What we answer
"Sample villa still smelling of paint, adhesive and new joinery."
Ventilate and wait. Fragrance over curing solvent is a cover-up and smells like one
Source first
What we specify
"Sales gallery with a nine-metre ceiling."
Size for the volume; a room-scale machine in that hall is simply undersized
Ceiling height
What we specify
"Developer wanting the whole sample villa scented."
The four rooms buyers stay in. The rest is corridor and gets nothing
Dwell
What we specify
"Private negotiation room off the main lounge."
Lower than the lounge, because that is where people sit for an hour
Negotiation
What we answer
"Cost questioned against the value of one villa sale."
That comparison justifies anything. It belongs in the project upkeep line
No claims

One register across the company, yes. One setting across the sites, no, and the difference between those two is where multi-site schemes usually come apart.
Quick answers — read this first
Should a developer use one scent across all its sales centres? One register across the company keeps the brand coherent and simplifies procurement, but each room is sized and set separately because volumes, ceiling heights and dwell patterns differ by site.

What causes multi-site drift? Each site has staff who adapt and raise a level they cannot perceive, with nobody comparing across locations. Within a year several sites are at levels nobody chose.

What prevents it? A written standard with per-room settings, key-locked machines, one named owner, and a monthly check. A SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 per volume, from ₹299.
The short answer
Short answer: One register, separate sizings. Drift is the enemy, and it is prevented with a document, a lock and a monthly check.
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 for a sales lounge or sample-villa living volume up to about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, the Aangan at ₹25,999 for a large high-ceiling gallery, SOSA reed diffusers from ₹749 for negotiation rooms and bedrooms, on Hotel Collection fragrance from ₹299.
Sizing? WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 with sales gallery volume and ceiling height, sample villa layout, and which four areas buyers actually spend time in - remote sizing from your own measurements, no site visit needed outside Pune.
How SOSA sizes a commercial space - the order that actually worksStep 1 - find the source: solvents, sanitiser, footwear, drains, AC filters, stale airStep 2 - draw the air volume, not the floor plan: doors and partitions divide itStep 3 - decide which zones stay unscented, and write that downStep 4 - set intensity low and schedule it around your peakStep 5 - re-check after two weeks, then leave it alone
Commercial scenting goes wrong in a predictable order: somebody buys a machine to cover a smell that has a source, puts it where the socket is, runs it at full intensity because day one felt weak, and ends up with a room people comment on for the wrong reason. Source first, air volume second, unscented zones written down third, low intensity and a schedule fourth. This guide walks that sequence, with the real SOSA machine range at each size.
Straight answer
Should one signature scent run across a developer's apartment, villa and plotted-development sales centres?
One register across the company, with every other variable decided per site. The register should be shared for two reasons: a buyer looking at more than one of your projects experiences them as one company, and a single fragrance across every site makes stock, reordering and staff training straightforward over a multi-year sales cycle. Everything else should be local. An apartment sales centre, a villa gallery with a nine-metre ceiling and a plotted-development site office are different volumes with different heights, and the same setting in all three produces three completely different results. Dwell patterns differ too - a plotted-development office may see short visits while a villa gallery holds families for two hours - and long dwell means lower settings. The failure mode is drift, and it is entirely predictable. Each site has a team that adapts within fifteen minutes and nudges the level upward because they genuinely cannot smell it; nobody compares across locations; within a year the sites are at three or four different levels that nobody decided, which is precisely the inconsistency the shared register was meant to prevent. What prevents it is administrative: a written standard naming the register, the setting for each room at each site, unit locations and refill intervals; key-locked machines so a level cannot be changed on a shift; one named person responsible across all sites; and a monthly check that each unit is running and stocked, because an empty machine looks exactly like a working one and nobody on site notices for weeks. Specification: a SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 per volume, the Aangan at ₹25,999 for large galleries, on one Hotel Collection register from ₹299. SOSA makes no claim that scenting affects enquiries, site visits, conversion or sale value. Fragrance is an ambience decision and never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or source control. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
One line: one bottle for the company, one setting per room, and a monthly check across all of it.
Sized per site, identical in the bottle: a SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999, the Aangan at ₹25,999 for large galleries, fragrance from ₹299.

One register, many sizings

Multi-site consistency sounds like a brand problem and is almost entirely a documentation problem.

Why this works
Running several sites
1 Choose one register for the company and write down why 2 Size and set every room individually, by volume and by dwell 3 Key-lock the machines and record each setting in a standard 4 One named owner, and a monthly check that every unit runs and is stocked
The machine most Jaipur sales galleries use for the main presentation volume: the SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 - waterless, under 38 dB, app and timer control, key-locked. Fragrance from ₹299.
01
Copying settings is the error
Three sites, three different rooms
A setting that produces a quiet background in a tall villa gallery is much stronger in a small plotted-development office, so sites that copy each other's numbers end up at genuinely different intensities while believing they are aligned. The smallest room on the smallest site is always the one that is too strong, and it is usually the site nobody visits from head office.
Tip: The smallest site is always the one that is too strong.
02
Nobody is comparing
Which is how drift survives
Each sales team judges its own site against its own adapted noses, and no one experiences two sites on the same day with a fresh nose. Drift is therefore invisible from inside the company until a buyer or a senior visitor notices. A named owner who visits with the standard in hand is the only practical correction, and once a year is enough.
03
Empty machines are invisible
Across five sites, one is out
When fragrance runs out, the team adapts to its absence as readily as to its presence, so nothing signals the failure. Across several sites the probability that one is currently unscented is high unless somebody checks on a schedule - which makes the monthly check the highest-value line in the whole standard, above the choice of register.
Tip: Across five sites, one of them is out of fragrance right now.
The SOSA principle
Three sites, three adapted teams, three quiet adjustments, and a brand standard that no longer exists.
A document, a lock and a monthly check is the whole fix.

