This is an operations question wearing a gifting question's clothes, and it deserves an operations answer. On a weekend at that volume the gift is not handed over by the person who chose it. It is handed over by whoever is free, to a family who are watching the car rather than the object, in the ninety seconds between the paperwork and the photographs. Anything that needs a model checked, a size matched, a surface prepared or a sentence of explanation will be got wrong, skipped, or quietly dropped from the process within two months. The specification is therefore extremely short, and very few products meet it.
Built for the busiest afternoon of the month. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - the same bottle for a hatchback and a seven-seater, in two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). No model to check, no tools, no bay time and no script. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
What delivery gift needs no fitting or explanation at a busy handover? A sealed 12ml bottle. SOSA car perfume is ₹449 to ₹509, and it is the same object for a hatchback and a seven-seater - no model-specific sizing, no fitting, no tools and no demonstration. Two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw).
What makes a delivery gift fail at 30 to 40 cars a weekend? Three things, in order: anything model-specific, because somebody will match it wrongly; anything that has to be fitted, because it takes a bay and a person; and anything that needs explaining, because the explanation is the first thing dropped when a queue builds. A sealed bottle avoids all three.
Does a car perfume need anything explained to the customer? No. A spray is understood on sight and a hanging bottle hangs on the mirror. There is nothing to activate, nothing to size and nothing your staff have to be trained to say. If you want a sentence, the whole of it is the scent name and the fact that it is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant.
The short answer
Short answer: Choose something that is identical for every model and needs no fitting. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, the same object for a hatchback and a seven-seater, with spray and hanging at the same price. No bulk rate is published; quantities go to WhatsApp on +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The spray, at ₹449 to ₹509 - handed over in one movement, understood on sight, and identical for every car on your floor.
Why: No model to check, no size to match, no tools, no bay time and no script. At 30 to 40 cars a weekend that is the entire specification.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We deliver 30 to 40 cars on a busy weekend. Our staff need a gift they can hand over with no model-specific sizing, no installation and no explanation. What works?
A 12ml car perfume meets that specification almost exactly, and it is worth saying why rather than just asserting it. It is one object.SOSA car perfume at 12ml is the same bottle whether the customer is taking a hatchback or a seven-seater, so there is no variant to match to a model and nothing for a member of staff to get wrong under pressure. It needs no fitting. No tools, no bay time, no surface preparation, nobody kneeling in a footwell while a family waits. And it needs no script. A spray is understood on sight; a hanging bottle hangs on a mirror. Prices are published at ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver, each in two variants at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - so the form is decided on control and visibility, never on budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. The operational advice that goes with it: carry two or three scents rather than eight, because every extra option is a decision at a desk that has none to spare. On quantities, there is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no price break, no per-unit figure and no trade programme - bulk orders are welcome, custom label or logo on product is the one branding option, and it is settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The test is not whether the gift is good. It is whether it survives being handed over by somebody who was not part of choosing it, on the busiest afternoon of the month.
One object for every car on the floor: the spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - no model to check, no fitting, no script, and the same price as the hanging bottle.
The three ways a delivery gift fails on a busy weekend
Three failure modes, in the order they show up once volume arrives.
1
Failure one
Anything model-specific will eventually be matched to the wrong car
A gift that comes in sizes, fits, or vehicle-specific versions works perfectly while one person runs the process and fails the first weekend that person is not there. Somebody reaches into the wrong box. The customer notices at home. The item then costs you a phone call, an apology and usually a replacement, which is several times the item price and all of it unbudgeted.
The fix is not better training, it is removing the variable. One 12ml bottle is the same bottle for every car you sell, from the smallest hatchback to the largest seven-seater. There is nothing to match, so there is nothing to mismatch.
If you carry more than one scent, keep the number small and keep the scents visually distinct, so a member of staff reaching quickly is not choosing between eight near-identical boxes. Two is comfortable, three is manageable, eight is a mistake you will discover on the busiest Saturday of the quarter.
Tip: Remove the variable rather than training around it. One object, every model.
2
Failure two
Anything fitted takes a bay, a person and a queue
Fitting is where delivery gifts quietly die. It needs somebody with hands free, it needs the car stationary in a place that is not the photograph position, and it takes minutes you do not have when four families are waiting. At 30 to 40 cars a weekend, five minutes each is a person's entire shift spent on the gift rather than on the handover.
A 12ml bottle takes no bay time in either form. A spray is placed in the customer's hand or in the door pocket. A hanging bottle loops onto the mirror in a second, though it is worth noting that even that second is a decision made inside somebody else's car.
Which is the other reason the spray usually wins at volume. Both forms are published at the same price - Jasmine ₹449 either way, Oud ₹509 either way, named by the store as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - so nothing is saved or spent by choosing one. The spray is simply the version that can be handed over in a single movement and leaves the cabin exactly as the customer found it.
3
Failure three
Anything that needs explaining stops being explained
Watch any handover process that includes a scripted sentence. It is delivered in full for a fortnight. After that it shortens, and by the second month it has disappeared entirely, because the queue is real and the script is the only optional thing in the sequence. A gift whose value depends on the script then stops delivering any value at all, and nobody notices for a quarter.
So choose something that needs no script. A spray bottle explains itself. If your staff want a line, the whole of it is the scent name and that it is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India - a single sentence, and optional.
Two things to know before you commit, both of them absences. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no per-unit figure and no trade programme; bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. And SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in either form, for any scent - the only exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, at about 100 sprays in the 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays in the 50ml (₹1,499).
