Somewhere on the SOSA trio page there is a list headed with reasons not to buy it, and the first line on that list describes your boyfriend. A shop that publishes its own disqualifiers is worth taking at its word, and it saves this page a lot of persuasion. The instinct behind your question is sound - a set of three ought to be a gentler introduction than a single deep bottle - but the box SOSA actually publishes is not built that way. It is three evening compositions, and the one the range publishes as the deepest of the four is inside it. So the useful work here is smaller and more accurate: which single bottle sits closest to what he already wears, what woody material is already in it, and what a real step downward would cost if he ever wanted one.
SOSA Adaa attar, bergamot cardamom neroli and jasmine sambac, from Rs 379
SOSA Adaa · bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac · 3ml, 6ml or 12ml from ₹379 →
This is the light end of the SOSA attar range, and it is one bottle rather than a shelf. Adaa publishes bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood, at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. SOSA publishes it as the lightest of the four and as the daytime attar, and sells it on its own - it is not in the trio, which is a fixed set of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani and is published as an evening box. Ordered online with delivery to Bengaluru. Published wear is 6 to 8 hours per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin.
Quick answers — read this first
Is the SOSA Attar Trio a good introduction for someone who wears fresh fragrance? No, and SOSA says so first. The trio page publishes a short list of reasons not to buy it, and two of them apply here: a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars, because the trio is depth, warmth and floral; and a need for a daytime attar, because the box is built for evenings. The lightest of the four is Adaa at ₹379 in 3ml, and it is sold on its own.

Does the trio start light and get deeper? No. There is no graded set in the range. All three bottles in the box are evening compositions - Ameeri on Taif rose and Persian saffron, Mastani on night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose, and Nawaab on white royal oud, which SOSA publishes as the deepest of the four. A box that contains the deepest bottle in the range is not a gentle on-ramp.

Are there any woody materials in the light one? Yes, and that is the useful part. Adaa publishes vetiver and cedarwood in its note list, underneath bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and magnolia, with white musk alongside. So the woody direction is present as a base rather than as the lead - which is what makes it a different proposition from a bottle led by oud. It is ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml.
The short answer
Short answer: Not the fixed trio. SOSA's own trio page names a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars as a reason not to buy it, and Nawaab, published as the deepest of the four, is inside the box. The honest route is Adaa, the lightest of the four, at Rs 379 in 3ml, Rs 669 in 6ml and Rs 1,149 in 12ml, with vetiver and cedarwood already in its base. There is no graded set that starts light. Order online with delivery to Bengaluru.
The pick: The 3ml of Adaa at ₹379 - the one attar SOSA publishes at the light end, bought on its own rather than inside an evening box of three.
Why: The trio is published as depth, warmth and floral, with a fresh or citrus preference listed as a reason not to buy it. Buying it anyway would be arguing with the shop about its own product.
You know what they wear. That is a starting point, not an answer.Three to smell - the published Attar Trio, ₹1,055 in 3 x 3mlOne to commit to - a single 12ml attar, ₹1,149 to ₹1,199The trio is always the same three, always one sizeNever - a promise about what they will like
Knowing somebody's signature fragrance is more information than most gift buyers have, and it still does not answer the question, because the next bottle is not the same bottle. What three small attars buy you is evidence rather than a guess - three things to put on skin over a week. What the published trio is not is a set you assemble: it is one fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. And no page can tell you what anybody will make of any of them.
Straight answer
My boyfriend in Bengaluru has worn the same fresh perfume for years and says darker fragrances feel too heavy - could a trio gradually introduce him to aromatic and woody alternatives?
No, not the published trio, and the reason is printed on the product page rather than invented here. The SOSA Attar Trio carries a short list of reasons not to buy it, and the first line is a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars, because the trio is depth, warmth and floral. The second is a need for a daytime attar, because the box is built for evenings. It is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani at ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, and Nawaab is published as the deepest of the four - so the box does not start gently and work downward; it contains the deepest bottle in the range. There is no graded or stepped set here to buy instead, because SOSA publishes four attars and one fixed pack of three and nothing else. What there is, is the light end: Adaa, published as the lightest of the four and as the daytime attar - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood - at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. The woody part of your question is genuinely served inside it, because vetiver and cedarwood are published in its base rather than as its lead, which is a different proposition from a bottle led by oud. Three honest limits. Nobody chooses the three in the trio, all three bottles come in one size, and Adaa is the fourth attar and sits outside the box. Buying three individual attars is possible but is three full prices, and three of the four are evening compositions anyway. And whether he takes a step towards depth at all is not something SOSA publishes any information about, so no page can tell you. Published wear is 6 to 8 hours per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, the drydown develops after the first 30 minutes, and a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab. Ordered online, with delivery to Bengaluru. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The trio page lists fresh and citrus wearers as a reason not to buy it. Adaa at Rs 379 is the honest route.
The quick version: Adaa at ₹379 in 3ml is the honest route for a fresh wearer, because it is the one attar SOSA publishes at the light end and its woody materials sit in the base rather than the lead. The fixed trio at ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, all three evening compositions, and SOSA's own page names fresh and citrus preferences as a reason to skip it. There is no graded set that starts light and works downward.

