If somebody has told you to buy something premium for a flat off Whitefield Main Road or Sarjapur Road, the useful question is not how much to spend but how much air the bottle has to work in. These are among the newest large-format apartment corridors in Bengaluru, which means the living rooms in them are typically bigger and more open than in the city's older buildings - and that, rather than anything about who lives there, is the actual reason a 130ml at ₹1,249 to ₹1,349 or a duo set fits so often. It also means the opposite is true the moment the gift is meant for one bedroom in the same flat, where the honest answer is a 50ml at ₹749 and the larger bottle is money spent on the wrong room.
How to spend more without over-scenting one room. SOSA Warmth & Bloom duo, ₹1,598 - Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla and Garden Bloom rose-jasmine, two 50ml bottles in one box, or ₹2,598 for the 130ml pair. Two rooms rather than one louder one, which is the honest way to make a reed gift larger.
Quick answers — read this first
Which reed diffuser size suits a Whitefield or Sarjapur apartment? Usually the 130ml at ₹1,249 to ₹1,349, because these corridors are built mostly of newer large-format apartments whose living and dining space is one open room. For a single bedroom or a study in the same flat, a 50ml reed diffuser at ₹749 to ₹849 is the right size.
What makes a premium reed diffuser gift here? Volume rather than decoration. A Warmth & Bloom duo at ₹1,598 gives two 50ml bottles for two rooms, and the 130ml x 2 duo sets at ₹2,498, ₹2,548 and ₹2,598 cover two large open rooms. Nothing is wrapped, boxed or personalised beyond the duo boxes that genuinely exist.
Can it be sent to Whitefield or Sarjapur? Yes. SOSA is based in Pune and sends orders across India, so a gift is sent to the address. There is no SOSA showroom, counter or franchise in Bengaluru, and SOSA publishes nothing about timing, so nothing about timing is claimed on this page.
The short answer
Short answer: Buy for the room volume. Whitefield and Sarjapur are among the newest large-format apartment corridors in Bengaluru, so living rooms there are typically larger and more open, which suits a 130ml at Rs 1,249 to Rs 1,349 or a duo set from Rs 1,498. For one bedroom in the same flat, a 50ml at Rs 749 is still the right bottle.
The pick: A 130ml reed diffuser at ₹1,249 to ₹1,349 for the open living and dining room, or the Warmth & Bloom duo at ₹1,598 when the gift should cover two rooms.
Why: The living rooms in these newer buildings are typically larger and more open than in older ones, and a larger volume of air is the one thing that genuinely makes a bigger bottle the correct bottle.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
What is a premium reed diffuser gift for a flat in Whitefield or Sarjapur?
Start from the room, because in these two corridors the room is unusually predictable. Whitefield and Sarjapur Road hold a great deal of the city's newest large-format apartment building, and newer plans of that kind put the living and dining space into one open room, often with the kitchen opening onto it - so the gift has to work in a single large volume of air rather than in a small sealed one. That is the whole reason a 130ml at ₹1,249 to ₹1,349 is usually right here, and it is worth saying plainly that it has nothing to do with the people who live there: an older compact flat on the same road takes a 50ml at ₹749, and a 130ml bought for a small closed bedroom in the newest tower on the stretch will still be moved into a corridor. Where the budget is genuinely meant to be larger, the honest way to spend it is breadth rather than strength - a Warmth & Bloom duo at ₹1,598 for two rooms, or the 130ml x 2 duo sets at ₹2,498 to ₹2,598 for two large ones. All five scents run about 6 to 10 weeks, with no flame, no socket and nothing to switch off. Do not buy one at all if the flat already runs a diffuser somebody chose themselves, because a second scent for the same room is a comment on a decision rather than a gift. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Premium here means volume, not decoration. A bigger bottle earns its price in a bigger room and nowhere else, and these are corridors of bigger rooms.
Open living and dining room: 130ml from ₹1,249. Two rooms: a duo set from ₹1,498. One bedroom in the same flat: still 50ml from ₹749.
Why room volume, not the address, decides the bottle here
Three things decide whether a larger reed diffuser is the right gift on these two roads, and only one of them is the price. Take them in this order and the answer usually arrives before you have opened a single product page.
