A parked cabin can hit 65-70°C in summer sun, and that heat drains any fragrance faster, so park in shade where you can and use a windscreen shade. If you use the hanging diffuser, close its stopper when the car sits in the sun, so it is not evaporating into an empty parked car all afternoon.
Why heat is the enemy of all-day freshness
