The plain answer before anything else, because you should not have to read three paragraphs to get it. There is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in the SOSA Hotel Collection, and none anywhere else in the SOSA range. Nobody here is going to sell you a white tea and call it sea air. What follows is the more useful half: why almost nobody makes a genuinely aquatic room fragrance, which is a technical reason rather than an oversight, and what to put in the room instead.
Quick answers — read this first
Is there an aquatic scent? No. There is no marine, ozonic or aquatic note in the Hotel Collection and none anywhere in the SOSA range.

Why: marine materials are among the most volatile in perfumery — built to sparkle for twenty minutes on skin. A room scent has to hold for hours, which is the job they do worst.

What to buy instead: the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity — white tea, cooling aloe, cedar, ₹299 for 15ml.
The short answer
Short answer: SOSA does not make an aquatic home fragrance — there is no marine, ozonic or sea-air note in any of the seven Hotel Collection scents. The nearest is the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity (white tea, cooling aloe, soft cedar, ₹299 for 15ml), where the aloe gives a cool, just-showered quality. That is a cooling note, not a marine one.
The pick: the Westin-inspired (₹299) for the cool, after-swim register; the Ritz-Carlton-inspired Quiet Luxury (white tea, bergamot, cedar, ₹299) if you want the brightness an aquatic perfume has at the top; the Shangri-La-inspired Tea Garden (₹299) if you would rather the room read green than clean.
Shop: the Hotel Collection at ₹299 for 15ml, ₹999 for 100ml and ₹1,799 for 300ml at about ₹6 per millilitre; the Pack of 7 at 15ml is ₹1,799 and saves ₹294 against seven singles. The Sukoon is ₹1,899 with three 15ml scents of your choice included. Free shipping above ₹499.
Straight answer
What should an aquatic perfume lover diffuse at home?
1. There is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in the SOSA range. Not in the seven Hotel Collection scents, not in the alcohol-free reed diffusers, not anywhere. That belongs in the first line rather than the last, and it does not change further down the page.

2. And almost no brand has a good one, for a reason worth knowing. The materials that read as marine or ozonic are among the most volatile a perfumer works with — they are built to sparkle at the top of a composition for twenty minutes on skin. A room scent has to hold for hours, which is precisely the job a true aquatic accord does worst.

3. The nearest thing here is the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity, ₹299 for 15ml. White tea, cooling aloe and soft cedar. The aloe is the coolest material in the range and gives that just-showered, after-swim quality — and it is not the same as a marine note, which is why I am saying so rather than implying otherwise.

4. What you are actually chasing is coolness, not water. The impression an aquatic perfume gives is skin-cool, weightless, faintly green. A room can be given that with tea and aloe run low, and it will still be doing it at nine in the evening, which no marine accord would be.

5. Buy 15ml at ₹299 before anything larger. That is roughly ₹20 per millilitre and still runs for weeks at three to six drops per tank — long enough to test whether cool-clean satisfies the thing you came here for. The 300ml 300ml refill at ₹1,799 is about ₹6 and is for the scent that has already won.

A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
TL;DR: there is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in the SOSA range, and that is true of nearly every good home fragrance for a technical reason — marine materials are too volatile to hold a room. The nearest is the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity at ₹299: white tea, cooling aloe, soft cedar.
SOSA Hotel Collection · seven scents
The whole inventory, said plainly
SOSA Hotel Collection · seven scents from ₹299
White tea, bergamot and cedar; white tea, aloe and cedar; cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves; amber, violet and woods; jasmine, green tea and white tea; citrus, soft florals and sandalwood; citrus, pepper and amber. That is the complete list, and there is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in it. Fresh is covered three different ways. Sea air is not covered at all. Water-based, for ultrasonic diffusers, three to six drops per tank, IFRA-standard and phthalate-free, composed in India.

There is no marine note here — and why that is normal rather than a shortfall

I could have written this page the way the category usually writes it, by finding the coolest thing on the shelf and describing it with the word crisp often enough that you filled in the rest. I am not going to. There is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in the SOSA Hotel Collection or anywhere else in the SOSA range, and anybody who wears aquatic perfumes properly would work that out on the first evening. What is more useful is the reason the whole category is thin here — because once you understand it, you stop looking for a bottle that does not exist and start buying the thing that actually produces the feeling you want.