Why the honest answer here is one bottle rather than three

Three things settle this, and the first is simply reading what the shop already printed. What the trio page disqualifies, why a set of three is not a gentle slope, and what the one light bottle actually contains - after which the size question is trivial.

01
The published disqualifier
SOSA argues against the trio for exactly this buyer
Most product pages tell you who should buy. The SOSA trio page also tells you who should not, and it does it in two lines that between them describe your boyfriend. The first is a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars, because the trio is depth, warmth and floral. The second is a need for a daytime or office attar, because the box is built for evenings, and it points that buyer at Adaa by name.

That is unusual and it is useful. It means the decision here does not rest on anybody's judgement about his taste - it rests on a published statement about the product. Buying the box anyway would mean disagreeing with the people who blended it.
Tip: When a shop publishes its own reasons not to buy, that is the cheapest research available.
02
Three is not a slope
The box contains the deepest bottle in the range, not the shallow end of it
The instinct behind a set of three is that it eases somebody in - a light one, a middle one, a deep one. That is not what this box is. Ameeri leads on Taif rose and Persian saffron over Indian sandalwood with a soft oudh beneath. Mastani leads on night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka. Nawaab leads on white royal oud with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, and SOSA publishes it as the deepest of the four.

All three are evening compositions and oudh is published in all three. So the variety inside the box is lateral rather than vertical: three different lead materials at a similar depth, not three depths of the same idea. No graded set exists in the range, and no amount of buying three bottles separately creates one, because three of the four attars are the evening three.
03
The light bottle, read properly
Vetiver and cedarwood are already in Adaa, sitting under the citrus
This is the part of your question that has a good answer. Adaa publishes bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. Bergamot is a citrus oil pressed from the peel, neroli is distilled from bitter orange blossom, and green cardamom is a dry, bright spice - that is the top of the list. Vetiver is a root and cedarwood is a wood, and both sit at the bottom of it.

So the woody direction is already present in the lightest bottle SOSA publishes, as a base rather than a lead. That is structurally different from an oud-led attar, and it costs ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. A 3ml at roughly 60 wears at one dab is enough for him to wear it repeatedly rather than test it once - and if a deeper step is ever wanted after that, Nawaab is there at ₹399 in 3ml as one deliberate bottle rather than a box of three.
Tip: Woody is in the light bottle already. It is just underneath rather than in front.
SOSA Adaa attar, bergamot cardamom and jasmine sambac
The bottle the trio does not contain
Adaa, and why it matters to half these questions
SOSA publishes four attars. Three of them are in the trio and one is not. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk - is published as the lightest of the four and a daytime attar, and it is sold on its own at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. That matters because the trio page itself lists a reason not to buy the trio: it is an evening set of depth, warmth and floral, and somebody who wears bright, light, citrus-led fragrance is not the buyer for it. If what you know about their taste is that it is fresh, the honest route is Adaa rather than the box - and if you want Adaa alongside two others, that is three individual bottles at full price, because the trio cannot be recomposed.

Work it out in this order
Read the brief against the range, in this sequence
  1. Write his brief down: fresh for years, and he calls deeper scents heavy.
  2. Read the trio page's own reasons not to buy. Line one is that brief.
  3. Look at Adaa's base: white musk, vetiver and cedarwood under the citrus.
  4. Then size it. Rs 379 in 3ml, Rs 669 in 6ml, Rs 1,149 in 12ml.
The SOSA principle
Three bottles are the right answer when you do not know where somebody's taste stops. Here you do know, it is published on the page, and the honest answer shrinks to one.
Which makes this the cheapest page on the site to act on: Rs 379 rather than Rs 1,055, because the brief says so.

