The exception: a genuinely open 450–500 sq ft living-dining is the one room here bigger than a Sukoon's rating, and the only place a Vaayu at ₹11,999 earns its keep — alongside bedroom Sukoons, never instead of them.
2. Two at ₹3,798 is the honest starting point. Living/dining and master bedroom, six 15ml Hotel Collection bottles between them. It is a legitimate place to start rather than a legitimate place to stop, because in a four-room flat it means naming two rooms you are leaving out rather than one.
3. Nine 15ml bottles arrive with three machines. Three of your choice with each unit, which is why the third machine never feels like buying the same thing again: ₹5,697 buys three machines and a fragrance wardrobe deep enough to run a different scent behind every door and still rotate by season.
4. A fourth machine at ₹7,596 is rarely the best next step. It covers a room most households are not awake in and leaves four tanks to empty, rinse and refill weekly. Three machines plus a 300ml 300ml refill is ₹7,496 — a hundred rupees less, and it improves the rooms you actually stand in.
5. Only a genuinely open living-dining changes the machine. At 350–500 sq ft flowing into the entrance and corridor, it is the first room in this range bigger than a Sukoon's rating, and the one place a waterless Vaayu at ₹11,999 — up to 1000m³, app and timer, under 38dB — is a real option. Bedrooms keep their Sukoons either way, and a walled 3BHK does not need it at all.

Step one: how many machines, and where each one stands
SOSA makes several home and commercial scenting systems and only three of them are relevant to a 3BHK — the Sukoon for the rooms you live in, the Boond for a bathroom, and, in one specific layout, the Vaayu. Everything else in the range exists because a 1,600 sq ft flat and a 15,000 sq ft lobby are not the same problem, and I would rather say plainly which parts of the catalogue you can ignore than let a comparison table imply you need them. The deciding number is 270–320 sq ft. The deciding concept is the enclosed air mass: fragrance is stopped by doors long before it is exhausted by distance, which is why the same 1,600 sq ft would need one machine as a loft and three or four as a 3BHK.
Step two: every 3BHK setup, compared
These are the configurations 3BHK households actually buy, with what each one costs, what arrives in the box and what it honestly delivers. The row worth staring at is the fourth: three machines plus a refill costs a hundred rupees less than four machines and does considerably more for the rooms you are actually standing in.

Step three: the fragrances, the budget and what to skip
Start with the fragrances, because this is where a 3BHK differs most from a smaller flat and where the money is best spent. All seven Hotel Collection scents are water-based and formulated for ultrasonic diffusers, all seven are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels, and all seven are good. But you now own three or four doors, so the question is not which scent you like best — it is which three put the greatest useful distance between the room you arrive in, the room you sleep in and the room somebody else sleeps in. Ritz-Carlton-inspired (white tea, bergamot, cedar) belongs in the living/dining: clean with lift, dry enough to live beside an Indian kitchen, and the scent that registers in the first four seconds after the front door opens. St. Regis-inspired (amber, violet, woods) belongs behind the master bedroom door, where richness is comfortable rather than tiring because you are conscious in there for a couple of hours rather than sixteen. Westin-inspired (white tea, aloe, cedar) belongs where somebody else sleeps — the driest and most neutral of the seven, which is precisely the point in a guest room or a child's room. If a bedroom has become a study, the 1 Hotels-inspired (cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves) is the fourth scent worth owning, because it wears across eight working hours where anything sweeter starts to feel like company you did not invite. Choose for the distance between the bottles rather than the description of each — three scents you separately admired can turn out to be one idea told three times. Then the budget, in the order the rungs actually come. At ₹749 a reed diffuser scents a corner of one room, with no socket and no routine — the honest floor of the range. At ₹1,899 you have one Sukoon with three 15ml bottles of your choice, which does part of the living/dining and leaves three bedrooms exactly as they were; in a 3BHK that is a gesture rather than a setup, and I would rather say so. At ₹3,497 that single machine is joined by a reed duo set at ₹1,598 covering two waiting bedrooms — the honest budget version of a scented flat. At ₹3,798 you have two machines with six bottles, in the two rooms that hold most of your day. At ₹5,396 those two machines are joined by a reed duo set, so no room in the flat has nothing. At ₹5,697 you have three machines and nine bottles, which is the recommendation for this home. At ₹7,496 a 300ml 300ml refill joins them — roughly ₹6 per ml against about ₹20 per ml in 15ml bottles, so your everyday scent is never rationed across three tanks — and that is a hundred rupees less than the ₹7,596 four-machine setup and a better flat. Three machines, a refill and a Boond at ₹899 for a bathroom is ₹8,395, and adding the Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799 for a seasonal rotation takes it to ₹10,194. Staging works unusually cleanly here because nothing you buy first is superseded: the second and third machines are the same unit at the same price, every bottle fits every tank, and a refill bought today serves a machine you have not bought yet. Buy the living/dining first, the master bedroom within a few weeks, and the third when a room's life changes — the priority order is set out in which rooms should get the first two machines.
What to skip, plainly. A fifth Sukoon — a 3BHK has four enclosed rooms and a couple of bathrooms, and a bathroom wants an ₹899 Boond rather than a ₹1,899 machine rated for 270–320 sq ft. The Megh at ₹3,499 — a genuinely good 6-litre unit whose large tank solves refill frequency in one big room, which is not the problem you have; it still occupies exactly one room, and in a flat with four doors the next machine always beats the bigger machine. The Vaayu at ₹11,999, unless your living-dining is genuinely open — it is a waterless cold-air nebuliser running undiluted oil, rated for up to 1000m³ of connected space, with a Bluetooth app and timer and under 38dB of noise, and being waterless it adds no humidity, which matters in a coastal flat during monsoon. Its job is connected volume: an open living, dining and entrance with no door anywhere in it. It will not cross a bedroom door any more than an ultrasonic machine will, so it goes alongside Sukoons rather than instead of them, and a walled 3BHK does not need it. Aangan at ₹25,999 and Meenar at ₹38,500 are HVAC systems for 8,000–10,000 and 12,000–18,000 sq ft — hotel floors and showrooms rather than homes. And essential oils: the Sukoon is a 2.4MHz water-based unit and thicker essential and carrier oils clog the misting plate, so it runs SOSA's own water-based Hotel Collection fragrance and nothing else.

The 3BHK is the home where my answer stops being a single sentence, and I have decided that is honest rather than unhelpful. In a studio, a 1BHK and a 2BHK I could give somebody a number and a reason and be done. Here there are four doors instead of three, the fourth room is usually the one nobody has decided about, and the living-dining is large enough that for the first time the machine itself is worth questioning rather than just the count.
So the shape of the advice is this. Three Sukoons at ₹5,697 is the answer for a standard partitioned 3BHK, two at ₹3,798 is the honest place to start, and the fourth ₹1,799 is better spent on a refill than on a fourth machine. Nothing you buy first is superseded — the machines cost the same in November, the bottles move between every tank, and a refill bought today serves a machine you have not bought yet. Put three different scents in the three tanks, because the change at each threshold is the entire point. And where I will genuinely change my recommendation is the open plan: if your living, dining and entrance are one uninterrupted 450 sq ft with a corridor running off it, that room wants a Vaayu and your bedrooms still want Sukoons. What I will not do is sell an ₹11,999 machine to a flat with four internal doors and a walled sitting room, because it would not do what the invoice implied.
