There is no single fragrance that makes a house smell luxurious, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling one bottle. What makes a house read as luxurious is a register that suits the house it is in, held at a level nobody has to notice, in air that is genuinely clean. So this page does the useful thing instead: it takes the seven hotel-inspired registers SOSA actually makes, describes each by character, matches them to the kind of house they belong in, and tells you which of the three Vaayu bundles contains which.
Quick answers — read this first
Which SOSA fragrance makes a home smell luxurious? The one that matches the house it is in, held gently. SOSA makes seven hotel-inspired registers. Ritz-Carlton-inspired is white tea, bergamot and cedar - a bright polished calm for marble, glass and daylight. Westin-inspired is white tea, aloe and cedar - serene and spa-like, the quietest of the seven. 1 Hotels-inspired is cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves - dry, green and barefoot, for stone, timber and plants. St. Regis-inspired is amber, violet and woods - plush and evening-elegant for dark wood and low lighting. Shangri-La-inspired is jasmine, green tea and white tea - a tea-and-jasmine register that sits naturally in an Indian house with a garden. Four Seasons-inspired is citrus, floral and sandalwood - bright and sociable. W Hotels-inspired is citrus, pepper and amber - the boldest and most characterful. Four of the seven come with the Vaayu at Rs 11,999, chosen as Bundle A, B or C. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations and SOSA is not affiliated with any hotel brand.
Which Vaayu bundle should I choose? Choose by the character of your house. Bundle A is Ritz-Carlton-inspired, Westin-inspired, St. Regis-inspired and 1 Hotels-inspired - the broadest spread, with two clean white tea registers, one green woody one and one plush evening one, which makes it the safest choice if you are undecided. Bundle B is Westin-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and Ritz-Carlton-inspired - the softest and most floral-friendly set, good for a bright sociable house with a garden. Bundle C is St. Regis-inspired, W Hotels-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired and Four Seasons-inspired - the most characterful set, with the two boldest registers in it, for a house with dark wood, drama and evening entertaining. All three come with the Vaayu at Rs 11,999 as waterless blends in the box.
Which of the seven registers is the strongest? There is no published ranking of the seven by throw, longevity or intensity, and we will not invent one. What is honest to say is that character differs: a heavier amber-and-woods register such as the St. Regis-inspired blend reads as more present in a room than an airy white-tea one such as the Westin-inspired blend, which is a perceptual observation rather than a measurement. How present any of them feels in your house is set by three things you control - the machine, the intensity setting and the volume of air you are filling - far more than by the blend. So choose by character rather than by an imagined strength ranking, and set the level to suit the room and the people in it. For anything about ongoing fragrance supply, message us on WhatsApp.
The short answer
Short answer: No single fragrance makes a villa luxurious - a register that suits the house, held at a level nobody notices, in genuinely clean air does. SOSA's seven hotel-inspired registers: Ritz-Carlton-inspired (white tea, bergamot, cedar) for marble and daylight; Westin-inspired (white tea, aloe, cedar), the quietest, spa-like; 1 Hotels-inspired (cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves) for stone, timber and plants; St. Regis-inspired (amber, violet, woods) for dark wood and evenings; Shangri-La-inspired (jasmine, green tea, white tea) for a garden house; Four Seasons-inspired (citrus, floral, sandalwood), bright and sociable; W Hotels-inspired (citrus, pepper, amber), the boldest. Four arrive with the Vaayu at Rs 11,999 - Bundle A, B or C. There is no published ranking by throw or intensity; character only. SOSA is not affiliated with any hotel brand. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999, four hotel-inspired blends included in the box) for the connected living volume of a villa; reeds from ₹749 for a single bedroom or bathroom; a single room done properly from ₹899; the Aangan (₹25,999) ducted into central air-conditioning for genuine whole-home coverage.

A villa is not one room, it is a set of connected volumes and a set of closed doors, and the two need different answers. Whole-home scenting means one fragrance held evenly across the part of the house you actually live in - the entrance, the living room, the dining - running on a schedule so it is already there when someone walks through your front door, and already there when you come home yourself. The bedrooms, the guest bathroom and the study get their own quiet solutions. Nobody in the house has to remember anything.
Which SOSA register suits which kind of villa - and which bundle contains it?
