The difficult thing about a renewal gift is not this year. It is every year after it. A renewal is periodic by definition, so whatever you send becomes the thing you sent last time, and the version you send next time is measured against it. That is a different constraint from a one-off thank-you and it changes the answer: the question is not what impresses at a renewal, it is what you could keep doing without renegotiating it with yourself annually - and the number that sets that ceiling is yours, not something a fragrance house can put on a page.
SOSA car perfume, spray or hanging, from Rs 449
SOSA car perfume · 12ml · published retail prices only from ₹449 →
A renewal gift you could send again next year without renegotiating it. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). Published retail prices, with no bulk rate and no minimum quantity anywhere. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
What is a useful renewal gift that stays small against a policy? Something that belongs in the insured vehicle and carries a published retail price you can check. SOSA car perfume is ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, in two forms at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). What that figure means against your renewal is yours to judge, and SOSA publishes nothing about it.

Does SOSA publish anything about what a gift should cost against a policy? No, and it should not. The only figures SOSA publishes are retail prices - ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, combos at ₹899 and ₹949, Discovery Sets ₹699 to ₹899 and a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity and no price break. Your own arithmetic stays your own.

Spray or hanging for a renewal customer? Either, at the same price. The spray is applied when the owner decides and leaves nothing visible in the cabin; the hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in and takes the mirror. For a customer you deal with once a year by phone, handing over control is usually the safer of the two.
The short answer
Short answer: Choose on repeatability, not on impact. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, and the spray and the hanging bottle are the same price. SOSA publishes retail prices only - no bulk rate, no minimum, no per-customer figure. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509 - a published price you can check, in a category the insured vehicle already has a use for.
Why: It repeats without escalating, it needs no fitting or sizing across a book of different cars, and the only figures involved are ones the store publishes openly.
Sending something when somebody is having a hard time - at a glanceKeep it small - candle ₹399, attar ₹379, car scent ₹449For their home - reed diffuser ₹749, nothing to switch onSay the words yourself - no card goes in the parcelNever - a parcel instead of turning up
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
Straight answer
Our insurance agency wants to send renewal customers something useful without making the gift expensive enough to distort policy economics. What fits?
A car perfume fits the brief, and the reasoning has two halves. The first is relevance: the thing you insure is a vehicle, and a sealed 12ml bottle is one of the few inexpensive objects that is unambiguously for the car rather than for the house or the desk. The customer already owns the vehicle it belongs in, which is why it survives being sent with a renewal notice, with no car present and nobody there to explain it. The second half is arithmetic, and here the honest answer is a boundary rather than a recommendation. SOSA publishes retail prices and nothing else. Those are ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml; ₹899 and ₹949 for the two-scent combos; ₹699 to ₹899 for a Discovery Set and ₹2,999 for the Pack of 9. Every 12ml scent comes as Spray (Strong scent-throw) or Hanging (Mild scent-throw) at the same price, so the form is a control decision rather than a budget one. What any of that means against a renewal premium is a calculation only your agency can do, and SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time to feed into it. Bulk orders are welcome and settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531; custom label or logo on product is the one branding option. All of it is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India, and a portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A renewal gift is never a single decision. It is a decision you have agreed to make again, on a schedule, for as long as the customer keeps renewing.
The published figures, in full: ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, spray or hanging at the same price. What that sits at against your renewal is your number and nobody else's.

Three things that decide a renewal gift, and repeatability comes first

Three things, and the first one is the one that separates a renewal gift from every other kind.

1
The periodic problem
Repeatability, not impact, is the constraint on a renewal gift
A renewal comes round on a schedule, and that single fact does more to decide this than any judgement about what a customer would enjoy. Whatever you send this year sets the shape of next year. Going down from it reads as a downgrade. Matching it is fine. Going up is the thing agencies do once and then live with.

So the useful question is not what makes the strongest impression at one renewal. It is what you would be comfortable doing every year without reopening the discussion, across a book that includes your smallest policies as well as your largest. A gift that only works at the top of your book is not a renewal gift, it is an exception, and exceptions are harder to administer than they look when there are several hundred renewals in a year.

