What it leaves out: the second bedroom.
How to cover that: a reed diffuser from ₹749 now, and a third Sukoon at ₹1,899 when the room starts being used.
2. The two rooms are the living/dining and the master bedroom. One is where most of your waking hours happen and the room the front door opens into; the other is where a fragrance you chose does its most private work. Between them they hold nearly all of your day.
3. What you give up is the second bedroom. At 100–130 sq ft it is the smallest of the three and usually the least used — which is exactly why it is the right thing to postpone, and exactly why it feels conspicuous the first time a guest sleeps in it.
4. Six 15ml Hotel Collection bottles arrive with the pair. Three of your choice with each machine, so ₹3,798 buys two machines and a fragrance wardrobe rather than two machines and two empty tanks.
5. The third machine is ₹1,899 whenever you get to it. Nothing about buying two first is wasted — same machine, same price, and the fragrances move freely between all three tanks.

Which two rooms, and why
If you are buying two machines for a three-room flat, the interesting question is not whether to buy them — it is which two rooms get them. Most people assume the answer is obvious and then place the second machine somewhere that quietly wastes it. The reasoning below is about hours and thresholds rather than favourites.
The pairings, compared
Six ways of spending roughly this money in a 2BHK, with the honest verdict on each. The starred row is what I would recommend to most households buying two machines — but two of the alternatives are correct for specific lives.
| Which two rooms | Cost | What it gives you | What it leaves out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Living/dining + master bedroom ★ | ₹3,798 | The arrival and the wind-down; six 15ml scents; a change at the bedroom threshold | The second bedroom |
| Living/dining + second bedroom | ₹3,798 | Right when the second bedroom is a home office or a child's room you sit in daily | Your own bedroom, which most people regret |
| Master + second bedroom | ₹3,798 | Both bedrooms scented, both on timers | The room the front door opens into — the one guests judge |
| One Sukoon + a Boond | ₹2,798 | One room and a bathroom, on shared fragrance bottles | Two of the three rooms you live in. Not a two-room setup |
| One Sukoon + reeds in both bedrooms | ₹3,497 | All three rooms given something; the honest budget version | Control, timers and real coverage in bedrooms |
| Three Sukoons | ₹5,697 | Every enclosed room, permanently, with nine 15ml scents | Nothing — this is where the flat is finished |

What you give up, and how to cover it
Start by being specific about the loss, because it is smaller than it sounds and larger than people plan for. The second bedroom in an Indian 2BHK is 100–130 sq ft, which is the least air in the flat and the least traffic. Nine days out of ten nobody is in it, and its being unscented costs you nothing. The tenth day is the problem: a friend stays after a wedding, or your child moves a desk in there, and the room is suddenly the one part of a considered flat that nobody considered. Whether that matters depends entirely on how often your tenth day comes round.
The stopgap I would use is a reed diffuser from ₹749 — the 130ml bottle is ₹1,299 and the duo set ₹1,598. Reeds have three limitations and in a spare bedroom all three work in your favour: they scent a corner rather than a room, so they never overwhelm a small space; they cannot be timed, which matters not at all in a room nobody is scheduling; and they need no socket. Put one on the chest of drawers and the room reads as looked-after rather than empty. A scented candle from ₹379 does a related job on the evening somebody actually arrives, and gives you light as well as fragrance.
Then there is the sequence. The third Sukoon is ₹1,899 — the same machine at the same price, arriving with three more 15ml Hotel Collection bottles, taking the flat to nine scents across three tanks for ₹5,697. Nothing is replaced, so the only cost of waiting is that the second bedroom is on reeds for a few months. What I would resist is spending that ₹1,899 on anything other than the third room. A Megh at ₹3,499 is a 6-litre tank in one room; a Vaayu at ₹11,999 is a waterless nebuliser for up to 1000m³ of connected space and will not cross a bedroom door any more than a Sukoon does. In a partitioned flat, the next machine always beats the bigger machine.
The SOSA 2BHK edit
The two-machine setup as a shopping list, with the third machine where it belongs — near the top, and no more expensive for being bought later.
| Buy | What it does | When it earns its place | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Two Sukoons ★ | Living/dining and master bedroom; 270–320 sq ft each; six 15ml scents between them | Now — the two rooms that hold most of your day | ₹3,798 |
| 2. Reed diffuser | The second bedroom, quietly, with no socket and no routine | The same week — it is the cheapest way to stop the room feeling forgotten | from ₹749 |
| 3. A third Sukoon | The second bedroom properly; nine 15ml scents across the flat | When somebody sleeps or works in there regularly | ₹1,899 |
| 4. 300ml refill | Your everyday scent across every tank, at about ₹6 per ml | After a month, once one of the six bottles has won | ₹1,799 |
| 5. Hotel Collection 15ml | A third character, so the rooms stop resembling one another | When the master bedroom starts smelling like the living room | ₹299 |
| Not this: Vaayu | Waterless nebuliser, up to 1000m³ of connected space | It will not cross a bedroom door. Buy the third Sukoon | ₹11,999 |
Versailles
I like this question because the honest answer has a condition attached, and conditions are usually the first thing a brand removes. Two Sukoons in a 2BHK is a good purchase. It is also, unavoidably, a decision to leave one room out, and the households that are happy with two machines a year later are the ones who knew that on the day they ordered.
So my advice is procedural rather than persuasive. Before you buy, stand in the second bedroom and ask who uses it and how often. If the answer is nobody, buy two machines and a reed diffuser and stop there. If the answer is a child, a parent, a flatmate or your own desk, buy three at ₹5,697 and be done with it — nine fragrances across three rooms, and no room in the flat that anybody has to apologise for. Either answer is fine. The one I would avoid is buying two and hoping the third room stops existing.
