Why 15ml at ₹299 comes before 300ml at ₹1,799
The 15ml bottle at ₹299 works out at roughly ₹20 per millilitre, which is poor value as a supply and the best value in the range as an argument-settler. That is the entire case for it. At that size you are not buying fragrance, you are buying certainty — the right to run a scent in your own rooms, at your own hours, beside the perfume you actually wear, before committing to anything. And it is not a token quantity: the Hotel Collection is composed at three to six drops per tank and a 15ml bottle still runs for weeks at that rate, which is long enough for the honest test, which is not the first evening but the tenth. The 100ml at ₹999 is about ₹10 per millilitre and the 300ml 300ml refill at ₹1,799 is about ₹6, a third of the small-bottle rate — genuine value, and the right purchase only once one bottle is clearly emptying ahead of the others. For citrus that tends to happen faster than people expect, because these are the scents most often left running through the whole working day.

This is the page I would hand somebody standing in front of the shelf, because the decision is genuinely simple once it is asked in the right order. Not which of these is best, but which of these is you. Three of my seven have citrus in them and they are not variations on one idea — one is bold with pepper and amber, one is warm with florals and sandalwood, one is bitter and tea-like over cedar. The small size is roughly ₹20 a millilitre and it is the worst value in my range as a supply and the best as a decision — weeks of running, in your own rooms, at your own hours. That usually takes a fortnight to identify and a year to get tired of, which is exactly the order I would want it to happen in.