1
The first variable
These are newer buildings, so the rooms are bigger
Whitefield and Sarjapur Road grew their apartment supply late and fast, which means a high proportion of the flats on them were designed recently. Recent plans of that size share a shape: one open living and dining room, frequently with the kitchen opening onto it, sometimes with a double-height section or a large balcony line attached. The practical consequence for a fragrance gift is simple - there is more air, and it is all connected.
That is the honest argument for the 130ml at ₹1,249 to ₹1,349 here, and it is worth keeping the argument exactly that narrow. It is a statement about when the buildings went up and how the plans were drawn, not about the households inside them. An older, smaller flat on the same road needs the same 50ml as an older, smaller flat anywhere else.
Tip: Buy for the plan of the flat, not for the name of the road.
2
The second variable
How to spend more without over-scenting one room
The common mistake when a gift budget goes up is to buy strength when what was wanted was scale. There is no larger bottle above the 130ml - SOSA publishes two sizes, 50ml and 130ml, and nothing else - so above ₹1,349 the only honest direction is breadth.
That means the duo sets. Two 50ml bottles in one box: Day & Night duo at ₹1,498, Fresh & Grounded duo at ₹1,548 and Warmth & Bloom duo at ₹1,598, which cover a hall and a bedroom rather than doubling down on the hall. The 130ml x 2 versions at ₹2,498, ₹2,548 and ₹2,598 are for the case where the flat genuinely has two large open spaces - a living and dining room and a separate family room, for instance. Above that, there is nothing to add in reeds, and the range moves into machines that are a different kind of gift altogether.
3
The third variable
When the 50ml is the correct answer on these roads too
Three cases, all of them common. The gift is for a bedroom, a study or a home office rather than for the hall: a 50ml at ₹749 to ₹849, every time, because a 130ml in a closed room that size is the single most frequent mistake in this category. The recipient is receiving their first diffuser: the smaller bottle is the better introduction, noticed on the way past rather than filling a room. Or the flat is one of the older, more compact buildings that sit on the same roads as the newest towers, in which case the address tells you nothing and the floor plan tells you everything.
And one case where the answer is to buy nothing here at all: if the household already keeps a scent going that it chose itself, a different one arriving is awkward rather than generous. Buy a refills for what they already run - ₹2,399 for 300ml, ₹3,499 for 500ml, published for four of the five scents - or buy for a room that is not handled yet.
Tip: A bedroom in a large flat is still a bedroom, and still a 50ml.
The size decision, before the scent decision
50ml or 130ml is a room question, not a budget question
The 50ml from ₹749 suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or anybody receiving their first diffuser. The 130ml from ₹1,249 suits an open-plan living and dining area or a large 3BHK living room, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom - a bigger bottle in the wrong room gets moved into a corridor. All five scents run about 6 to 10 weeks either way.
Ask which room it is for: the open hall, or a bedroom.
Open hall in a newer building: 130ml at Rs 1,249 to Rs 1,349.
Two rooms to cover: a duo set from Rs 1,498, not a second large bottle.
Bedroom, study or a first diffuser: 50ml from Rs 749, whatever the budget.
The SOSA principle
A premium fragrance gift is one that is correctly sized, not one that is loud. The reason a larger bottle works so often in these two corridors is that the buildings are new and the living rooms are open, and that is the only reason worth stating.
Anything else a page might tell you about a neighbourhood is decoration; the floor plan is the fact that changes what you should buy.
The scents that hold a large open room, and the ones to keep for a bedroom
In a large open living and dining room, the five scents behave more like five different characters than five strengths, and the choice is still about how well you know the household. Mountain Breeze at ₹849 in 50ml and ₹1,349 in 130ml is Himalayan pine, sage and cedar - dry, green and the least sweet of the range, which is why it sits well in a large room that is also a dining room. Garden Bloom at ₹799 and ₹1,299 is British rose and night-blooming jasmine, the most obviously gift-like of the five. Fresh Brew at ₹849 and ₹1,349 is Coorg coffee and Kerala vanilla, the strongest opinion in the range and the one to buy only for somebody whose taste you know. Morning Freshness at ₹749 and ₹1,249 is Malabar lemon and mint, the safest choice for a home you have never entered, and Evening Calm at ₹799 and ₹1,299 is lavender and chamomile, which is the name on the bottle and a description of the materials rather than a claim about what it does.
