This page could pad itself out and will not. There is exactly one SOSA product at or below three hundred rupees, and it comes with a condition that rules it out for most recipients. If that condition does not apply, the honest answer is that the range starts at three hundred and seventy-nine rupees, and seventy-nine rupees is not a meaningful difference.
Quick answers — read this first
What SOSA products are under Rs 300? One - the 15ml Hotel Collection concentrate at Rs 299. It is water-based and works only in an ultrasonic diffuser, so it is a gift only if the recipient already owns one.

What if they do not own a diffuser? Then nothing under Rs 300 works, and the range effectively starts at Rs 379 with a coconut-soy candle or a 12ml alcohol-free attar.

Is there anything cheaper? No. Nothing in the shop is priced below Rs 299, and the Rs 299 item is a refill concentrate rather than a standalone gift.
The short answer
Short answer: Only one SOSA product sits at or below Rs 300: the 15ml Hotel Collection concentrate at Rs 299. It is water-based and ultrasonic-only, used at three to six drops per tank, so it works as a gift only when the recipient already owns an ultrasonic diffuser - it is not reed diffuser oil and cannot be used in reeds. If they do not own a machine, nothing under Rs 300 applies and the practical entry point is Rs 379, for a coconut-soy candle or a 12ml alcohol-free attar. Nothing in the shop is priced below Rs 299.
The pick: a SOSA return gift - consumable, no shelf space, from ₹299 a head.
Bulk: 10 to 200+ pieces quoted on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Rates are not published here.
Congratulations gifts - at a glanceNo ledger here - nobody owes anybody, so generosity costs them nothingEverybody congratulates for 48 hours, then it stops deadA first only happens once - the second one gets nothingFrom ₹299 · homes, cars, books, awards, goals
A congratulations gift is not settling a debt - nobody owes anybody here, which is why generosity creates no obligation in return. Its job is to mark what somebody did, ideally after the first two days when everybody else has already moved on. Workplace recipients may still fall under gift policies that cap what they can accept, so check before sending. Gifts start at Rs 299, and anything can be checked on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 first.
Straight answer
What can I buy as a congratulations gift under Rs 300?
One thing, with a condition. The 15ml Hotel Collection concentrate at ₹299 is the only SOSA product at or below three hundred rupees - and it is water-based and ultrasonic-only, used at three to six drops per tank. So it works only if they already own an ultrasonic diffuser. It is not reed diffuser oil and must never go into reeds or a nebuliser. If they do not own a machine, nothing here applies and the range starts at ₹379 - a coconut-soy candle or a 12ml alcohol-free attar, both complete objects rather than refills. Nothing exists below ₹299. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
One product, one condition. Otherwise the range starts at Rs 379.
If you want one answer for a mixed guest list: hanging car perfume from ₹449, because almost every adult guest drives and almost nobody has done anything about their car. Bulk quantities quoted on WhatsApp.
from ₹299