Seven registers, matched to houses. Ritz-Carlton-inspired - white tea, bergamot, cedar. A bright, polished calm; the register for marble, glass and a lot of daylight. Bundles A and B. Westin-inspired - white tea, aloe, cedar. The quietest and most serene of the seven, spa-like and hard for anybody to dislike; the safest choice for a house full of guests. Bundles A and B. 1 Hotels-inspired - cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves. Dry, green and grounded; the register for stone, teak, courtyards and planting, and the driest of the seven. Bundles A and C. St. Regis-inspired - amber, violet, woods. Plush and evening-elegant; for dark wood, brass and low lighting, and because a warm amber-and-woods character reads as more present in a room than an airy white-tea one, it wants a lighter hand. Bundles A and C. Shangri-La-inspired - jasmine, green tea, white tea. Tea and night-blooming jasmine, which sits naturally in an Indian house with a garden. Bundle B only. Four Seasons-inspired - citrus, soft floral, creamy sandalwood. Bright, polished and sociable. Bundles B and C. W Hotels-inspired - citrus, pepper, amber. The boldest and most playful, and the one to dose most carefully. Bundle C only. All four blends in your chosen bundle arrive in the box with the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999. The water-based Hotel Collection at ₹299 is a different format for the ultrasonic machines only. Clean and air the house first. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531. Made in India; a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

The seven registers, and the houses they suit
Character rather than ranking, houses rather than adjectives, and then the bundle arithmetic.
Why this works at home
Picking a register without guessing from a paragraph
The whole-home answer: the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 - waterless, app-scheduled, ~1000m³, and it arrives with four hotel-inspired blends in the box. A single bedroom or guest bathroom starts on reeds from ₹749.
Here are the seven, honestly. Westin-inspired reads white tea, aloe and cedar: serene, cool and spa-like, the quietest of the set and the one nobody objects to. Ritz-Carlton-inspired reads white tea, bergamot and cedar: the same calm with a brighter citrus lift, a hushed and polished character. 1 Hotels-inspired reads cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves: dry, green, earthy and grounded, the least sweet of the seven. St. Regis-inspired reads amber, violet and woods: powdery, warm and plush, the richest register in the range. Shangri-La-inspired reads jasmine, green tea and white tea: a tea garden with night-blooming jasmine in it, floral without being heady. Four Seasons-inspired reads citrus, soft florals and creamy sandalwood: bright, polished, welcoming. W Hotels-inspired reads citrus, pepper and amber: zesty, peppery, sultry, the boldest and most playful. What you will not find here is a ranking by throw, longevity or intensity, because no such data is published and inventing it would be dishonest. What is fair to say is perceptual: a heavier amber-and-woods register reads as more present in a room than an airy white-tea one. How present any of them actually feels in your hall is decided by the machine, the setting and the volume of air.
Tip: choose by character, because throw is set by the machine, the setting and the size of the room rather than by the blend.
2
The match
Let the materials of your house make the decision
Stop reading descriptions and look around. A bright marble-and-glass villa with a lot of daylight wants something clean and cool: Ritz-Carlton-inspired white tea and bergamot, or Westin-inspired white tea and aloe. A stone, teak and courtyard house - an Alibaug or Goa villa, anything with planting at the door and a lot of natural texture - wants 1 Hotels-inspired cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves, which is the register that reads as expensive in that kind of architecture and nowhere near as well in a white minimal box. A formal villa with dark wood, brass and low lighting, used mostly in the evening for dinners, is where St. Regis-inspired amber, violet and woods belongs, dosed with a lighter hand. A house with a garden, open verandas and a lot of Indian character suits Shangri-La-inspired jasmine, green tea and white tea, and jasmine is not a borrowed idea here - it carries associations of home and welcome for a great many families. A polished, sociable house that hosts in daylight suits Four Seasons-inspired citrus, floral and sandalwood. And a house with genuine drama - colour, art, late nights - can carry W Hotels-inspired citrus, pepper and amber, kept low.

The bundle
Four in the box, and which four is a real decision
The Vaayu at ₹11,999 arrives with four hotel-inspired waterless blends in the box, chosen as one of three bundles at checkout, which is worth understanding properly because it is the part most people skim. Bundle A is Ritz-Carlton-inspired, Westin-inspired, St. Regis-inspired and 1 Hotels-inspired: two clean white tea registers, one dry green woody one and one plush evening one. It is the broadest spread and the safest choice if you are undecided, because it covers calm, green and warm in a single box. Bundle B is Westin-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and Ritz-Carlton-inspired: the softest and most floral-friendly set, built around tea, jasmine, citrus and sandalwood, and the natural choice for a bright house with a garden that entertains in daylight. Bundle C is St. Regis-inspired, W Hotels-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired and Four Seasons-inspired: the most characterful set, containing both of the boldest registers, for a house with dark wood, drama and evening entertaining. Two registers appear in only one bundle each, so if you specifically want Shangri-La-inspired you need Bundle B, and if you specifically want W Hotels-inspired you need Bundle C. Everything else appears in two of the three. These are waterless blends for the Vaayu; the ₹299 Hotel Collection is water-based and belongs in the ultrasonic machines only.
