The money: three Sukoons is ₹5,697. One Vaayu is ₹11,999 and can only be in one room.
The dealbreaker: the Vaayu is waterless. It nebulises neat oil and cannot use the water-based Hotel Collection at all.
2. The Vaayu's rating assumes one connected volume. A thousand cubic metres is an enormous figure, and it describes joined-up air — a villa ground floor, a double-height lobby. A 2BHK is that volume chopped into four or five sealed boxes. It cannot push fragrance through a bedroom door, and no machine can.
3. It can only be in one room. This is the part the specification sheet does not tell you. Whatever the Vaayu is rated for, it is a physical object standing in one place, so ₹11,999 gets you one scented room and two unscented ones. ₹1,899 gets you the same room.
4. It cannot use the Hotel Collection. The Vaayu is waterless. It nebulises neat fragrance oil directly, with no tank and no water, so the water-based Hotel Collection — 15ml ₹299 to 300ml ₹1,799 — is not compatible with it in any quantity. The same is true of the Aangan at ₹25,999.
5. Buy a Vaayu when the geometry changes, not when the budget does. It is the right machine for large connected open space — villa ground floors, duplex common areas, double-height rooms, open-plan homes above roughly 2,000 sq ft of joined area. Those are jobs a fleet of ultrasonics genuinely cannot do.

Why the bigger machine loses in a flat of small rooms
The Vaayu is a genuinely capable piece of equipment and I sell it for jobs it is right for. It is a cold-air nebuliser: it breaks neat fragrance oil into a dry micro-mist without heat and without water, which is why it can fill volumes an ultrasonic never could and why its output holds up across a large space. The rating is 1000 m³ — at a three-metre ceiling, well over three thousand square feet of floor. But every one of those cubic metres has to be joined to the next. The machine is designed to fill a single continuous body of air, which is what a hotel lobby, a showroom or a double-height villa living room actually is. A 2BHK is the opposite geometry: roughly 700 to 1,100 square feet divided into a living-dining space, two bedrooms with doors, a kitchen, a bathroom and a passage. Put a Vaayu in the living room and the bedrooms are exactly as unscented as they were before, because a shut door stops fragrance almost completely regardless of how much of it you are producing.
Then there is the fragrance itself, which is the part that catches people out after the purchase. Both the Vaayu and the Aangan are waterless machines that run neat oil — there is no tank to fill and nothing to dilute — so the water-based Hotel Collection cannot be used in them at all. It is not a matter of it working less well; the two systems are simply incompatible. If you have chosen a SOSA scent for your flat and then buy a Vaayu, you have bought a machine that cannot run it. A Sukoon at ₹1,899 takes three to six drops of that same fragrance in a 500ml tank.
The three decisions

What each machine actually runs, and how
A Sukoon is filled with water to the line and given three to six drops of the water-based Hotel Collection. In a 2BHK that means four to five drops in the living room and two to three in a bedroom, because a smaller enclosed room reads the same dose as stronger. It runs 16 to 18 hours per fill on low and 9 to 12 on high, but you should be using the 2H and 4H timers rather than either — an hour before you use the living room, thirty to sixty minutes before bed in the master. A 15ml bottle at ₹299 is enough to test a scent across many fills; a 300ml at ₹1,799 works out around ₹6 per millilitre and supplies several machines for months.
A Vaayu works nothing like that. There is no water and no tank — neat fragrance oil goes in and is atomised into a dry mist, controlled through a Bluetooth app with scheduling and intensity settings. That is the correct design for a large connected space, where you want continuous low-level output and no added humidity. It also means the machine is locked to oil formulated for waterless nebulising: the water-based Hotel Collection cannot be used in it, and neither can anything you have already bought for a Sukoon. The Aangan at ₹25,999 is the same principle ducted into a building's HVAC for 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft.
Which leaves placement, and here the Sukoon route has a quiet advantage nobody advertises. Three machines can be tuned independently — different doses, different schedules, and if you want, different scents in different rooms — while one big machine gives you a single setting for whatever it can reach. In a home where the living room is busy at eight in the evening and the bedroom wants something quieter at eleven, that is a real benefit rather than a theoretical one. Keep each machine a metre off the floor, out of the path of a fan or AC, and use filtered water in hard-water cities. And do not treat a Megh as the middle ground: at ₹3,499 it covers 215 sq ft, less than a Sukoon, and exists for 100-hour runtime in one dry room.

I would rather sell you three Sukoons than one Vaayu for a flat, and not out of modesty about the Vaayu. It is a machine designed for a problem you do not have. Its whole engineering premise is a large connected volume of air that needs consistent output, and a two-bedroom flat is the precise opposite of that.
The part I want people to hear before they order is the fragrance one. The Vaayu and the Aangan are waterless — they nebulise neat oil, there is no tank and no water — so the Hotel Collection cannot go in them. Every week someone asks me which of the seven scents to put in their new commercial machine, and the answer is none of them — a poor conversation to have after the money has changed hands.