The SOSA gift edit
What premium can honestly mean in this range
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
A single 130ml · ₹1,249 to ₹1,349
The default here: one open living and dining room in a newer building, one large connected volume of air. About 6 to 10 weeks. It fails in a small closed bedroom, on any road, in any building, however much you spent on it.
A 50ml x 2 duo set · ₹1,498 to ₹1,598
Two rooms rather than one louder room, in a box that reads as an occasion. Warmth & Bloom pairs Fresh Brew with Garden Bloom at ₹1,598. It fails when the flat really is one large space and a second small bottle has nowhere useful to go.
A 130ml x 2 duo set · ₹2,498 to ₹2,598
For a flat with two genuinely large open spaces. This is the top of the reed range and there is nothing above it. It is the wrong spend for a compact flat and for any room you have not seen.
A 50ml · ₹749 to ₹849
Not a downgrade: the correct bottle for a bedroom, a study, an entrance or a first diffuser, including inside the largest flat on the road. It fails only in the open hall, where it is under-powered rather than wrong.
When it has to look like an occasion
A duo set is the readymade gift box, without anybody assembling a hamper
Two 50ml reeds in one box: Day & Night pairs Morning Freshness lemon-mint with Evening Calm lavender-chamomile at ₹1,498, Fresh & Grounded pairs lemon-mint with Mountain Breeze pine and cedar at ₹1,548, and Warmth & Bloom pairs Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla with Garden Bloom rose-jasmine at ₹1,598. The 130ml x 2 versions are ₹2,498, ₹2,548 and ₹2,598.
Two things are worth knowing before you spend at the upper end. First, Evening Calm publishes no refill, while Morning Freshness, Garden Bloom, Mountain Breeze and Fresh Brew publish refills at ₹2,399 for 300ml and ₹3,499 for 500ml - so if you want the gift to be continuable, choose one of those four. Second, SOSA encloses no card, ribbon or wrapping with an order and offers no hamper: the duo boxes are the only presentation that exists, which is exactly why they do the work at a housewarming or a client gift. For bulk and corporate gifting, custom label or logo on product is available and everything else is discussed on WhatsApp rather than priced on a page.
Morning Freshness and Evening Calm in one box, two 50ml bottles. The readymade housewarming and client gift, without a hamper in sight.
₹1,498 · 50ml x 2
When the gift is meant to be the big one
SOSA Safar ₹3,999 for the car, SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 for the whole home
Safar is the waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold-diffusion perfume diffuser for a car or a travel bag - ₹3,999 for the SOSA-scent trios and ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios. Vaayu is the machine version of the same idea for a building: waterless cold-air nebulising of undiluted oil, rated for approximately 1000 m3 of connected air, with a Bluetooth app and timer, a 400ml tank, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, DC 12V / 1A 5W mains power and CE, RoHS and SGS marks. Both run waterless nebuliser oil - 100 gm ₹1,049, 300 gm ₹1,849 - and neither takes the ₹299 water-based Hotel Collection bottle. A rating assumes one connected body of air, so a Vaayu suits a large open home or a business and is the wrong gift for a two-bedroom flat with every door closed. It adds a scent to a space; it does not remove one.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
A bigger bottle is not a better gift. It is a bigger room's gift, and the only thing that makes it right on one road rather than another is how the flats there were drawn.

The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA gifting range
Pick the size by the room, then the scent by how little you know about them
Approx 1000 m3 of connected air with a Bluetooth app and timer - a large open home or a business, not a flat
₹11,999
Three different fluids run through this range and none of them is interchangeable. Reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil. The SOSA ultrasonics - Boond ₹899, Sukoon ₹1,899 and Megh ₹5,999 - run the water-basedHotel Collection from ₹299. Vaayu and Safar run waterless nebulising oil, so the ₹299 water-based bottle never goes into either of them. SOSA blends are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations and SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest price sheet
What SOSA publishes, and what SOSA does not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a gifting page should state.
Attars - Adaa ₹379 / ₹669 / ₹1,149, Ameeri ₹385 / ₹679 / ₹1,165, Mastani ₹389 / ₹685 / ₹1,179 and Nawaab ₹399 / ₹699 / ₹1,199 in 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. The Attar Trio is ₹1,055, ₹1,859 or ₹3,189.