Keeping sites from drifting

Because the register is shared across the company, changing it means changing every site at once, which is one more reason to choose something durable and unremarkable at the outset.

The SOSA commercial range

Whatever the space, the method is the same: find the source of any smell and fix it, draw the air volume rather than the floor plan, write down which zones stay unscented, then set a low intensity and a schedule. Every SOSA fragrance is alcohol-free and made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Here is the range by the size of space it is honestly built for.

The SOSA commercial range
Sized by air volume, not by ambition - from a ₹749 reed diffuser to the ₹38,500 Meenar
Option Right for What it actually is Price
Reed diffusers One small room, no power point, no maintenance Alcohol-free reed oil, passive, silent. Good for a single cabin or a small front desk, not for a hall from ₹749
Boond / Sukoon ultrasonic A desk, a single cabin, a small reception Water-based cool mist; runs on Hotel Collection fragrance, adds a little humidity to the room ₹899 / ₹1,899
Megh ultrasonic (6L) A larger waiting area where visible mist is wanted 6L tank, water-based. Still a room machine rather than a floor machine ₹3,499
SOSA Vaayu Reception, lounge, corridor, a contained showroom floor Waterless cold-air, up to 1000m³ (about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft), 400ml tank, app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under 38 dB, key-lock for public areas ₹11,999
SOSA Aangan Large premises, or scenting carried on the building's own HVAC HVAC-mount nebulising machine, 800ml, roughly 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, under 42 dB ₹25,999
SOSA Meenar Hotels, large showrooms, venues, corporate floors The largest machine in the range, specified for roughly 12,000 to 18,000 sq ft ₹38,500
Hotel Collection fragrance The fragrance the machines actually run on Seven scents, 15ml / 100ml / 300ml. SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand from ₹299
Honest notes for developers: fragrance is an ambience decision only and never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or source control. Newly completed sample homes off-gas paint, adhesive, sealant and joinery odour for a period after handover, and the correct response is ventilation and time rather than added fragrance. Sizing is by air volume including ceiling height, not floor area, and rooms where visitors sit for extended periods should be set lower than circulation areas. Visitors include children and fragrance-sensitive people, so restrained registers are recommended. SOSA makes no claim that ambient scenting increases bookings, enquiries, conversion, retention, referrals, transaction value or guest spend, and no such claim should be made on the strength of this guide. Where memory or association language is used it is descriptive of ordinary experience - people come to associate a place with how it felt - and is not a commercial performance claim, nor a claim about mood, sleep, stress, calm or any other therapeutic effect. Ultrasonic diffusers and the machines run on the Hotel Collection fragrance; reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil, and the two are not interchangeable. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any hotel brand. SOSA's fragrances are made in India; the scent machines are imported. Listed prices are store prices and are subject to change. SOSA's paid on-site walkthrough is ₹1,500 and is Pune only - everywhere else, sizing is done remotely over WhatsApp from your own measurements. SOSA Sukoon ultrasonic cool mist diffuser
The small-room option Sukoon ultrasonic diffuser ₹1,899 A 500ml water-based cool-mist diffuser for a single cabin or a small desk. It adds a little humidity to the room, which is the reason it is not the choice for a monsoon-season space. See full specs →Size it on WhatsApp

A note from Sonal

Sales galleries are the easiest place in this whole cluster to spend money badly, because the instinct is to scent the floor plan. Buyers do not experience a floor plan. They stand at the model, sit through a presentation, walk a sample villa and then sit down to talk numbers - four places, usually, and everything between them is transit. Scent those four properly and leave the corridors alone.

The sample villa has a specific problem worth naming. A newly finished house smells of paint, adhesives, sealants and fresh joinery for weeks, and every one of those is a source you remove with time and ventilation rather than cover with fragrance. A buyer walking into solvent under vanilla notices exactly that, and it is the worst possible first impression for a crore-plus purchase.

The limits. Fragrance is an ambience decision, never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or source control, and SOSA makes no claim that scenting affects enquiries, site visits or sales. If you want a gallery and a sample villa sized properly, WhatsApp me on +91 96192 18531. A part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Should one scent run across all sales centres?
One register company-wide keeps the brand coherent and simplifies stock, but every room should be sized and set separately.
Why not copy settings between sites?
Because volumes and ceiling heights differ, so the same setting produces different levels. The smallest room on the smallest site ends up too strong.
What causes drift between sites?
Each team adapts and raises a level it cannot perceive, and nobody experiences two sites on the same day with a fresh nose, so it is invisible internally.
What prevents it?
A written standard with per-room settings, key-locked machines, one named owner, and a monthly check at every site.
Why is the monthly check so important?
Because an empty machine looks identical to a working one and nobody on site notices for weeks. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
