As a perfumer, white tea is a material I reach for again and again, and it is worth explaining what makes it so quietly powerful.
1. Clean without being sharp. White tea reads as fresh and airy, but without the bite of citrus or the aggression of a synthetic "clean" note. It is freshness with softness - the smell of a room that is spotless rather than scrubbed with cleaner.

I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight.