Car fragrance - nine scents from ₹449 to ₹549, each in a mild hanging format and a stronger spray at the same price, with 50ml sprays at ₹1,499 and saver combos at ₹899 to ₹949. Safar is ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios.
Candles and wax melts - Bookshop, Cozy Corner, Misty Mornings and Evening Walks at ₹399 for approximately 15 to 18 hours, or ₹699 for a two-candle duo at approximately 30 to 36 hours. Woodenwick candles in jasmine, sandalwood and vanilla ₹999. Bubble Candles ₹499 unscented and ₹599 scented. Wax melts from ₹499, which need a ceramic burner at ₹599 - so they are only a complete gift for somebody who already owns one.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: how long any fragrance will be liked, delivery or dispatch timing, any festive discount, any minimum order quantity or bulk rate, and any claim about what a person will feel on receiving a gift. Those questions go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Not sure which size or which scent? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: who it is for and how well you know them, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented, and what you want to spend. You will get one straight recommendation rather than a catalogue - including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml, or a single bottle rather than the duo set. Corporate and client gifting: bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; quantities, terms and anything corporate are discussed on WhatsApp rather than priced on a page. Bespoke composition, a fragrance composed for you by Sonal, is a real SOSA service and is also discussed there. Where SOSA is: SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. There is no SOSA shop, stockist or counter in any other city, so anything you read here about Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru or anywhere else is about the homes in those cities and not about a local branch.

A note from Sonal
The reed diffuser is the product people are least embarrassed to give and most surprised by afterwards. What they expect is a decorative object. What it actually is, is a small piece of a household that runs for six to ten weeks and then ends, which is a very different thing from an ornament somebody has to keep forever out of politeness.
The reason I recommend it so often for gifting is unromantic: you are buying for a room rather than for a person. Personal fragrance is a taste decision, and when you cannot finish the sentence she usually wears something with..., no amount of money makes the guess better. A room does not have a signature scent it is loyal to. That is why a reed diffuser works for a colleague, a client, a mother-in-law and a friend's new flat - relationships where you may like somebody very much and still have no idea what is on their dressing table.
The one thing I would press on is size, because it is where good intentions go wrong. The 130ml is not the better gift, it is the bigger room's gift. Put it in a small closed bedroom and the person will move it to a corridor within a week. A 50ml at ₹749 in the right room beats a 130ml at ₹1,249 in the wrong one every single time, and if you want to spend more, spend it on the duo set so they get two rooms rather than one very loud one.
Frequently asked questions
What size reed diffuser should I give for a flat in Whitefield or Sarjapur?
Usually the 130ml at Rs 1,249 to Rs 1,349, because these are among the newest large-format apartment corridors in Bengaluru and the living and dining space is typically one open room. For a bedroom, a study or a first diffuser in the same flat, the 50ml at Rs 749 to Rs 849 remains the right size.
What is the most premium reed diffuser gift SOSA publishes?
A duo set of two 130ml bottles at Rs 2,498, Rs 2,548 or Rs 2,598, which covers two large rooms. There is no size above the 130ml and no third bottle format, so above that price the range moves into diffuser machines, which are a different sort of gift entirely.
Can a SOSA reed diffuser be sent to an address in Whitefield or Sarjapur?
Yes. Orders are sent across India from Pune, where SOSA is based, so a gift goes to an address on either road. SOSA publishes nothing at all about timing, charges or speed, so none of that is stated here. There is no SOSA showroom or counter in Bengaluru.
Is a reed diffuser suitable as a corporate gift in these corridors?
Yes, and partly because it is impersonal: it goes into a room rather than onto a person, so it carries no assumption about anybody's taste. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available. Quantities and terms are discussed on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published.
How long does the 130ml last compared with the 50ml?
Both run about 6 to 10 weeks, which is the only duration SOSA publishes. The larger bottle is designed for a larger room rather than for a longer life, so buying the 130ml to get more weeks out of it is the wrong reason to buy it.
Take the next step
Buy for the volume of the room, then for how well you know them
A 130ml from ₹1,249 for the open living and dining rooms these two corridors are mostly built of; a 50ml from ₹749 for a bedroom or a study inside the same flat; a duo set from ₹1,498 when the gift should cover two rooms rather than shout in one. Tell SOSA which room it is on WhatsApp and you will get a single recommendation.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.
