Drops, doses and when each machine runs
Dose is how you zone a flat without changing fragrance at all, and it is underused. Four to five drops of Hotel Collection per tank is right for a 2BHK living/dining area; three is right for a master bedroom; two to three is plenty in a 110 sq ft second bedroom. The general guidance across the range is three to six per tank, and a flat this size lives in the lower half of it. Running the identical scent at five drops in one room and three in another produces a genuine sense of public and private space, which is most of what people are trying to achieve when they buy three different bottles.
Placement modifies dose, so settle position first. The living room machine wants to be about a metre up on a sideboard, on the seating side and away from the passage mouth; the bedroom one across the room from the bed.
