Why the sticker price is not the cost
Three numbers make up the real cost of scenting a 3BHK, and only one of them appears on the product page. The first is hardware: ₹1,899 per Sukoon, three or four of them. The second is fragrance, which for the first several months is zero, because each machine ships with three 15ml bottles and a three-machine flat therefore starts with nine. The third is the one that actually decides whether this was money well spent: the machines you bought for rooms you do not use. A diffuser in an empty study is not a ₹1,899 mistake — it is ₹1,899 plus its share of every refill you buy afterwards, for as long as you keep filling it out of a sense of obligation. Nobody budgets for that line and it is regularly the largest single inefficiency in a flat this size.
The second thing the sticker price hides is that this purchase does not have to be simultaneous. Four Sukoons bought across four months cost ₹7,596, exactly as they do bought in one order, and the staged version gives you information the single order cannot. After a month with one machine you know how often you switch it on. After two you know your real fragrance consumption and can size a refill properly instead of guessing between a ₹999 hundred-millilitre and a ₹1,799 three-hundred. After three you know whether the last bedroom is a bedroom. Staging is the only genuinely free optimisation in this whole budget, and it is also the reason I never push a four-machine bundle at somebody who has not yet owned one.

Running costs, and the three levers that lower them
The largest lever on your running cost is the timer, not the dose. A Sukoon will run 16 to 18 hours on low, and a household that leaves three machines running through the day gets through fragrance several times faster than one that uses the 4H setting in the public zone and 2H in the bedrooms. It also smells worse, because a room diffusing since morning registers as nothing to the people in it and as far too much to anyone arriving. Timers are free, they are on the remote, and they are the difference between refilling twice a year and refilling every few weeks.
The second lever is the dose, and specifically not matching bedroom doses to living-room doses. Five to six drops per tank in the public zone, three to four in a bedroom. Three to six drops is the general guidance for the Hotel Collection, and in a 3BHK you will sit at the lower end more often than you expect — a smaller sealed room behind a shut door concentrates far more than an open living space. Cutting a bedroom from six drops to three does not halve the effect; it usually improves it while halving the consumption.
The third lever is bottle size, which only pays once you are certain. A 100ml is from ₹999 and a 300ml is ₹1,799 — about ₹6 a millilitre, so the big bottle is meaningfully better value, but only for a fragrance you have already lived with for a season. Buying a 300ml of something you have used twice is the most common way to overspend here. Beyond that, the maintenance rules are the same as anywhere: rinse the tank when you change scents, use filtered water in hard-water cities to keep the misting plate clean, and never substitute raw essential or carrier oils, which are too viscous to atomise and will foul the machine.

I would rather quote the whole number than have somebody discover it in instalments. A completely scented 3BHK is ₹7,596 of hardware and a bottle or two of fragrance a year. That is the truth of it, and most people need less.
The part of this budget I argue with customers about is the refill line, because they arrive expecting it to be the expensive one. It is not, unless you run three machines flat out all day, which produces a flat that smells of nothing to you and of too much to everybody else. Use the timers. A 300ml bottle at ₹1,799 works out at about ₹6 a millilitre and, at sensible doses on sensible schedules, a 3BHK does not get through it quickly.
Buy one machine. Live with it for a month. Buy the second. If the third bedroom still looks like a bedroom in month four, buy the fourth machine then. The total is identical, the regret is much lower, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