There is exactly one thing here, and it has a condition

Most shops answer a question like this by stretching, and stretching at the bottom of a range is where gifting goes wrong most often. So here is the whole truth about this price band. The only SOSA product at or under three hundred rupees is the fifteen-millilitre Hotel Collection concentrate at two hundred and ninety-nine rupees. It is a good product and it is not a general-purpose gift, for a specific technical reason: it is a water-based concentrate designed to be added to an ultrasonic diffuser, three to six drops per tank. On its own it does nothing. Somebody who does not already own an ultrasonic diffuser cannot use it at all, and handing them a bottle that requires equipment they do not have converts a gift into a task - now they have to research a machine, buy one, and only then use what you gave them. That is the opposite of what a gift should do. It is worth being precise about the systems here, because they are frequently confused and the confusion produces wasted money. SOSA has three separate fragrance systems and none of them interchange. Reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil, drawn up rattan by capillary action; that oil belongs only in reeds. The Hotel Collection concentrate is water-based and belongs only in an ultrasonic machine - it is not reed oil and must never be poured into reeds. Nebuliser refills for waterless machines are a third thing again. Putting the wrong liquid into the wrong device does not produce a compromise result, it produces a device that does not work properly, so this matters. So when does the two hundred and ninety-nine rupee bottle make a genuinely good gift? In one situation: the recipient already owns an ultrasonic diffuser, you know it, and you are giving them a new scent for it. That is a real and quite thoughtful gift - a machine somebody already uses daily, with a register they have not tried. The seven available are Quiet Luxury with white tea, bergamot and cedar; White Tea Serenity with white tea, aloe and cedar; Forest Suite with cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves; Old-World Glamour with amber, violet and woods; Tea Garden with jasmine, green tea and white tea; Warm Welcome with citrus, floral and sandalwood; and Lobby Bar with citrus, pepper and amber. These are SOSA's own interpretations, and the shop is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. Larger sizes are nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees for a hundred millilitres and one thousand seven hundred and ninety-nine for three hundred. Everywhere else, the honest advice is to move up by eighty rupees. At three hundred and seventy-nine rupees there are two complete objects that need nothing else. A coconut-soy candle is legible on sight, requires no equipment and no explanation, and is used rather than displayed: lead-free eco wick, phthalate-free, hand-poured in small batches in Pune, fifteen to eighteen hours. Misty Mornings is Nilgiri orchid and sun-ripened nectarine, Bookshop is cedarwood, sage and lemon, Evening Walks is frankincense and tonka, Cozy Corner is spiced pear and golden honey. A twelve-millilitre alcohol-free attar is the other: undiluted perfume oil in a glass roll-on with no alcohol carrier, which does not spray or project - it opens quietly and stays within roughly an arm's length, worn for the wearer rather than announced to a room. Adaa at three hundred and seventy-nine rupees is bergamot, green cardamom, jasmine sambac and white musk. Both of those are whole things. That distinction is the one that actually matters at the bottom of a range, far more than the exact figure: a complete small object always beats a fraction of a larger one, because a fraction announces that it is a portion before the recipient notices anything else. Two more notes on this band. Wax melts at four hundred and seventy-four rupees have the same conditional problem as the two hundred and ninety-nine rupee concentrate - they need a ceramic burner at five hundred and sixty-nine rupees, so give both or neither. And the general rule for congratulations gifting applies here regardless of budget: what makes a small gift work is not the amount but whether it is complete, specific to what the person actually did, and delivered after the first two days, when the congratulations have stopped and it arrives alone. Three or four written sentences naming the achievement cost nothing at all and outperform any amount of additional spending. A three hundred and seventy-nine rupee candle with a real note, arriving in week three, is a better gift than almost anything bought in a hurry at twice the price on day one.

1
One product
₹299, and it needs a machine
The 15ml Hotel Collection concentrate is water-based and made for an ultrasonic diffuser at three to six drops per tank. On its own it does nothing at all.
Tip: Given to somebody without a machine, it converts a gift into a task - research one, buy one, then use this.
2
Three systems, no overlap
Reed oil, ultrasonic concentrate, nebuliser refill
Reed oil belongs only in reeds. The water-based concentrate belongs only in an ultrasonic machine. Nebuliser refills are a third thing again.
3
So move up by ₹80
Where two complete objects live
A coconut-soy candle at ₹379 needs no equipment and no explanation. A 12ml attar at ₹379 is undiluted oil in a glass roll-on.
Tip: A complete small object always beats a fraction of a larger one - and eighty rupees is not a real difference.
The SOSA principle
When the ₹299 bottle is genuinely good: they already own an ultrasonic diffuser, you know it, and you are giving them a register they have not tried.
Wax melts at ₹474 have the same problem - they need a ₹569 ceramic burner, so give both or neither.

A note from Sonal

There is a pattern I noticed years before we sold anything, and it is the reason this section exists. Somebody achieves something that took them years - the flat, the first car bought outright, the manuscript finished at last - and for about forty-eight hours the phone does not stop. Then it stops completely. The achievement took three years; the celebrating took a weekend, and then everybody went back to their own lives, which is not unkind, it is just how attention works.

Which means a gift arriving in week two or three lands in an empty field. That is the single most useful thing on any of these pages and it costs nothing. The second is that a congratulations gift is not repaying anything: nobody owes anybody here, so there is no ledger to balance and no risk of over-gifting into an obligation. You are free to be as generous as the relationship allows. And write the note about what they did, not about how you feel - name the four years, the thing they gave up, the draft they rewrote eleven times.

Two honest things. If somebody has just bought a new car, do not buy them something to cover the smell of it - most new owners like it, it fades on its own, and a fragrance is better introduced a few weeks later in a restrained register. And if somebody has bought a new home, size the gift to the home: our Vaayu is a waterless nebuliser built for spaces of roughly a thousand cubic metres, which is a hotel lobby rather than a three-bedroom flat, and we would rather tell you that than sell you one. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 with what they achieved and what their place is like, and we will say honestly if we think fragrance is the wrong call. A portion of every order supports girl-child education.
