it is unavailable — and a supplier who quotes it anyway has not asked.
The specifiable fact: Aangan will connect to HVAC or an AHU, or wall-mount, or lay flat. Only the first of those routes carries the whole-floor rating. The other two are room installations and should be sized as rooms.
2
SECOND · THE SECTION
At 10,000 sq ft the ceiling height decides whether you are inside the rating
SOSA Vaayu waterless cold-air scent machineVaayu₹11,999Coverage is published in cubic metres for a reason, and at this size the reason becomes arithmetic rather than principle. Ten thousand square feet under a plain ten-foot ceiling is 100,000 cubic feet, a little over 2,800 m³, which sits just inside a published rating of up to 3,000 m³ with very little to spare. Take the ceilings to twelve feet — not an unusual height in a club with any ambition — and the same floor plate holds roughly 3,400 m³, which is outside the rating altogether. Add a double-height entrance hall or a galleried stair over part of the plan and the figure moves again. This is the point at which a floor area stops being a specification and starts being a misleading summary. Write the ceiling height beside every room name, do the multiplication room by room rather than as one average, and you will know within an afternoon whether your club is a single-machine building, a single-machine building with nothing in hand, or a property that needs sizing properly on enquiry.
The honest gap: where the arithmetic lands above the published rating I will not publish a machine count, and nobody should. That answer depends on connected volume, ceiling height, door positions, whether the property is on one air index or several, and occupied hours. Send those to the contact page and it becomes specific.
3
THIRD · THE FALLBACK
No air handling unit means more zones, never a bigger machine
SOSA Mountain Breeze cedar and vetiver reed diffuserMountain Breeze₹849A club that fails the precondition has not lost anything worth mourning. It has simply been told that its scheme is zoned, and a zoned scheme is what most of this cluster argues for in any case, because it lets arrival read clearly while a lounge sits deliberately below the level anyone would name. Mark the doors that stay shut in opening hours, draw a line round each connected area, and the 10,000 sq ft resolves itself into a handful of volumes of very unequal value. The entrance and the circulation spine earn the most, because every member passes through them with a nose that has been outside and nobody stands in them for hours. The lounge earns a setting of its own, chosen for the fourth hour. Meeting rooms, the boardroom, the library, the gym floor, the treatment rooms and the dining room earn nothing at all, and saying so is what makes the rest of the scheme believable to a chef and a long-standing member.
The specifiable fact: each zone unit needs its own DC 12V / 1A point at 5W, its own position in the airflow path rather than the sightline, and its own key-lock engaged after the setting is recorded. Three units set independently is a different product from one unit at one level, and usually a better one.

What the integrator actually needs at the mounting position

This is the part that is missing from almost every conversation about HVAC scenting, and it is the part that determines whether a commissioning visit takes an hour or a Saturday. The machine is small and light — 3.9 kg, 284 × 125 × 246 mm — which is exactly why it gets treated as a decision that can be left to site. It cannot. Four things have to exist at the chosen position before anyone arrives with a box. A DC 12V supply at 14W, which is a trivial load and a real low-voltage point that an electrical drawing has to show. A fixing that will carry a metal body of that weight with enough clearance around it to open the unit. An injection route into the supply side of the air handling unit — and here the questions to put to your HVAC contractor are specific: is there a spare spigot or does the duct need a boss made, where does that point sit relative to the filter bank, and can it be reached without taking the plant out of service on a weekday. And service access to an 800ml reservoir that a house engineer can reach standing up, rather than from a ladder through a ceiling grid above the members’ lounge.

Two smaller details save more trouble than their size suggests. The unit runs under 42 dB, which is inaudible in a plant room and entirely audible in a ceiling void over a quiet reading area at nine in the morning — so the acoustic question is about the position, not about the machine. And the tank is sealed and residue free, which in a commercial installation matters more than it sounds: it is what makes the unit safe to mount near joinery, near electronics, and next to a return grille, because there is no water, no dilution and nothing to deposit on a surface. That is a property of waterless nebulising rather than a feature, and it is the practical reason clubs stopped using water-based machines in plant positions. An ultrasonic machine throws a wet mist and adds humidity, which in an Indian club is very often the enemy rather than the tool.