A sealed 12ml bottle behaves well against that test for reasons that have little to do with fragrance. It is the same object for every vehicle on your book - no model, no size, no fitment. It is complete when it is sealed, so it can go with a renewal notice or be handed over at a meeting without changing. And it carries a published retail price you can check yourself, which matters when you are setting a standard you intend to repeat.
Tip: Ask what you could send every year, not what would impress at one renewal.
2
The numbers
The only figures that exist here are published retail prices
This needs saying plainly because the question invites a different answer. SOSA publishes retail prices and nothing beyond them. At 12ml: ₹449 Jasmine, ₹479 Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 Icy Mint, ₹499 Lemon, ₹509 Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. Two-scent combos are ₹899 and ₹949. A Discovery Set is ₹699 to ₹899, and the Pack of 9 is ₹2,999.

That is the complete list. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time published anywhere, and no trade programme or dealer pricing exists behind them. Bulk orders are genuinely welcome, but the quantity conversation happens on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than on a page.

And the part that is properly yours: what a gift may sit at against a renewal premium depends on your book, your commission structure and your retention practice, none of which SOSA knows anything about. A fragrance house that volunteered a figure there would be guessing with your money. Take the published prices, apply your own ceiling, and treat any number that arrives from outside your agency with suspicion.
3
The form and the gaps
Spray or hanging, and the three things nobody publishes
Both forms of every 12ml scent carry one price. The store's names say what actually differs - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - so the choice is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible. A spray waits in a door pocket; a hanging bottle takes the mirror from the moment it goes in. For a renewal customer you speak to once a year, the spray hands the decision to the person who actually drives the car.

SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in either form, for any scent. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499). Those belong to that scent. There is also no spray refill product at all - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and a spray system is described as in development, which you cannot order.

Branding is one thing only: custom label or logo on product. There is no custom box, no printed sleeve, no insert card and no ribbon. And the last gap is the one worth being blunt about: SOSA cannot tell you that customers will renew again because of a bottle, and it publishes no data on what a renewal gift does to anything. The mechanism is all there is - an object goes into the insured vehicle and gets used there.
Tip: Published prices, one branding option, and no figure at all about what a gift does.
SOSA Mysore Orange Blossom car perfume spray, Rs 549
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.

Work it out in this order
How an agency can settle a renewal gift it intends to repeat
  1. Set your own ceiling first. No supplier figure exists to set it for you.
  2. Test it against your smallest renewal, not your largest. That is the standard.
  3. Pick the form the customer controls. You are not in that car to hang anything.
  4. Take your renewal volume to WhatsApp. No rate is published to read first.
The SOSA principle
The trap in a renewal gift is that it is not really a gift decision, it is a policy decision you have to keep. Something chosen for the impression it makes once becomes an obligation you renegotiate every year, usually in the direction of costing more.
Which is why the useful test is the dull one: could you send exactly this again next year, and the year after, without thinking about it?

Which scent, what the rest of the range costs, and what SOSA will not publish

Eight scents, and across a renewal book you are choosing for people you know by policy number rather than by preference. Jasmine at ₹449 is the lowest published price in the range and soft and floral with it; Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean. Those two are the least likely to be actively disliked by somebody who did not choose them. Sandalwood at ₹479 and Icy Mint at ₹489 sit in between. Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at ₹509 are the top of the 12ml band and the ones with strong opinions attached. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Across several hundred renewals, carrying two or three scents rather than eight is the difference between a process and a project.

The SOSA gift edit
Four renewal gifts against the repeatability test
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
The 12ml spray · ₹449 to ₹509 A published price you can check, the same object for every vehicle on the book, and complete when sealed so it can travel with a renewal notice. It fails if your agency wants the gift to feel like an occasion - a small bottle is deliberately undramatic.
The 12ml hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509 Identical price, working from the moment it is hung, and it can be topped up later from a 15ml refill at ₹399 to ₹449. It fails with a customer who keeps their mirror clear, and a renewal book gives you no way of knowing which ones those are.
A combo or Discovery Set · ₹899 to ₹2,999 Two scents at ₹899 or ₹949, or three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios from ₹699. The sensible exception for a large renewal. It fails as a standard, because a standard is the thing you have to repeat on every policy next year.
A branded diary or calendar · your current spend Cheap, familiar and nobody has to explain it. It fails on relevance rather than on price: it has no connection to the insured vehicle, so the only thing linking it to the policy is your logo on the cover.
SOSA Car Perfume Discovery Set, three mini sprays
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.

