Everything in this cluster comes down to seven registers, one setup and three limits worth knowing before you buy - and the setup matters more than the choice, which is the opposite of how the category is usually sold.
Quick answers — read this first
What are the seven SOSA Hotel Collection fragrances? Ritz-Carlton style (white tea, bergamot, cedar), Westin style (white tea, aloe, cedar), 1 Hotels style (cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves), St. Regis style (amber, violet, woods), Shangri-La style (jasmine, green tea, white tea), Four Seasons style (citrus, floral, sandalwood) and W Hotels style (citrus, pepper, amber). All water-based for ultrasonic diffusers, from Rs 299 for 15ml.
Which should I buy? The Ritz-Carlton style if you want one bottle with the widest range, the St. Regis style for evening presence, the Westin style for a bedroom, the 1 Hotels style if you avoid sweetness, or the pack of seven at Rs 1,799 to decide by trying.
What are the limits worth knowing? Three: these are SOSA's own interpretations rather than the hotels' own fragrances and SOSA is not affiliated with any hotel brand; they are water-based for ultrasonic diffusers and are not for reed diffusers or waterless nebulisers; and fragrance is a finishing step, never a repair for a room that already smells of something.
The short answer
Short answer: seven registers - lobby, spa, forest, suite, tea garden, welcome and lobby bar - across three sizes from Rs 299. The setup matters more than the choice: a unit sized to the room, run continuously at three to six drops, calibrated by somebody walking in. Three limits: SOSA's own interpretations, not affiliated with any hotel; water-based for ultrasonic units only; and never a repair for an existing smell.
The pick: the Day & Night reed duo (₹1,498) as the whole-home start, or single signatures from ₹749.
Shop: SOSA reed diffusers and the Hotel Collection scenting range.
A home's fragrance is a system, not a product: honest air beneath, one scent family expressed room by room, occasions layered on top, and consistency held for years. That is what guests experience as "your home always smells incredible" - and what the household experiences as home.
What is the complete guide to SOSA hotel-inspired diffuser fragrance?
Seven registers, one setup, three limits. The seven, all water-based and from ₹299 for 15ml in the collection: Ritz-Carlton style (white tea, bergamot, cedar) for hushed lobby polish and the widest range; Westin style (white tea, aloe, cedar), the quietest, for bedrooms and spa calm; 1 Hotels style (cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves), dry and green, for anybody avoiding sweetness; St. Regis style (amber, violet, woods), the most present, for evenings and larger rooms; Shangri-La style (jasmine, green tea, white tea), serene and faintly floral; Four Seasons style (citrus, floral, sandalwood), the gracious arrival register; W Hotels style (citrus, pepper, amber), bold and characterful. The setup, which matters more than the choice: a unit sized to the volume - Sukoon (₹1,799) for a room, Megh (₹3,499) for an open plan - run continuously rather than switched on, at three to six drops, placed a metre or two inside the entrance, calibrated by somebody arriving from outside, with filtered water and a weekly rinse. The three limits. These are SOSA's own interpretations of those scent styles, composed in India by an ISIPCA Versailles-trained perfumer; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any hotel named. They are water-based for ultrasonic diffusers - not for reed diffusers, not for waterless nebulisers, not for skin, burners or ingestion, and kept away from children and pets. And fragrance is a finishing step, never a repair. Sizes: 15ml ₹299, 100ml ₹999, 300ml ₹1,799, seven-pack ₹1,799. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
One line: seven registers from Rs 299, a setup that matters more than the choice, and three limits - own interpretations, ultrasonic only, and never a repair for an existing smell.
The whole-home start most households choose: the Day & Night duo - Morning Freshness for the day's bright spaces and Evening Calm for the bedroom - at ₹1,498, flame-free and plug-free. Add a mist diffuser with the Hotel Collection (from ₹299) for hosting hours.

Seven registers, one setup, three honest limits
The range, the setup and the limits.
Why this works
Seven registers, the setup that makes them work, three limits
Start where most households start: the Day & Night duo at ₹1,498 - or a single signature reed from ₹749.
The collection resolves into three directions with variations. Fresh and transparent: the Ritz-Carlton style's white tea, bergamot and cedar, and the Westin style's white tea, aloe and cedar - understated, daytime, and the safest starting point because they are difficult to dislike and forgiving when over-applied. Woody and green: the 1 Hotels style's cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves, dry and grounded, and the correct answer for anybody who avoids sweetness entirely. Warm and present: the St. Regis style's amber, violet and woods, plush and evening-elegant, and the W Hotels style's citrus, pepper and amber, bolder and more characterful. Between them sit the Shangri-La style's jasmine, green tea and white tea, serene and faintly floral, and the Four Seasons style's citrus, floral and sandalwood, the gracious all-rounder for a space people arrive into.
Tip: three directions, seven registers - and most homes end up running two of them, by hour.