Where the woody materials sit in the lightest of the four

Laid out in order, the four make the point on their own. Adaa leads on bergamot and green cardamom with neroli beside them, carries jasmine sambac and magnolia, and lists white musk, vetiver and cedarwood beneath them - the only one of the four in which citrus is the leading material. Ameeri leads on Taif rose and Persian saffron over Indian sandalwood, with a soft oudh, amber and white musk under it. Mastani leads on night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka. Nawaab is white royal oud with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, published as the deepest of the four. The last three are the trio. Nothing in that group is light, and nothing in the range sits between Adaa and Ameeri.

The SOSA gift edit
The four things you could buy him, and where each one gives out
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
Adaa, 3ml at ₹379 The one attar SOSA publishes at the light end, and the one the trio page points fresh wearers at by name. Roughly 60 wears at one dab, so it is a real trial. Where it gives out: it is a single direction, so it answers the fresh half of your question and does nothing at all for the variety half.
Adaa, 12ml at ₹1,149 The same composition in the largest published size, for when you expect it to be worn rather than assessed. Where it gives out: it buys more of one thing, and SOSA publishes no wear figure for a 12ml, only the 3ml number, so you are buying volume without a published count.
The fixed trio, 3 x 3ml at ₹1,055 Three genuinely different lead materials at roughly 60 wears each, in one gift-ready box, and cheaper than the same three bought one at a time. Where it gives out: every one of the three is an evening composition, SOSA lists a fresh preference as a reason not to buy it, and the deepest bottle in the range is inside it.
Nawaab on its own, ₹399 in 3ml One deliberate step rather than three: white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, in the smallest size, at the price of a single bottle. Where it gives out: it is the deepest thing SOSA publishes, which is the exact opposite of what he described, so it is a step to take only if he asks for it himself.
SOSA Attar Trio, three bottles in one gift-ready box
What the three sizes actually buy you
3ml, 6ml or 12ml - and roughly sixty wears in the smallest
All three trio tiers contain the same three attars; the only variable is how much of each. ₹1,055 buys 3 x 3ml, and the published figure for a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab - which is the number that makes a discovery gift a real one rather than a set of samples, because it is enough to wear a scent on an ordinary Tuesday and not just sniff it in a shop. ₹1,859 buys 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 buys 3 x 12ml, the largest published size of each. Against the same bottles bought singly those are savings of ₹118, ₹204 and ₹354. The trio ships with all three bottles in the same size - there is no mixed-size set, and SOSA states that mixing sizes means buying the three individually and losing the trio price.

The format is identical across all four and some of it matters for a first attar. Every SOSA attar is alcohol-free and DPG-free, carried on Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, IFRA-compliant and skin-safe, hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained. Each bottle has a built-in dab applicator, and the published instruction is to dab on pulse points rather than rub. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin and not straight onto a collar or a cuff. The Adaa and trio pages publish heat-stability to 45 degrees C. On presentation, the trio's three bottles come in a single gift-ready box and that is the one packaging fact SOSA publishes; a single bottle of Adaa has no such box, there is no printed insert and no wrapping service, and custom label or logo on product is the only branding option. Orders are placed online, with delivery to Bengaluru as to any other address in India.

