Does a bigger flat need more bottles? No. Bottles serve rooms behind doors, and a large 2BHK has the same two bedrooms and two bathrooms as a small one, so the count does not move.
When does a large 2BHK justify a machine? When the living-dining is genuinely large or L-shaped, so that serving it evenly with one bottle no longer works, and when you want the level to change with time.
Large changes one half of the answer and not the other
A large 2BHK is a useful case because it isolates the two halves of this question cleanly. Compared with a compact 2BHK, exactly one thing has changed in a way that matters, and exactly one thing has not, and separating them prevents the most common overspend at this size. Start with what has changed: the hall. A large 2BHK typically has a substantially bigger living area, and very often that space is not a simple room but an L, running from the entrance around to a dining zone and a balcony door. That reopens the machine question, and the reason is geometry rather than capacity. A single passive source in a long or angled space does not distribute evenly. It produces a noticeable presence within a couple of metres of itself and very little at the far end, because output falls away with distance rather than levelling out. The instinctive response - move to something stronger - fails in a specific way: the pocket near the source becomes heavier while the far end stays empty. The correct responses are two points placed apart, in exactly the way a long room is lit with two modest lamps rather than one bright bulb, or a machine that disperses actively rather than passively. Two points is the cheaper answer and it works: a reed at each end of an L-shaped living-dining, at console or table height rather than on the floor where still air makes a pool. A machine is the answer if you also want timing - the level quieter at three in the afternoon and present at seven in the evening when somebody walks in with an unadapted nose, or built up before guests arrive. In a large 2BHK hall that is a Sukoon at Rs 1,799, or a Megh at Rs 3,499 with its 6L tank if the connected living-dining is genuinely substantial, remembering that a tank is refilled every few days and rinsed between scents and is the small recurring job that quietly stops being done. Now what has not changed, and this is the half where money gets wasted. A large 2BHK has the same two bedrooms and the same two bathrooms as a compact one. The rooms may be bigger, but bedrooms and bathrooms are small volumes at any flat size and a single passive source serves each of them properly. So the bottle count is identical: one reed in each bathroom, one in each bedroom, one just inside the entrance. Four or five, exactly as in a 600 square foot 2BHK. The instinct that a bigger flat needs proportionally more of everything is wrong here, because bottles serve rooms rather than area, and the number of rooms did not change. It is worth adding the two placement notes that matter more in a bigger flat. Bedrooms take the lightest level in the home regardless of their size, because dwell time is long, everybody adapts within an hour and the occupant cannot leave the room - and the source should be something they can move, cap or remove without asking anybody. The entrance is the highest-value position in the flat at any size, because everybody who lives there has adapted and perceives very little, which makes arrival the only moment anybody experiences the home properly; in a large flat it is also further from wherever the machine sits, which is another argument for a permanent source there rather than relying on a cycle. Two things large 2BHKs tend to add that are worth naming. The first is a covered balcony, sometimes a generous one, and it cannot hold fragrance at all - the air exchanges continuously with the outside, so anything released is gone immediately regardless of product or setting. That is a refusal rather than a challenge. The second is an open kitchen, which is common in larger flats and makes extraction more important rather than less: with the hob a few metres from the seating and no door between them, cooking smell reaches the sofa, curtains and rug within seconds and is released slowly for days afterwards. Using the extraction every single time does more for a large 2BHK than any product on this page.
What size changes, and what it cannot
What size changes, and what it cannot. The half that changes, the hall: if the living-dining is long or L-shaped, two points placed apart rather than one stronger source, at console or table height rather than on the floor where still air makes a pool - a reed diffuser at each end works, or the SOSA Sukoon at Rs 1,799 if you also want the level to change with time, or the SOSA Megh at Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank for a genuinely substantial connected living-dining, remembering that a tank is refilled every few days and rinsed between scents. The half that does not change, the bottle count, identical to a compact 2BHK: a reed in each bathroom, one in each bedroom at the lightest level in the home from a source the occupant can move, cap or take out of the room without asking anybody, and one just inside the entrance as a permanent presence, which matters more in a large flat because the entrance sits further from wherever the machine is - Morning Freshness at Rs 749, Garden Bloom at Rs 799, Evening Calm at Rs 799, Fresh Brew at Rs 849, Mountain Breeze at Rs 849, three to four months per bottle, refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml, or the SOSA Boond at Rs 799 at the door. Not a flat product at any size: the SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999, rated for up to 1,000 m², roughly 10,700 square feet. Fragrance for machines: Hotel Collection at Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, at three to six drops per tank, rinsing between scents; it is not reed diffuser oil and the two are not interchangeable. Two things large 2BHKs often add: a covered balcony, which cannot hold fragrance at all because the air exchanges continuously, and an open kitchen, which makes extraction over the hob more important rather than less, since the hob may be metres from the seating with no door between them. Never scented: the kitchen at any time, the dining area during a meal, children's rooms, and covered balconies. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards.
| Scent | Why it suits the mood |
|---|---|
| The hall · ₹1,799 | Bigger, often L-shaped. Two points, or a machine |
| The bottle count · from ₹749 | Identical. Four or five, exactly as in a compact 2BHK |
| The balcony | Cannot hold fragrance. A refusal, not a challenge |
| The open kitchen | Makes extraction more important, not less |
The door-count argument is in the 2BHK chapter, whether you need a machine at all is in the whole-home chapter, and the count is in the diffuser count chapter. Everything gathers in the BHK guide.

Versailles
Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.
And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.
Frequently asked questions
Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer).