Then there is the schedule, which belongs in the specification and not in a handover conversation. A duct distributes only while the fan is running; when the plant stops, the distribution stops with it and whatever is in the air leaves with the next air change. So the fragrance schedule is a subset of the plant schedule — starting after the fan, finishing before it, and staying out of the way of the morning fresh-air purge that a well-run club does before opening. Aangan’s intelligent PCB holds programmable work and pause cycles and daily schedules, which makes that easy to set and impossible to automate. There is no digital integration on any SOSA machine — no building-management interface, no automation protocol, no smart-home connection, no control-system driver — so nobody should design an interlock into a drawing. The connection into the air handling unit is a mechanical integration and a real one; it is simply not a data connection, and the two schedules are kept in step by a person with a written procedure.

The mounting-position checklist

Take this table to the meeting where the mechanical contractor, the electrical contractor and the house engineer are all in the room, which is the only meeting at which it can be settled cheaply. Every line in it costs nothing at drawing stage and something real once ceilings are closed.

Specify this scheme
The three waterless machines, and which one a 10,000 sq ft club is actually choosing between
The SOSA principle
You can never find the diffuser in a well-scented building because it is not in the room.
The fragrance is introduced into moving air upstream of the space, so there is no source to walk towards and no gradient to climb. That, rather than any quality of the oil, is what separates a building that smells of itself from a room with a machine in the corner — and it is exactly what an HVAC connection buys you at 10,000 sq ft.

If there is no air handling unit: the zoned 10,000 sq ft club

Assume the plant schedule came back as a list of split units. The scheme is now a zoning exercise, and the discipline is to resist the arithmetic that says ten thousand divided by a coverage figure equals a number of machines. That sum is wrong for two reasons. It uses floor area where the rating is a volume, and it assumes the whole property is one connected body of air when a club of this size is never fewer than half a dozen. What you are dividing is not the building. It is the list of volumes that earn a setting.

In practice a 10,000 sq ft club resolves into an arrival volume — the vestibule, the lobby and the reception approach, which behave as one if the doors between them are open in service; a circulation spine of corridors and stair halls, which is usually the best value in the entire scheme because every member passes along it repeatedly and nobody stands in it; a members’ lounge, which takes the same identity at a markedly lower setting; and then a long list of rooms that take nothing. Two or three units serve that, set independently, each key-locked after commissioning. I will not turn it into a formula: the number depends on the connected volume of each of those areas rather than the total, on the ceiling heights, on where the closed doors fall, on whether an open stair joins two floors into one volume, and on how many hours each area is genuinely occupied. A galleried stair or a lift shaft behaves as a chimney, carrying warm air and fragrance to a floor nobody intended to scent, which occasionally means one machine does the work of two and occasionally means a setting has to come down.

One last point about air change, because it cuts both ways and is frequently misread as a fault in the machine. Air that leaves takes the fragrance with it. A busy club lobby with automatic doors and a high air-change rate needs the fragrance replaced continuously, and the same machine on the same setting will behave quite differently in a sealed upstairs room where it accumulates. Air conditioning helps by distributing evenly and hurts by removing faster, and that is not a contradiction to resolve, it is the reason a schedule matters more than an intensity. If the lobby seems thin at six in the evening, the useful question is what changed about the air movement at six, not whether the composition should be stronger. Most complaints of weak fragrance are distribution complaints, and the free test is to stand close to the source: if it is clearly present there, the fragrance is fine and the delivery is not.

The 8,000 to 10,000 square foot figure is an HVAC-connected figure. Without a duct to ride, it is not a description of your building — and no budget converts a split unit into an air handling unit.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA

The scheme in buying order — and the two gaps

Here is the order I would write a 10,000 sq ft purchase in. The first three lines cost nothing and settle almost everything, and the last line is the pair of things this range does not contain, in the table rather than in a footnote because they come up in the first meeting every time.