The fact that changes most of these questions
The trio is one published combination. You do not choose the three.
Almost every version of this question arrives phrased as a curation problem - which three directions should I pick for her? - and the honest answer is that the published SOSA Attar Trio is a fixed set: Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. Adaa, the lightest of the four, is not in it - SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar and sells it on its own. And the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size; SOSA's own page states that a different three, or three different sizes, means buying individually and losing the trio price. So the real decision is not which three. It is whether these three are the right three for what you already know about their taste - and where they are not, the page should say so rather than sell you the box. The prices are ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. What any of them does on a particular person, and what that person makes of being given them, is not something SOSA publishes and not something this page will invent.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every attar gift where you already know what they wear, and the first one is not price. Are you buying breadth or depth? Breadth means three bottles to put on skin over a week, which is what the published trio is for; depth means one 12ml in a direction you are already confident about. Then: does what you know about their taste sit inside what the trio actually contains? The trio is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - warm rose and saffron, white royal oud, and night-jasmine with Damask rose. It has no light, fresh or citrus-led bottle in it, because Adaa is the lightest of the four and is sold separately from ₹379. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Product What it is What it is for Price
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 3ml Three to smell, not one to guess ₹1,055 for Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani in 3ml each, against ₹1,173 bought singly. The published figure for a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab - enough to actually live with a scent rather than sniff it ₹1,055
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 6ml The middle size ₹1,859 against ₹2,063 bought singly. The same three attars; the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size ₹1,859
SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 12ml Three full bottles ₹3,189 against ₹3,543 bought singly. The largest published size of each, in one gift-ready box ₹3,189
Adaa - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml The lightest in the range ₹379, ₹669 and ₹1,149. Bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk. Adaa is not in the trio - SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar and sells it separately from ₹379
Ameeri - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Warm, rose and saffron led ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, a measured oudh and amber from ₹385
Mastani - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Floral depth ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka from ₹389
Nawaab - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml The deepest in the range ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. White royal oud led, with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf. SOSA publishes this as the deepest of the four from ₹399
SOSA solid body perfumes - 15g Worn, and smaller still ₹459 to ₹549. The other worn format in the range. No wear-time figure is published for these, so this page does not give one from ₹459
SOSA reed diffusers A room, not a person From ₹749 in 50ml. Listed here only to rule it out: a reed diffuser scents a room and an attar is worn. They are not substitutes, and a fragrance-taste question is not answered by a bottle that sits on a shelf from ₹749

The single most useful fact on this page: the published Attar Trio is one fixed combination. It is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, every time, and all three bottles ship in the size you select. Adaa cannot be substituted into it, and there is no mixed-size trio - SOSA's own page says that if you want a different three, or three different sizes, you buy the bottles individually and the trio discount does not apply. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, a built-in dab applicator (dab on pulse points, do not rub), a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, and alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant formulations hand-blended in small batches in Pune. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than on fabric. Prices above are the published selling prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, with quantities settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA attar pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • The four attars and their prices - Adaa, bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk, ₹379 / ₹669 / ₹1,149; Ameeri, Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh and amber, ₹385 / ₹679 / ₹1,165; Mastani, night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka, ₹389 / ₹685 / ₹1,179; Nawaab, white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, ₹399 / ₹699 / ₹1,199. In 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. Those four are the entire attar range.
  • The trio - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani at ₹1,055, ₹1,859 and ₹3,189 for 3 x 3ml, 3 x 6ml and 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 bought singly. It is one fixed combination, all three bottles in the same size, and Adaa is not in it. A different three, or mixed sizes, means buying individually at full price.
  • Wear - 6 to 8 hours on skin per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, with the drydown developing after the first 30 minutes. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. That is the only quantity figure SOSA gives for an attar.
  • The format - a concentrated oil attar with a built-in dab applicator; dab on pulse points and do not rub. Carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba. Alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant, skin-safe, heat-stable to 45 degrees C, hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than fabric.
  • Relative depth, in SOSA's own words - Adaa is published as the lightest of the four and Nawaab as the deepest, with Ameeri and Mastani between them. That ordering is published; no number from any product page is quoted here, and no claim is made about how any of them behaves on a particular person.
  • Not published, and therefore never stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product; and anything whatsoever about what a recipient will like or how a gift will be received. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.

A note from Sonal

The message we get most often on WhatsApp is not what should I buy. It is a more specific and more interesting problem: I know exactly what she wears. I have known for years. I just cannot buy it again. That person is not short of information. They are short of a next step, which is a different thing entirely, and almost nothing written about fragrance gifting treats it as different.

Here is the part I would want them to hold on to. Knowing somebody's signature tells you where they started, not where they would go. A person who has worn one bottle for a decade has usually not rejected the alternatives - they have never had three of them on their own skin at the same time. So the useful gift is not a better guess at one bottle. It is evidence: several things to wear, on separate days, and the chance to notice which one they reach for without being asked to be polite about it.

The part I will be blunt about, because our own product page is blunt about it: the trio is one fixed set. Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, all three in whichever size you choose. It is not assembled around a person's taste, Adaa is not in it, and if somebody wears bright citrus and nothing else, that box is the wrong box - Adaa on its own is the honest answer, and it costs a great deal less. I would rather lose the larger sale than have three bottles sit unopened on somebody's dressing table.

And the thing nobody selling fragrance should pretend to know: I cannot tell you what they will like. I can tell you what is in each bottle, that one dab carries six to eight hours, that a 3ml is roughly sixty wears, and that all four are alcohol-free and blended here in Pune. What happens when a particular person puts a particular attar on a particular wrist is genuinely theirs to find out - and giving them three ways to find it out is, I think, the whole point.