1
THE PLAIN FACT
No marine, ozonic or sea-air note in any of the seven
The complete list is seven scents: white tea, bergamot and cedar; white tea, aloe and cedar; cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves; amber, violet and woods; jasmine, green tea and white tea; citrus, soft florals and sandalwood; citrus, pepper and amber. There is no aquatic note in that list, and none in SOSA's separate alcohol-free reed line eitherMorning Freshness is Malabar lemon, peppermint and eucalyptus from ₹749, which is bright and cooling and emphatically not marine. I set the whole inventory out because the standard method in this category is to name the coolest bottle, borrow three adjectives from a review of a famous aquatic, and let the reader assume.
2
THE PERFUMERY REASON
Marine materials are built to be brief
This is the part worth taking away, and it applies to every brand rather than only this one. The materials that give a composition its marine, ozonic, sea-spray quality are among the most volatile in the cabinet — they belong at the very top, they are designed to flash and lift, and on skin they are doing their best work in the first twenty minutes and are largely finished long before the base has settled. That is a virtue in a perfume, where you want an opening. It is a disqualification in a room, where the whole requirement is to hold a consistent impression for six or eight hours.
Which is why: almost no home fragrance from any brand is genuinely aquatic. What you generally get instead is a citrus-and-white-musk approximation wearing the word — pleasant, and not the thing.
3
THE NEAREST THING
Cooling aloe, and the honest distance between them
So what is left is to find the part of the impression a room can actually keep, and that part is coolness. The Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity at ₹299 — white tea, cooling aloe and soft cedar — is the closest the range comes to that cool, just-showered, after-swim quality, and the aloe is the reason. It is not the same as a marine note. Aloe reads as cool green sap and skin; a marine accord reads as air moving over water. They occupy adjacent ground rather than the same ground, and I would rather set the distance out in those words than sell you a white tea with a photograph of the sea behind it.

The seven scents, ranked by how cool they leave a room

All seven Hotel Collection scents with their real note profiles, ordered by coolness — which is the axis an aquatic wearer is actually buying on, once the marine note is off the table. The fourth column is the one to read. Nothing here is aquatic and nothing is described as though it were; the bottom rows are included so you know precisely which two to avoid.

Ranked by coolness
How cool each of the seven leaves a room, and how close it gets
Scent Notes How cool it reads For somebody who wears aquatics 15ml
Westin-inspired · White Tea Serenity ★ White tea · aloe · cedar Coolest of the seven — the aloe does it, weightless throughout The pick. The closest to that just-showered quality, and not a marine note ₹299
The Ritz-Carlton-inspired · Quiet Luxury White tea · bergamot · cedar Cool with a bright citrus top over a clean cedar floor For the lift an aquatic has at the opening — and it holds far longer ₹299
Shangri-La-inspired · Tea Garden Jasmine · green tea · white tea Cool and leafy at first, warming as jasmine builds through an evening Green rather than cool-clean. Good in a bathroom, less so late ₹299
1 Hotels-inspired · Forest Suite Cedarwood · vetiver · green leaves Cool in the outdoor sense — damp green leaves over dry timber Nearest thing to wet stone in the range, which is not nearest to sea ₹299
Four Seasons-inspired · Warm Welcome Citrus · floral · sandalwood Bright at the top, creamy and persistent underneath The citrus flatters an aquatic; the sandalwood is the opposite of one ₹299
W Hotels-inspired & The St. Regis-inspired Citrus · pepper · amber / amber · violet · woods Peppery over sultry amber, and plush powdery amber Both are warm-weighted. Skip if cool is the whole point ₹299 each

What the range does and does not contain
The SOSA principle
An aquatic accord is built to last twenty minutes. A room scent has to last eight hours.
Those two sentences are the whole reason this category is thin at every brand, and the reason the cool, clean, tea-and-aloe answer is the one that actually works at home.

How to get the cool feeling without a marine note

Start by separating the impression into its parts, because two of the three are free. What an aquatic perfume gives you is coolness, cleanness and space — and only the third of those has to come out of a bottle. Coolness is largely physical: an ultrasonic diffuser produces cool mist from a 2.4MHz plate rather than heat, which is why the same fragrance feels different from a machine than from a candle, and why a room that is ventilated and slightly under-furnished reads cooler than one that is not. Cleanness is housekeeping — air the room before you scent it, never diffuse over a live cooking smell, and rinse the tank between scents so yesterday's fragrance is not sitting under today's. Do those two things and the bottle only has to supply the last part, which is a much easier brief than the one you arrived with.

Then dose low and run long, which matters more in this family than in any other. The Hotel Collection is designed at three to six drops per tank, and the cool clean end of it belongs firmly at three or four: the impression you are after is almost nothing, and almost nothing is difficult to achieve by adding. The dose is per tank rather than per litre — you are scenting the mist, not the water — so a 300ml Boond at ₹899 takes the same three drops as a 500ml Sukoon at ₹1,899. Use the low setting and let it run: the Sukoon gives 16–18 hours per fill on low at 30–50 ml/h against 9–12 hours on high, and long quiet running is what keeps the lightest part of a composition being replenished instead of burning off in the first hour. If your machine has steady, 2H and 4H timers, a 4H run in the morning and another in the evening suits a cool-clean scent better than one heavy afternoon.