Tip: If the value depends on somebody saying a sentence, the value disappears by month two.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
Making this survive a 40-car weekend, in four moves
Remove every variable. One 12ml bottle, Rs 449 to Rs 509, fits every model.
Refuse anything that needs a bay, a tool or a person kneeling in a footwell.
Cut the script. If it needs explaining, it stops being explained by month two.
Carry two scents, three at most. Eight boxes is a mistake found on a Saturday.
The SOSA principle
The gift that survives at volume is not the most thoughtful one. It is the one that can be handed over correctly by somebody who was not in the meeting where it was chosen, on the afternoon when four families are waiting.
That test removes almost everything from the shortlist, which is why the answer ends up being small, sealed and identical for every car on the floor.
How few scents to carry, and what is not published about any of them
Carry two, three if somebody owns the desk. Jasmine at ₹449 is soft and floral and the least likely to be disliked by a buyer nobody has asked. Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean and sits close to how a new car already smells. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm third if you want one. Lavender is ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, and Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud are ₹509 - the last three have the strongest characters and are better handed to a customer you know than to a queue. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. One plain statement, since a busy delivery bay is often also a cleaning question: a fragrance adds a scent. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify a smell, and it does not clean the air, so it is not a substitute for preparing the car properly.
The SOSA gift edit
Four delivery gifts against the handover-desk test
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
The spray · ₹449 to ₹509
Passes every part of the test: one object for every model, no fitting, no bay time, no script, handed over in a single movement. It fails only if your handover needs the gift to be the visual event, because a sealed 12ml bottle is deliberately quiet.
The hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509
Also needs no tools and no model matching, and it is working from the moment it is looped on. It fails slightly on the desk test because somebody has to enter the cabin to place it, and on the ownership point because it is visible in a car you do not own.
A fitted accessory · varies by model
Feels substantial, looks like genuine value and suits a flagship delivery. It fails hardest at volume: it needs a bay, a person and model matching, which is three of the failure modes on this page in one object.
A Discovery Set · ₹699 to ₹899
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, still with nothing to fit or explain, and more presence on a tray for a top-variant handover. It fails on cost discipline across 30 to 40 cars a weekend, and the eight trios are fixed.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
Three neighbouring options, and where they sit against a busy weekend. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - workable for a flagship delivery, not for the whole weekend, and the trios are fixed rather than assembled to order. Two-scent combos start at ₹899. 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published - a spray refill system is described as in development, which is not something you can order. Further up, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, which belongs to chauffeur-driven and fleet cars rather than to a delivery bay.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
Design the gift for the worst afternoon of the month, not the best one. If it works when four families are waiting and the person handing it over was not in the meeting, it works every other day too.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Does a car perfume need any fitting or model-specific sizing?
No. The 12ml bottle is the same object for every car on your floor, from the smallest hatchback to a seven-seater, so there is no variant to match to a model. A spray is handed over or placed in a door pocket; a hanging bottle loops onto the mirror. No tools, no bay time, no surface preparation and nothing for a member of staff to get wrong on a busy afternoon.
Do staff need to explain anything to the customer?
No. A spray is understood on sight and a hanging bottle needs no instruction either. If you want your staff to say something, the whole of it is the scent name and that it is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. That sentence is optional, which matters, because on a busy weekend the optional sentence is the first thing that stops being said.
How many scents should we carry for a weekend at that volume?
Two comfortably, three if one person owns the handover process. The limit is not money, because the entire eight-scent range spans sixty rupees, it is the number of near-identical boxes somebody is choosing between while a queue builds. Keep the scents visually distinct and keep the number small.
Is there a rate for a showroom ordering every month?
There is none published, and this page will not invent one. No bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, per-unit figure or trade programme appears anywhere, and there is no rate card or dealer pricing behind the scenes. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available as the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Which form is quicker to hand over at a busy desk?
The spray, by a small margin, because it can be handed across in one movement without anybody entering the cabin. The hanging bottle takes a second to loop on, which is still fast. Neither costs more than the other, since they are two variants of the same 12ml product at one price, published as Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw.
Take the next step
One object, every model, no script - then talk quantities
The spray at ₹449 to ₹509 when it has to be handed over in one movement by whoever is free. The hanging bottle at the same price when you want the scent present from the first drive. No bulk rate, minimum or per-unit figure is published, so bring your weekend volume to WhatsApp - custom label or logo on product is available.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the buying reasoning applies to any brand.
Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: every SOSA car fragrance is published in two forms of the same 12ml product - Spray, described on the store as strong scent-throw, and Hanging, described as mild scent-throw - and the two forms are the same price. Those prices are Jasmine ₹449; Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479; Icy Mint ₹489; Lemon ₹499; and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Each of those products also carries a 50ml car perfume spray at ₹1,499. Mysore Orange Blossom is sold as a spray only, at ₹549 for 10ml and ₹1,499 for 50ml, and is the only car scent publishing a spray count: approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml, stated as about 50 days at two sprays a day and three months and above at one spray a day. Car perfume combos are ₹899 for Jasmine with Lemon and Jasmine with Lavender, and ₹949 for Oud with Lemon and Sandalwood with Oud. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in one of eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Car hanging freshener refills are 15ml at ₹399 to ₹449. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, and is made in India. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios, is a waterless cordless portable diffuser of approximately 6.9 cm with a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off; its country of origin is China. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
