We will give you the prices and the arithmetic. The number itself has to come from your building.
Quick answers — read this first
What does it cost per month to scent a luxury spa? We publish every price - hardware from Rs 799 to Rs 11,999, fragrance from Rs 299, reeds from Rs 749 - but not a monthly total, because consumption depends on your settings, hours and zone count.

Why not give an estimate? Because any number would describe our assumptions rather than your building. Two spas of the same size with different settings and hours use very different amounts.

How do I find my own figure? Measure it. Set the building correctly, record the start date and level, and see how far four weeks of normal trading gets you.
The short answer
Short answer: Every price published. No monthly figure, because it depends on your settings, hours and zones.
The pick: the SOSA Safar (₹3,999) as the flagship delivery gift; volume gifts from ₹299; reed diffusers from ₹749; the Vaayu (₹11,999) for your own premises.
Planning volumes? WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 - tell us the customer moment, per-unit band and quantity and we will quote and build the programme.
Customer gifting that compounds - the SOSA method at a glanceStep 1 - gift the moment: delivery day, possession, checkout, milestone purchaseStep 2 - set the per-unit band: ₹299 to ₹3,999 by customer valueStep 3 - brand the gesture: your card, your story, our fragranceStep 4 - pilot small, then scale to 50, 100, 500 unitsWhatsApp the bulk desk for volume pricing
A customer gift works when it survives the drive home - sweets vanish in a day and keychains join a drawer, but a fragrance is used daily in the customer's own car or living room, replaying your brand at every use. The method: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, brand the gesture with your card, pilot and scale. This guide walks the exact play, with real SOSA options at every band.
Straight answer
What is the monthly cost of professionally scenting a luxury spa?
Here is every price we charge, and then an explanation of why we will not print a monthly figure. Hardware: Boond ₹799, Sukoon ₹1,799, Megh ₹3,499 with a 6L tank, Vaayu ₹11,999 waterless with coverage up to 1,000 m² and app and timer control. Reed diffusers ₹749 to ₹849, three to four months from a bottle, refills ₹2,399 for 300ml and ₹3,499 for 500ml. Hotel Collection fragrance ₹299 for 15ml, ₹999 for 100ml, ₹1,799 for 300ml, used at three to six drops per tank. Those are all the numbers we have. What we will not do is multiply them by an invented consumption rate and present the result as your monthly cost. Consumption depends on how many zones you run, at what settings, for how many hours, in what climate, and in rooms of what size - and two spas of identical floor area can differ by a wide margin on all five. Any figure we printed would describe our assumptions rather than your building, and you would plan against it. So instead: the arithmetic is below, the measurement method takes four weeks, and we quote against a zone list on WhatsApp. Hotel Collection from ₹299, SOSA Megh ₹3,499, SOSA Boond ₹799. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Quick answer: every price is published below. The monthly total has to be measured, not guessed.