And set your expectations against the right comparison rather than against your perfume. A room scent is not trying to be the fragrance you wear; it is trying to be the air that fragrance is heard in, and for an aquatic wearer that is a genuinely happy arrangement — a cool, clean, weightless room is exactly the background a bright volatile perfume needs, because there is nothing in it competing for the same frequencies. Buy the 15ml at ₹299 to test that claim rather than the 300ml at ₹1,799: roughly ₹20 per millilitre against about ₹6, but it still runs for weeks and it costs you nothing to be wrong. If you would rather judge the whole range by nose, the Pack of 7 at 15ml is ₹1,799 against ₹2,093 for seven singles, a saving of ₹294. And if a bathroom has no plug point, SOSA's separate alcohol-free reed diffuser line handles it with its own fragrances — none of which is aquatic either, because nothing in this house is.

Nobody here will sell you a sea breeze in a bottle. What we have is the cool, clean air that a bright perfume is most legible against.

The SOSA edit

In buying order for somebody who wears aquatic perfumes, with the gap stated in the table rather than buried under it. Most people on this page need one bottle at ₹299 and nothing else for the first month, and the final row is the one I would rather you read here than find out after an order arrives.

Not in the range: an aquatic scent No marine, ozonic or sea-air note in the Hotel Collection or the reed line Stated rather than covered over with the coolest available bottle
Honest notes for buyers: the Hotel Collection is a water-based fragrance for ultrasonic diffusers only — it runs in the Sukoon, Boond and Megh, and it does not go in reed diffusers or in the waterless Vaayu and HVAC machines, which take their own undiluted oil. Reed diffusers are a separate alcohol-free line with their own scents. Use 3–6 drops per tank and rinse between scents so each stays true; never substitute raw essential or carrier oils, which clog the 2.4MHz misting plate. Where the Hotel Collection does not contain a note, this guide says so rather than stretching the nearest scent to cover it. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels, composed in India by an ISIPCA Versailles-trained perfumer; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with or endorsed by any hotel brand. Westin-inspired · White Tea Serenity ₹299 / 15ml
Serene white tea, cooling aloe and soft cedar — the spa signature, weightless and restorative. The aloe is the coolest material in the Hotel Collection and the nearest thing the range has to that just-showered, after-swim quality. It is not a marine note and I will not describe it as one: there is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note anywhere in the SOSA range. ₹299 for 15ml, ₹999 for 100ml.

A note from Sonal

Aquatic is the request I most often have to answer with a straight no, and it is also the one where the no is the most interesting part of the conversation. There is no marine, ozonic or aquatic note anywhere in what I make. There is also, if you look honestly across the category, very little of it anywhere else — and that is not a failure of imagination on anyone's part. Those materials are built to be brief. They give a perfume its first twenty minutes and then they are gone, and a room fragrance is judged entirely on what it is still doing at hour six.

So the composition I would put in your rooms is the one I put in mine: white tea, cooling aloe, soft cedar. The aloe is doing the work you came here for — it is the coolest material in the range and it gives that just-showered feeling — and it is not a marine note, which is a sentence I would rather write myself than have a customer discover on their second evening. ₹299 for 15ml. If cool and clean turns out not to be what you meant, you have lost the price of two coffees rather than the price of a mistake.

Everything is composed and made in India, and a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. You get a home that smells like somewhere you chose; a girl gets a classroom. That equation has always felt right to me.

Frequently asked questions

Does SOSA make an aquatic or marine home fragrance?
No. There is no aquatic, marine or ozonic note in any of the seven Hotel Collection scents, and none anywhere else in the SOSA range including the alcohol-free reed diffusers. The nearest is the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity (white tea, cooling aloe, soft cedar, ₹299 for 15ml), where the aloe gives a cool just-showered quality rather than a marine one.
Why are there so few aquatic home fragrances from any brand?
Because the materials that read as marine or ozonic are among the most volatile in perfumery. They are designed to sparkle at the top of a composition for the first twenty minutes on skin, and a room fragrance is judged on what it is still doing hours later — which is the job an aquatic accord does worst.
What should I diffuse if I wear aquatic perfumes?
The Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity at ₹299 for 15ml, run at three or four drops per tank on the low setting. It gives the cool, weightless, clean part of the impression, which is the part a room can actually hold for a whole evening.
Is white tea the same as an aquatic note?
No. White tea is a light, cool, slightly green tea note and an aquatic accord is a marine, ozonic impression of air over water. They can feel related in a room because both read as cool and clean, but they are different materials and this guide will not treat one as the other.
Can I add my aquatic perfume to the diffuser instead?
No. Alcohol-based perfume and raw essential or carrier oils damage the 2.4MHz misting plate. The Hotel Collection is a water-based fragrance made specifically for ultrasonic diffusers at three to six drops per tank, from ₹299 for 15ml, and it does not go into reed diffusers or into the waterless Vaayu.
No marine note — and the honest nearest thing
There is no aquatic note here — but the cool, clean air is ₹299
The Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity is ₹299 for 15ml, ₹999 for 100ml and ₹1,799 for 300ml at about ₹6 per millilitre; the Pack of 7 at 15ml is ₹1,799 and saves ₹294. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