Tip: Shangri-La-inspired lives only in Bundle B and W Hotels-inspired only in Bundle C - everything else appears in two of the three.
The SOSA principle
No fragrance makes a villa luxurious on its own. A register that suits the house it is in, held at a level nobody has to notice, in clean air, does.
Seven registers described by character and never ranked by strength, matched to materials rather than adjectives, with four arriving in the box to audition at home.

The SOSA home edit
Whatever the house looks like, the logic is the same: one scent, sized to the volume that is genuinely connected, running on a schedule so nobody in the family has to remember it. A single bedroom or a guest bathroom is happy on reeds with no power at all; the living room you actually live in wants a machine; the whole villa with central air-conditioning wants the ducts doing the work. Every SOSA system is made in India, cruelty-free and vegan, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Here is where each one belongs.

Honest notes before you buy anything. Coverage ratings assume connected air volume. A machine cannot push scent through a closed bedroom door, and it never will - so a partitioned villa is not one scenting problem but several, and honest sizing means saying so out loud rather than selling you one machine and hoping. Scent the volume that is genuinely open to itself, then give the closed rooms their own quiet answer, usually a reed diffuser. Fragrance never substitutes for ventilation or cleaning. If a room smells damp, stale or of last night's cooking, open it, air it and clean it first; scent added on top of that only makes a more complicated bad smell. A home is not a lobby you pass through. Households include children, elderly parents, pregnant family members and pets, all of whom breathe this air far longer than any visitor does, which is why gentle dosing is the default at home and why the settings we suggest are lower than the machine can run. Anyone in the house reporting a headache is a recalibration signal, not a complaint to argue with - turn it down or turn it off, and tell us. The Vaayu runs waterless nebulising oil and comes with the four hotel-inspired blends; the Hotel Collection bottle is water-based and belongs in the ultrasonic machines only. The two formats are not interchangeable. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with or endorsed by any hotel brand. ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
There is a difference between a room that smells nice and a home that has a signature, and almost nobody is told what it is. A room that smells nice is an event: you light a candle, you spray something in the hallway before people arrive, it is lovely for forty minutes and then it is gone. Somewhere else in the house a bathroom gel is doing one thing, a kitchen spray another, and a bedroom reed a third. Four pleasant smells in four rooms is not a fragranced home. It is four rooms.
A signature is the opposite. It is one scent, sized to the house, running on a schedule - so it is already in the air when someone walks through your front door, and already there at eleven at night when you come home yourself, and nobody has lifted a finger to make it happen. That is the whole trick the great hotels use, and it is not complicated: they do not chase smells room by room, they hold one fragrance across the volume people actually move through. In a villa that usually means the entrance, the living room and the dining as one connected space, with the closed rooms handled separately and quietly.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and I have sized this for houses across India, and I would rather tell you honestly that your layout needs two answers than sell you one machine that disappoints you. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 with your home's approximate size, the number of floors and a line about the layout - open plan, closed rooms, central air-conditioning or split units - and we will give you a free sizing recommendation. I read those descriptions myself. Everything is made in India, cruelty-free and vegan, and a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Your home gets a memory; a girl gets a classroom.
Frequently asked questions
Which of the seven is the safest choice if I am buying without smelling first?
The white tea registers, because they are the quietest and the hardest for anybody to object to. The Westin-inspired blend of white tea, aloe and cedar is serene and spa-like; the Ritz-Carlton-inspired blend of white tea, bergamot and cedar is the same calm with a brighter citrus lift. Neither is sweet, both are clean and dry, and both flatter almost any kind of house - marble, wood, painted plaster - which matters when everybody who visits will meet the choice without having any say in it. If you want more character while staying on safe ground, the 1 Hotels-inspired cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves is the driest and greenest of the seven. The genuinely useful answer for anyone undecided is that the Vaayu at Rs 11,999 arrives with four of these blends in the box, so you audition four registers in your own rooms rather than committing from a description. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations and SOSA is not affiliated with any hotel brand.
Which bundle has the most useful spread?