The rest of the range, so you can see where the ladder goes. Two-scent combos are ₹899 for Jasmine with Lemon or Lavender, and ₹949 for Oud with Lemon or Sandalwood with Oud. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999; the trios are fixed rather than chosen. Refills at 15ml, ₹399 to ₹449, are for the hanging bottle. And the 50ml spray variant sits at ₹1,499, which is a different order of spend from a renewal gift and is listed here only so you are not surprised by it.

The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts: Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.

A renewal gift is not chosen once. It is chosen once and then honoured annually, which is why the only sensible test is whether you would still be comfortable sending it on the smallest policy on your book three years from now.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Product What it is What it is for Price
SOSA car perfume - Spray 12ml, published as Strong scent-throw Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own from ₹449
SOSA car perfume - Hanging 12ml, published as Mild scent-throw The same eight scents at exactly the same price. It diffuses continuously once it is in the car, and it hangs where the owner can see it from ₹449
Mysore Orange Blossom spray The only one publishing spray counts 10ml is about 100 sprays at ₹549; 50ml is about 500 sprays at ₹1,499. Published life: about 50 days at two sprays a day, 3 months and above at one ₹549

Car perfume combos Two scents in one box Jasmine + Lemon and Jasmine + Lavender at ₹899; Oud + Lemon and Sandalwood + Oud at ₹949. Each sold as Spray or Hanging at the same price from ₹899
Car hanging refills 15ml, for the hanging bottle ₹399 to ₹449 across the eight scents. These refill the hanging bottle. No spray refill is published from ₹399
SOSA Safar Waterless cordless diffuser, 6.9 cm ₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India ₹3,999

Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
  • Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
  • The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
  • Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
  • Refills - 15ml refills, ₹399 to ₹449, published for the hanging bottle. No spray refill is published.
  • Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.

A note from Sonal

The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.

So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.

The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.

And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.

Frequently asked questions

What is the published price of SOSA car perfume?
At 12ml: Rs 449 for Jasmine, Rs 479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, Rs 489 for Icy Mint, Rs 499 for Lemon, and Rs 509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver, with the spray and the hanging bottle at the same price. Two-scent combos are Rs 899 and Rs 949. A Discovery Set is Rs 699 to Rs 899 and the Pack of 9 is Rs 2,999. Those retail figures are the only ones SOSA publishes.
Is there a published figure for what a gift should be worth against a renewal premium?
No, and there could not honestly be one. That depends on your book, your commission structure and your own practice, none of which a fragrance house knows. SOSA publishes retail prices only, with no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time behind them. Set your own ceiling and treat any figure arriving from outside your agency as a guess.
Do we get better terms if we send these to a few hundred renewals a year?
Bulk orders are welcome and that conversation is genuinely open, but nothing about it is published - no rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time appears anywhere, and there is no trade programme or dealer pricing behind the scenes. Take your renewal volume and your timing to WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than looking for a published list.
How much use will a customer get from one 12ml bottle?
SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in either the spray or the hanging form, for any scent. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life, and it is spray only: approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml at Rs 549 and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml at Rs 1,499. Those figures are specific to that scent and should not be applied to the others.
Will a renewal gift stop customers moving to another insurer?
Nothing here can tell you that, and SOSA publishes no data of any kind on what a gift does to renewal behaviour. The only honest description is the mechanism: a small sealed bottle reaches a customer who owns the vehicle you insure, it needs no fitting and no explanation, and if the scent suits them they use it in the car. Whether that changes anything about what they do at the next renewal is your judgement and not a claim anyone should be selling you.

The 12ml bottle at ₹449 to ₹509, spray or hanging at the same price, is the repeatable rung. About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the buying reasoning applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: every SOSA car fragrance is published in two forms of the same 12ml product - Spray, described on the store as strong scent-throw, and Hanging, described as mild scent-throw - and the two forms are the same price. Those prices are Jasmine ₹449; Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479; Icy Mint ₹489; Lemon ₹499; and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Each of those products also carries a 50ml car perfume spray at ₹1,499. Mysore Orange Blossom is sold as a spray only, at ₹549 for 10ml and ₹1,499 for 50ml, and is the only car scent publishing a spray count: approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml, stated as about 50 days at two sprays a day and three months and above at one spray a day. Car perfume combos are ₹899 for Jasmine with Lemon and Jasmine with Lavender, and ₹949 for Oud with Lemon and Sandalwood with Oud. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in one of eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Car hanging freshener refills are 15ml at ₹399 to ₹449. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, and is made in India. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios, is a waterless cordless portable diffuser of approximately 6.9 cm with a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off; its country of origin is China. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