The 10,000 sq ft scheme
What to do, in what order, and what SOSA does not publish
Step What it is Why it comes here in the order Cost
1. Establish the precondition ★ Is there an AHU with ductwork, which rooms does it reach, and which rooms does it also reach that you want neutral Because the published whole-floor coverage belongs to that connection and to nothing else No purchase
2. Do the volume arithmetic room by room Ceiling heights written on the plan, a section where there is a mezzanine or a galleried stair At this size the height decides whether the club is inside the rating at all No purchase
3. Sort the air and the moisture first A fresh-air purge before opening, dry carpets, drain traps serviced, humidity brought down Fragrance laid over a stale building produces a mixture members read as a cover-up No purchase
4a. Aangan on the air handling, if the precondition passes Up to 3,000 m³ on that connection, 800ml, under 42 dB, DC 12V at 14W, programmable cycles and daily schedules One reservoir, one schedule, no equipment in any room and no source a member can locate ₹25,999
4b. Vaayu per zone, if it does not Up to 1000 m³ each, DC 12V / 1A at 5W, under 38 dB, 400ml, 1h to 24h windows, key-locked Arrival firm, circulation light and continuous, lounge deliberately below naming level ₹11,999 each
5. Write the spec, lock the settings, name the owner Fragrance, position, intensity, schedule inside plant hours, refill cadence, the unscented list A fragrance only becomes a system when it is written down and one person owns it No purchase
No digital integration, and no listed commercial refill: the honest gaps The AHU connection is mechanical and real; there is no building-management interface, automation protocol, smart-home link or control-system driver on any SOSA machine. And no purchasable refill oil is listed for the waterless machines — that fragrance is specified and quoted per property, and no leather, tobacco or smoky direction is published for any diffuser Said plainly, because an interlock drawn now can never be commissioned, and because a committee will ask about running cost in the first meeting Quoted
Honest notes for a house committee: every SOSA fragrance is alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant and 0 ppm formaldehyde; reed diffusers ship with six fibre reeds in a refillable glass bottle, and everything is composed in Pune by an ISIPCA Versailles-trained perfumer. CE, RoHS and SGS are published for Vaayu; no certifications are published for the larger two machines, which is worth knowing before it appears in a committee paper. The Hotel Collection fragrance oils are water-based and belong only in an ultrasonic machine — they are not for reed diffusers and not for the waterless commercial machines, and the carrier decides the machine in both directions. No dealer programme, reseller margin, trade price, territory or service contract is published, and no stock figure; commercial enquiries are answered individually through the contact page. Free shipping above ₹499, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house and is not affiliated with any hotel brand.

The fallback, and often the better scheme anyway
Vaayu · waterless cold-air nebuliser ₹11,999
Rated to up to 1000 m³ per unit, described on its page as roughly 2,000–3,000 sq ft at ordinary ceiling heights, which is what makes a zoned 10,000 sq ft club a two or three unit proposition rather than a ten unit one — because you are serving the volumes that earn a setting, not the whole floor plate. It lays flat, wall-mounts, or goes into an HVAC return where one exists. DC 12V / 1A at 5W per position, under 38 dB, a sealed residue-free 400ml tank running up to about 90+ days depending on intensity and hours, run windows of 1h, 4h, 8h and 24h with day selection, adjustable intensity, auto-stop and a key-lock on each unit. A note from Sonal

The first ten thousand square foot club I specified taught me to put the precondition in the first sentence rather than the fourth. The general manager had read the coverage figure, decided one machine would do the building, and put that number in a committee paper. He was not wrong about the figure. He had simply not noticed the words that follow it, and neither had the two suppliers who quoted before me. The club had no air handling unit at all. It had nine split units, a lot of good joinery and a single return grille in the lobby ceiling that went nowhere useful.

What we did instead was walk it with the doors closed as they are in service, which took an hour and changed the whole shape of the proposal. The building resolved into an arrival volume, a long corridor that connected almost everything, a members’ room that was genuinely one volume, and about a dozen rooms that we agreed on the spot should be left alone — the two card rooms, the library, the boardroom, the treatment rooms, the gym and the dining room. That left three volumes worth a machine and one of them arguable. The committee paper was rewritten around a corridor, which is not a glamorous line item and was the best money the club spent that year.

