The five-scent version, for households that rotate
Three scents finish a 3BHK, and for most households that is the end of the matter. But nine 15ml bottles arrive with three Sukoons at ₹5,697, so a household that enjoys changing things has six bottles spare before it has spent an extra rupee — and a 3BHK has enough rooms and enough occasions to use five characters without the flat becoming incoherent. The question I am asked is which fragrance is best, and the question that matters is which three go together. A scent is not judged in a bottle or on a shelf — it is judged at eleven at night in a room with a door shut, or in the four seconds after somebody walks in from a hot corridor. That is why my trio has one clean scent, one rich one and one deliberately quiet one rather than three I happen to admire.