The setup outranks the choice
Coverage, continuity, dose, calibration
A well-chosen register from an undersized unit, switched on when somebody comes home, dosed by a resident who adapted to the room hours ago, will not produce the effect at any price - it will read as a room somebody scented. Four things fix that and none of them is a fragrance. Coverage: a unit matched to the volume, because a small machine turned up gives an assertive near field and a dead far end. Continuity: running rather than switched on, since the whole impression depends on there being no event. Dose: three to six drops, at the lower end in bedrooms and hot weather. And calibration: somebody who has not been in the house, walking in cold, reporting the first five seconds - because everybody adapts to their own space within minutes and the level otherwise creeps upward month by month.
3
Three limits, stated plainly
Interpretation, compatibility, and what fragrance cannot do
First: these are SOSA's own compositions interpreting the scent styles those hotels are known for, made in India by an ISIPCA Versailles-trained perfumer. SOSA is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any hotel named; the names describe a style and remain their owners' trademarks. Second: they are water-based for ultrasonic diffusers only. Not for reed diffusers, which use their own reed oil and work by capillary action; not for waterless nebulisers; not for skin, wax burners or ingestion; kept away from children and pets. Third: fragrance is a finishing step and never a repair - musty is a moisture reading, a drain note is usually a floor trap wanting a mug of water, stale is ventilation, and cooking smell is aerosolised oil settling on soft furnishings elsewhere. Fix the source, air the space, then finish it.
Tip: anybody selling you a named hotel's actual fragrance is telling you something untrue.
The SOSA principle
The setup outranks the choice. Get it right and several registers produce the effect; get it wrong and none of them will.
Seven registers across three directions, four setup rules, and three limits worth knowing before the first bottle.

The SOSA whole-home edit
Whichever transformation you are building toward, every SOSA product here is alcohol-free and made in small batches in India. Reeds run flame-free and plug-free in any room; the ultrasonic mist diffusers carry the Hotel Collection through living spaces and hosting hours; and the Vaayu machine holds large open homes on a schedule. One family, room by room - and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Here is the full edit.
The SOSA whole-home edit
One family, every room - essential to luxury, matched to how you live
A note on the two systems: SOSA reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil - no flame, plug or water, safe in any room including nurseries' adjacent spaces at gentle placement. The Hotel Collection is a separate water-based fragrance for ultrasonic (mist) diffusers - not reed oil, and not interchangeable. Fragrance crowns a cared-for home; it does not substitute for ventilation and cleaning. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
Nobody actually buys a diffuser. In ten years of making fragrance I have never once met a customer who wanted a bottle with sticks in it. What they want is the moment someone walks into their home, pauses, and says "wow - it smells incredible in here." They want their children to grow up with a smell that will mean home for the rest of their lives. They want the house to feel finished.
That is why I compose scents the way I do - not as products but as the missing layer of a home: the fresh note at the door that says this house is kept, the warm one in the living room that says you are welcome, the lavender in the bedroom that says the day is over. One family of scents, held for years, becomes something no decor budget can buy: identity.
Everything here is alcohol-free, flame-free where it matters, and made in small batches in India. And a part of every order supports girl-child education - because a home's best fragrance is what it gives back.

Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory signals reach the brain's emotion and memory centres (amygdala, hippocampus) ahead of conscious processing, which is why scents trigger emotional responses and autobiographical memories with unusual speed and durability; a home's ambient scent influences mood, comfort and social judgments at moderate, replicated effect sizes, with gentle intensities outperforming strong ones and no fragrance effect surviving unmanaged odour sources. SOSA reed diffusers are alcohol-free fragrance oil with natural rattan reeds (no flame, electricity or water), from ₹749, lasting roughly 6-10 weeks per fill; refills from ₹2,399. SOSA ultrasonic (mist) diffusers - Boond (300ml, ₹799), Sukoon (500ml, ₹1,799), Megh (6L, ₹3,499) - use a separate water-based Hotel Collection fragrance (from ₹299); this is not reed diffuser oil. SOSA Vaayu is a waterless cold-air machine with Bluetooth app and timer, ~1000m³ coverage, ₹11,999. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. Cruelty-free, vegan, made in India.
