You are measuring the room in the wrong unit
Almost everyone compares rooms by floor area, and floor area is not what fragrance fills. Air is three-dimensional, so the honest unit is volume: floor area multiplied by ceiling height. Do it for your own two rooms and the mystery usually dissolves in one line of arithmetic. A 60 sq ft bathroom under a 10 ft ceiling contains 60 x 10 = 600 cubic feet of air; divide by 35.3 and that is about 17 cubic metres. A 150 sq ft bedroom under the same ceiling contains 150 x 10 = 1,500 cubic feet, about 42 cubic metres. The bedroom is not "a bit bigger". It is two and a half times the air, and the bottle evaporating into it has not changed at all. Spread the identical amount of fragrance through two and a half times the space and the concentration anywhere in that space falls to a fraction of what the bathroom holds. That single sum, done honestly, explains most of what you are experiencing before airflow is even mentioned.

One room keeps its air, the other is constantly emptying it
Volume tells you how much air there is to scent. Air exchange tells you how long the scent gets to stay in it. Here the two rooms are opposites. A bathroom door is closed most of the day, the window is small or frosted shut, and the exhaust fan runs for a few minutes after a shower rather than all evening. Scented air accumulates in a sealed little chamber, which is why walking in feels like opening a jar. A bedroom is designed to do the reverse. The ceiling fan stirs and thins the air continuously, the AC moves and dries it, the door is open for most of the day and a window or balcony often is too. Every one of those quietly removes scented air at roughly the same speed the reeds can produce it, so the concentration never gets a chance to build. Add the bathroom's shower warmth and steam, which raise evaporation and help scent hang in the air, and the contrast becomes complete.

Reason three
A reed cannot push, so it cannot compensate
If a reed diffuser had any way of working harder in a bigger room, this article would not need to exist. It does not, and that is the design rather than a defect. Oil travels up the reeds by capillary action and evaporates into whatever air is touching the sticks; the room's temperature and movement set the pace, and no part of the object adds energy or direction. So the fragrance is at its strongest in the air immediately around the bottle and thins out from there, and it has no mechanism for reaching the far side of a 42 cubic metre room against a ceiling fan. This is why adding sticks does not solve it either - more reeds raise the evaporation rate, so the air near the bottle gets stronger and the bottle empties sooner, but nothing gains the ability to travel. Honest notes before you spend anything. A reed diffuser is passive, and its scent is strongest at the bottle. When someone writes to me and says the reed diffuser smells wonderful up close but they cannot smell it from the bed, my first answer is always the same: nothing is wrong, and you did not buy the wrong thing. A reed diffuser is a passive object. It holds oil, the reeds draw it up, the room's warmth and air take it away at their own pace. It has no way of carrying scent to you, and it was never built to.
So the real question is not which fragrance is stronger. It is which job you want done. If you want a quiet, pleasant presence in the corner of a bathroom or beside a bed, a reed is still the most elegant thing I sell, and I would rather you kept it than replaced it. The same 150 sq ft bedroom holds 1,350 cubic feet under a 9 ft ceiling, which is about 38 cubic metres, 1,500 cubic feet under 10 ft, about 42 cubic metres, and 1,650 cubic feet under 11 ft, about 47 cubic metres. So a taller room asks roughly ten per cent more of the same bottle for every extra foot of height, and old flats with generous ceilings are quietly harder to scent than their floor plans suggest. It also matters where the fragrance sits: warm scented air rises, so in a high room a good part of what evaporates ends up above your head rather than at the height where you sit or sleep. None of this is fixable by the bottle. It is one more reason a bigger room wants an active diffuser rather than a bigger passive one.
Should I just close the bedroom door and windows to make it work?
It genuinely helps and it is worth trying for a week before you spend anything. A closed door and closed window slow the rate at which scented air leaves, and switching the fan off while you are not in the room lets concentration build instead of being stirred away. What you will probably find is that the bedroom becomes noticeably better than it was and still not the bathroom, because volume has not changed and a 42 cubic metre room sealed shut is still two and a half times a 17 cubic metre one. There is also a limit worth respecting: a bedroom is a room you sleep in, and ventilation and fresh air come before fragrance every time. We would never suggest keeping a room shut to improve a scent. Improve what you can with placement, then decide whether the remaining gap is worth an active diffuser.
Would a second reed diffuser in the bedroom fix it?
It gives you a second good-smelling corner rather than a scented room, so before you spend Rs 749 again it is worth being clear about what you would be buying. Two passive bottles create two zones of concentration, each strongest where it stands and each fading from there, with the middle of the room still thin. They do not combine into even coverage because neither has any means of carrying scent outward. If your bedroom happens to have two places you genuinely spend time in, such as a bedside and a reading chair, then two reeds is a reasonable way to serve both spots and we would not talk you out of it. If what you want is to open the door and have the room smell of something, the same money moves you to a Boond at Rs 899 with a Hotel Collection bottle at Rs 299, and that is an active machine that does the job you are actually describing.
Is the humidity in the bathroom what is making the fragrance stronger?
It is part of it, alongside the warmth. A steamy bathroom after a shower is warmer than the rest of the house, and warmth raises the rate at which oil evaporates from the reeds, so the bottle is briefly producing more. The humidity then helps scent molecules hang in the air rather than settling out quickly, which is why the effect can feel almost dense for a while after bathing. Both of those are temporary and they sit on top of the two permanent advantages, which are the small volume and the shut door. That is also why the bathroom effect does not transfer: running a humidifier in your bedroom would not reproduce it, because the bedroom's problem is 42 cubic metres of moving air, not dryness. Chase the volume and the airflow, not the steam.
If I move the reed diffuser to the bedside table, will that be enough?
It is the single best free change you can make and it is worth doing tonight. Put the bottle at roughly seated or lying nose height rather than on the floor or a low shelf, keep it out of the direct path of the fan and away from the window, and place it in the part of the room you genuinely occupy, which for most people is the bed. You will smell it far more than you did, because you have moved yourself into the strongest part of a passive system instead of expecting the system to come to you. What placement cannot do is convert passive diffusion into active diffusion, so the far corner of the room will stay quiet.