The second thing I would pass on is about the mounting position, because it is where the money quietly goes. On the clubs where the HVAC route did apply, the difference between a straightforward install and an awkward one was never the machine. It was whether somebody had drawn a low-voltage point at the position, whether the duct had a spigot or needed a boss cutting into it on a Saturday, and whether the reservoir could be reached standing up. Settle those three with your mechanical and electrical contractors while the ceilings are still open, write the schedule down inside the plant hours, and then set the level once, lock what can be locked, and judge it only by walking in from the car park with a member beside you. Everything we make is composed in Pune, and a part of every order funds a girl’s classroom through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Will one machine really cover a 10,000 sq ft club?
On an HVAC connection and at ordinary ceiling heights, yes — that is precisely what the published rating of up to 3,000 m³, expressed as roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft, describes. Two conditions have to hold. There must be an air handling unit with ductwork reaching the rooms you want scented, because the mist rides moving air rather than projecting across a floor. And the volume has to be inside the rating: 10,000 sq ft at ten feet is a little over 2,800 m³, while the same plan at twelve feet is roughly 3,400 m³ and outside it. Where the arithmetic lands above the rating, send the plan and heights to the contact page rather than accepting a number from a page.
What if our club has no air handling unit?
Then the whole-floor coverage figure does not apply to your building and the answer becomes a set of zone machines instead. That is not a downgrade. Divide the property by connected volume rather than floor area — mark the doors that stay shut in service, draw a line round each remaining area, write the ceiling heights on — and you will usually find an arrival volume, a circulation spine and a lounge worth a setting each, plus a long list of rooms that should have nothing. Vaayu is rated to up to 1000 m³ per unit, and the count depends on those volumes, the heights, the doors and the occupied hours rather than on ten thousand divided by anything.
What does the installer need to find at the mounting position?
A DC 12V supply at 14W shown on the electrical drawing. A fixing that will carry a 3.9 kg metal body measuring 284 × 125 × 246 mm, with clearance to open it. An injection point on the supply side of the air handling unit, with the filter position confirmed and an answer to whether the duct has a spare spigot or needs a boss made. Service access to the 800ml reservoir from standing height rather than through a ceiling grid. And a position chosen with the noise in mind, since the unit runs under 42 dB — inaudible in a plant room, audible in a void above a quiet reading area. The sealed residue-free tank is what makes it safe to mount near joinery, electronics and a return grille.
Can the fragrance be interlocked with the air handling unit so it only runs when the fan runs?
Not electrically, and it is much better to know that before a control schematic is drawn. There is no digital integration on any SOSA machine: no building-management interface, no automation protocol, no smart-home connection and no control-system driver. The connection into the air handling unit is a mechanical integration and a genuine one — the mist enters air the building is already moving. The alignment is done by schedule instead: Aangan carries programmable work and pause cycles and daily schedules on its board, so you set the fragrance hours to sit inside the plant hours, write them down, and re-check them whenever the plant schedule changes.
Which rooms in a 10,000 sq ft club should we leave out of the scheme?
More than a committee expects, and naming them is what makes the rest credible. Dining rooms, private dining and bar counters stay neutral, because ambient fragrance competes with the kitchen and flattens wine. Spa treatment rooms carry the therapist’s own oils. A gym floor needs air change rather than perfume. Boardrooms and private meeting rooms are small closed volumes holding people for hours who did not choose the smell, so the corridor outside carries the identity instead. And a library or card room that smells of paper and timber already has a character worth protecting. If your ductwork serves two or more of those on the same index as the lobby, that is the strongest single argument for a zoned scheme rather than an HVAC one.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body, on how a private members’ club of around 10,000 sq ft should be specified, and on the HVAC precondition attached to the published whole-floor coverage figure. Volume figures quoted for example plans are arithmetic from a floor area and a stated ceiling height, converted at approximately thirty-five cubic feet to the cubic metre; they illustrate a method rather than measuring any property. Machine coverage figures are the manufacturer’s published ratings in volume and depend on ceiling height, connected volume, door positions and air change. No machine count is published as a formula. Review quotations are from verified SOSA buyers of the reed diffuser range.