Bundle A, if you are undecided, because it covers the widest range of characters in one box: Ritz-Carlton-inspired and Westin-inspired give you two clean white tea readings, 1 Hotels-inspired gives you the dry green woody direction, and St. Regis-inspired gives you the plush evening one. That means you can try calm, green and warm in your own house before settling. Bundle B is the softest set - Westin-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and Ritz-Carlton-inspired - and it is the right choice for a bright house with a garden that hosts in daylight, since it is the only bundle containing the tea-and-jasmine register. Bundle C is the most characterful - St. Regis-inspired, W Hotels-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired and Four Seasons-inspired - and it is the only bundle containing the bold citrus, pepper and amber register. If a specific register is the reason you are buying, check which bundle it lives in before you choose.
Which register lasts longest or throws furthest?
We do not publish comparative throw, longevity or intensity data for the seven registers, and we are not going to invent it, because a made-up ranking would be the least useful thing on this page. What is honest and genuinely useful is that character differs and perception follows character: a heavier amber-and-woods register such as the St. Regis-inspired blend reads as more present in a room than an airy white-tea one such as the Westin-inspired blend. That is a perceptual observation, not a measurement. In practice, how present any register feels in your house is decided by three things you control - which machine you are running, what intensity it is set to, and the volume of air you are filling - and those matter far more than which of the seven you chose. Choose the character that suits your house, then set the level to suit the room and the people sitting in it. For anything about ongoing fragrance supply, message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it directly.
Can I use the Rs 299 Hotel Collection in a Vaayu?
No, and this is the one thing worth getting exactly right. The SOSA Hotel Collection at Rs 299 for 15ml is water-based and made for the ultrasonic machines only - the Boond at Rs 899, the Sukoon at Rs 1,899 and the Megh 6L at Rs 3,499, all of which mist a water and fragrance mixture into a room. The Vaayu at Rs 11,999 is a waterless cold-air machine that nebulises undiluted oil with no water and no tank, and it comes with four hotel-inspired waterless blends already in the box, chosen as Bundle A, B or C at checkout. The two formats are not interchangeable in either direction. The seven registers exist in both formats, so if you love the Shangri-La-inspired reading you can meet it as a water-based Hotel Collection bottle in an ultrasonic and as a waterless blend in a Vaayu - they are simply different products for different machines. For ongoing fragrance supply for a Vaayu, message us on WhatsApp.
Can I run different registers in different parts of the house?
You can, and in most houses you should not. A nose reads two unrelated registers meeting at a doorway as confusion rather than as layering, and the transition point is exactly where somebody walks - which is why a house with a different pleasant scent in every room ends up feeling like a sequence of unrelated decisions rather than one place. The honest exception is the rooms behind closed doors, which are separate volumes of air anyway: a guest bathroom or guest bedroom on a reed diffuser from Rs 749 can carry a softer expression, and the instruction there is to stay in the same family rather than to choose something new for variety. If you genuinely want to change, change the whole connected volume at once rather than drifting, and change rarely, because a register that changes every few months never becomes the smell of your house.

Facts verified August 2026: The SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebulising machine covering approximately 1000m³, with Bluetooth app and timer scheduling. It ships with four hotel-inspired waterless blends included in the box, chosen as one of three bundles at purchase: Bundle A - Ritz-Carlton Inspired, Westin Inspired, St. Regis Inspired, 1 Hotels Inspired; Bundle B - Westin Inspired, Shangri-La Inspired, Four Seasons Inspired, Ritz-Carlton Inspired; Bundle C - St. Regis Inspired, W Hotels Inspired, 1 Hotels Inspired, Four Seasons Inspired. Format distinction: the Vaayu and the HVAC systems run waterless nebulising oil, while the separate SOSA Hotel Collection fragrance (15ml ₹299) is water-based and runs in the ultrasonic machines only - Boond (₹899), Sukoon (₹1,899) and Megh (₹3,499). The two fragrance formats are not interchangeable, and the Hotel Collection bottle does not go into a Vaayu. SOSA Aangan (₹25,999) and SOSA Meenar (₹38,500) are HVAC nebulising systems for approximately 8,000-10,000 sq ft and 12,000-18,000 sq ft respectively, ducted into central air-conditioning. Reed diffusers need no power and make no noise: Morning Freshness ₹749, Garden Bloom ₹799, Evening Calm ₹799, Mountain Breeze ₹849, Fresh Brew ₹849; 130ml from ₹1,249; duo sets ₹1,498, ₹1,548 and ₹1,598. Scent perception is personal and varies between people in the same room, and coverage figures assume connected air volume rather than a partitioned floor plan.
