Six people should buy this machine, and I can describe all of them. That number is deliberately small, because ₹11,999 is a serious sum in India and a cold-air nebuliser is a specialist tool rather than a premium version of a diffuser. Each of the six has a different reason, and none of the reasons is "it smells stronger." A schedule set once and locked cannot drift, and the key-lock means a guest who finds the unit cannot turn it up on their first evening and leave the next arrival with a room that reads as heavy. Two honest boundaries for this buyer. Mist does not reach bedrooms behind doors, so budget for reed diffusers as well. And nobody can promise that any of this moves a rating, a review, a booking or occupancy — there is no data for it, and what you are genuinely buying is the guest's experience of the first ninety seconds after the door opens.

Six buyers, six reasons, and not one of them is "it smells stronger."
Strength is bought in the composition and in the number of sources. What ₹11,999 buys is volume, schedule, dryness and a setting nobody can change.
Part three — the near-misses, and where each should spend instead
Four buyers look like one of the six and are not, and they are the ones I most want to catch before the money leaves. The first is the large-but-divided house. Three thousand square feet across eight closed rooms is eight scenting problems, not one; a machine in the hall covers the hall and stops. The right spend is reed diffusers room by room — a four-bedroom plan comes to roughly ₹10,000 at our listed prices — and possibly a Sukoon at ₹1,899 in the living area if you want a switch. The second is the multi-listing host with several small flats. One machine covers one address, so a portfolio does not create a case for a single ₹11,999 unit; it creates a case for one ₹1,899 unit per property.
The third is the buyer whose actual problem is a smell. Damp in a monsoon, a drain, a bin, a fridge, a shut-up week — no diffuser at any price removes an odour. A machine adds fragrance to air; it does not clean air, purify anything, kill anything or change how anyone feels, and fragrance layered on top of an existing smell produces a third smell nobody designed. Open the windows for twenty minutes, deal with the source, close up, wait half an hour, and only then scent. The fourth is the buyer who assumes ₹3,499 is the halfway house. It is not: the Megh covers around 215 sq ft, less than the Sukoon's 270–320, because its six litres buy roughly a hundred hours of runtime and a great deal of humidity rather than reach. There is genuinely nothing between ₹1,899 and ₹11,999 for coverage, and I would rather say so than sell the middle.
And one final near-miss that is really a timing question. If you fit one of the six perfectly but you need to know the machine can be resupplied for years, you are not a "no" — you are a "not yet." Ask SOSA what cold-air fragrance is available and whether your chosen combo can be repeated. If the answer satisfies you, buy with confidence; if it does not, run reed diffusers meanwhile and revisit. Naming that as a legitimate reason to wait is the least I can do on a page whose job is to sell the machine.

Who is the SOSA Vaayu actually built for?
Six buyers: the owner of a genuinely open large home of roughly 500m³ or more of connected volume; the owner of a second home that stands empty; the host of one large villa listing; the owner of a small commercial space up to about 3,000 sq ft; the owner of a coastal or high-monsoon property; and the owner of a double-height room. Each buys it for a different reason, and none of those reasons is raw strength.
I have a big house but lots of closed rooms. Am I one of the six?
Probably not. Fragrance treats a closed door as a wall, so a 3,000 sq ft house divided into eight rooms is eight scenting problems rather than one. Reed diffusers room by room are the right answer there — a four-bedroom plan comes to roughly ₹10,000 at our listed prices — with a Sukoon at ₹1,899 in the living area if you want something with a switch.
Can I buy refill oil for the Vaayu?
Not from SOSA at the time of writing. It ships with four 100ml cold-air fragrances — 400ml in total, specified at 90+ days per fill — and no separate Vaayu refill oil is currently sold. The water-based Hotel Collection is a different product made for ultrasonic machines and must not go in a Vaayu despite the shared scent names. If long-term supply matters to you, confirm availability with SOSA before purchasing.
Which fragrance combo should I choose?
All three cost the same and are picked at checkout. Combo 1, The Luxury Hotel Collection, is the most classically hotel-like — white tea, bergamot and cedar alongside amber, violet and woods. Combo 2, Fresh & Relaxing, leans lighter with jasmine, green tea and citrus. Combo 3, Signature Luxury, is the warmest and most characterful, with amber, pepper and vetiver in it. Choose one and hold it; a signature is a discipline, not a rotation.
My space is bigger than 3,000 sq ft. Is the Vaayu still right?
Past roughly 1000m³ of connected volume you are outside the specification, and the answer moves to the ducted Aangan at ₹25,999 for about 8,000–10,000 sq ft, or the Meenar at ₹38,500 for 12,000–18,000. Those are commercial installations rather than plug-in units, so ask SOSA about installation and terms — neither is verified here.