No. All three bottles in the SOSA Attar Trio are evening compositions, oudh is published in all three, and Nawaab - published as the deepest of the four - is one of them. SOSA's trio page names a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars as a reason not to buy it. There is no graded set in the range that starts light and works downward.
What should I buy instead for a fresh-fragrance wearer?
Adaa, the lightest of the four and the one SOSA's own trio page points daytime buyers at: bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. It is Rs 379 in 3ml, Rs 669 in 6ml and Rs 1,149 in 12ml, and it is bought on its own rather than inside the box.
Can I add Adaa to the trio and get the trio price?
No. The trio price covers one fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani in a single size. Adaa is a separate purchase at its own full price, so in 3ml the box plus Adaa is Rs 1,434 on one order - four bottles, three of them in the box and one outside it. SOSA states that a different three, or mixed sizes, means buying the bottles individually.
Is there anything woody in the light attar?
Yes. Adaa publishes vetiver and cedarwood in its note list, sitting under bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and magnolia, with white musk alongside them. Vetiver is a root and cedarwood is a wood, so the woody direction is present as a base rather than as the lead, which is a different structure from an oud-led attar.
Can I order it online for delivery to Bengaluru?
Yes. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and every order is placed online, with delivery to Bengaluru the same way as to any other address in India. No timing figure is published on the product pages, so none is quoted here - ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 if a date matters.
SOSA fragrance gift
Take the next step
Take the shop at its word: this is a one-bottle question, not a three-bottle one
Adaa at ₹379 in 3ml when the brief is a fresh wearer and the job is a first attar - roughly 60 wears at one dab, so it is a real trial and not a token. Adaa at ₹669 in 6ml or ₹1,149 in 12ml when you already expect it to be used rather than sorted through. The published trio at ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml only if an evening set of three is genuinely what you want, because SOSA lists a preference for fresh, light, citrusy attars as a reason not to buy it. And Nawaab at ₹399 in 3ml if the point is one deliberate step into depth rather than three. Ordered online with delivery to Bengaluru. Tell SOSA what he wears on WhatsApp.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.
The fragrance gift that hands the choosing back to the person wearing it
SOSA — alcohol-free oil attars, hand-blended in Pune in 3ml, 6ml and 12ml; the fixed Attar Trio from ₹1,055, single bottles from ₹379, 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle
Send SOSA one message on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 describing what he actually wears, and you will get a straight answer rather than the largest box - which in a brief like this one is usually Adaa from ₹379 and not the trio at all. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the reasoning about how to buy fragrance for somebody whose taste you partly know applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: SOSA publishes four attars and one pack of three, and that is the entire attar range. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood - is ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. Ameeri - Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh, amber and white musk - is ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Mastani - night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka - is ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Nawaab - white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf - is ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. The SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - at ₹1,055 for 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 for 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 for 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. All three bottles in a trio ship in the same size and in a single gift-ready box. Adaa is not in the trio; SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar, sold separately, and the trio page states that a different combination or mixed sizes means buying individually without the trio price. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin; a drydown that develops after the first 30 minutes; roughly 60 wears in a 3ml at one dab; a built-in dab applicator, dabbed on pulse points rather than rubbed; a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba; alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant and skin-safe; heat-stable to 45 degrees C; hand-blended in small batches in Pune; country of origin India. Attar oils can stain light silks and are applied to skin rather than fabric. For comparison: SOSA solid body perfumes are ₹459 to ₹549 in 15g and are also worn, though no wear-time figure is published for them; SOSA reed diffusers from ₹749 scent a room rather than a person and are not an alternative to an attar. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; and any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product. Limits of this guide: no claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, sleep, headaches, sensitivity or wellbeing, in either direction. No claim is made about what any recipient will like. Nothing here states or implies that a named person will enjoy, prefer, adopt or be impressed by any fragrance, that a scent will suit them or become their signature, or that a gift will be well received; SOSA publishes no information of that kind and none is invented here. No third-party perfume, perfume house or brand is named, and no resemblance, alternative or dupe claim is made about any SOSA product. No rating, review count, strength score or customer name from any product page is cited, and no competitor or category of competing product is characterised. No statement is made about what any community, religion or family wears or gives, and no etiquette rule is presented as fact. No fragrance is assigned to a gender; SOSA publishes all four attars as wearable by anyone. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