Here is every price we charge

Every price we charge is in this article, and the monthly figure is not, and it is worth explaining that decision properly rather than treating it as evasion. Start with what is fixed and knowable, because most of the cost of a spa scenting scheme is. Hardware is a one-off purchase. A Boond is Rs 799 and suits a treatment room. A Sukoon is Rs 1,799 and suits a compact reception or a changing area. A Megh is Rs 3,499, has a 6L tank, and suits a substantial reception. A Vaayu is Rs 11,999, is waterless with no tank at all, has coverage up to 1,000 square metres or roughly 10,700 square feet, and has Bluetooth app and timer control; it suits a large open reception or lounge. Reed diffusers are Rs 749 to Rs 849, give three to four months from a bottle, and take refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml. Hotel Collection fragrance for ultrasonic machines is Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, used at three to six drops per tank with a rinse between scents - and never reed oil in a machine, which can damage it. So the capital side of the question is answerable exactly, and it is smaller than most people expect. A well-specified 1,500 square foot spa with a reception and four treatment rooms is a Megh at Rs 3,499 plus four sources at Rs 749 to Rs 849 each, which is a single modest invoice rather than a project budget. Now the part we will not do. We will not take those prices, multiply them by a consumption rate we have invented, and print a monthly figure as though it described your spa. Here is what that number would actually depend on. How many zones you run, which in a spa depends on your door count rather than your floor area. What level each zone is set to - and a treatment room correctly set lying on the bed uses a small fraction of what the same room uses at a level judged from the doorway. How many hours you are open, which ranges from seven to thirteen across the businesses we deal with. Your climate, because a warm room draws a reed bottle faster than an air-conditioned one and may not reach the full four months, while humid air changes how much you need in the first place. And the size and ventilation of each room. Two spas of identical floor area, in the same city, can differ by a wide margin on every one of those. Any figure we printed would be a description of our assumptions, and the honest problem with publishing it is not that it would be wrong; it is that you would plan against it, and then either be surprised or set your building to match our guess rather than to suit your rooms. What we can give you instead is the arithmetic and a way to measure. The arithmetic first. Your monthly consumable cost is the number of reed bottles you get through per year, divided by twelve, plus the amount of machine fragrance you get through per month. Reeds are the easy half: a bottle lasts three to four months, so a spa with six reeds is buying somewhere between eighteen and twenty-four bottle-months of refill per year, and at Rs 2,399 for 300ml or Rs 3,499 for 500ml you can price that exactly once you know how long your bottles actually last - which depends on how warm your rooms are. The machine half is where the honest uncertainty sits, because it depends on tank size, run hours, setting, and how many drops per tank you use. That is why we specify three to six drops rather than one number: it is a real range, and where your building sits inside it is a fact about your building. Now the measurement method, which takes four weeks and gives you a number that is true rather than plausible. Step one: set the building properly first, because measuring a badly set spa gives you the cost of a mistake. One register throughout, varied only by level - working level at reception, very low or nothing in corridors, lowest in treatment rooms set lying on the bed rather than judged from the doorway, and lowest permanently in wet-adjacent spaces. Step two: on day one, write down the date, every zone, its device, its register, its setting, and the fill state of every bottle and tank. Step three: run four weeks of normal trading without adjusting anything, which is the hard part, because everybody who works in a spa adapts to a steady background within about an hour and will want to turn things up. Step four: on day twenty-eight, record what you have used. That is your consumption at your settings in your building, and it is the only number worth planning against. Do it again in the opposite season, because a humid month and a dry one are different. There are three ways to make that number smaller, and all of them improve the result rather than compromising it. The first is level discipline: most spas run higher than they chose to, because adaptation is asymmetric - a level never seems to have grown, only to have gone - so every correction anybody makes is upward. A written baseline with one named owner stops the ratchet, and a spa that stops drifting upward spends less. The second is the seasonal reduction: everything comes down through humid months, because humid air carries fragrance more slowly and clears it less readily, so you need less to achieve the same result. That is a two-minute adjustment per unit that almost nobody performs. The third is not scenting what should not be scented: corridors usually need nothing, since they already receive every room's air at every turnover; steam rooms, saunas and shower interiors are never scented; and back-of-house, laundry, linen stores and staff areas get nothing. A spa that scents only its destinations spends materially less than one that hums everywhere, and reads better. There is a fourth saving worth naming because it is counterintuitive: the correct scheme is cheaper to run than the common mistake. The usual error is one large machine in reception, run hard because the treatment rooms still smell of nothing - which burns more consumable, makes reception uncomfortable, and leaves the rooms exactly as they were, because a machine cannot distribute past a closed door. Five sources running low costs less in consumable than one source running hard, and it is the only arrangement that produces a gradient. Finally, the quotation. We quote against a zone list rather than a floor area, and this is the same honesty applied to a different question: send us how many treatment rooms you have, how many are behind doors that close, which have showers, what your reception is like, whether there is a lounge, and whether your corridor is short or a network. We will price the hardware exactly and tell you the consumable range with its assumptions stated. Volume pricing is quoted against that specification on WhatsApp. We make no therapeutic, medical or wellness claims of any kind, and SOSA ambient fragrance is for the air of a room only - never for skin, never in massage oil, and never added to masks, facial preparations or any treatment product. The registers are SOSA's own interpretations and we are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any hotel brand. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Why this works
What we can and cannot tell you
1 Every hardware and consumable price, published 2 The arithmetic, so you can work it out 3 A method for measuring your own consumption 4 But not a monthly figure, because we would be guessing
The flagship delivery gift: the SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 - a rechargeable waterless car diffuser with three hotel-inspired scents in the box. Per-unit gifts from ₹299; volume pricing on WhatsApp.
01
The capital side is exact
And smaller than most people expect
Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799, Megh Rs 3,499, Vaayu Rs 11,999, reeds Rs 749 to Rs 849. A 1,500 sq ft spa with four rooms is one modest invoice rather than a project budget.
Tip: Fragrance from Rs 299 for 15ml.
02
The monthly figure is not ours to print
It depends on five things we cannot see
Zone count, the setting in each, opening hours, climate, and room size and ventilation. Two spas of identical area in one city differ widely on all five.
03
So measure it in four weeks
And three changes make it smaller
Record every zone, setting and fill state on day one, run four weeks without adjusting, then record what you used. Level discipline, the seasonal reduction and not scenting what should not be scented all reduce it.
Tip: And five sources running low cost less than one running hard.
The SOSA principle
The problem with printing a figure is not that it would be wrong.
It is that you would plan against it.

And here is why we will not print a monthly figure

Every price we charge is here, and the monthly figure is not, and that decision is worth explaining rather than treating as evasion. What is fixed is knowable: Boond Rs 799 for a treatment room, Sukoon Rs 1,799 for a compact reception or changing area, Megh Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank for a substantial reception, Vaayu Rs 11,999 waterless with no tank, coverage to 1,000 m² and app and timer control for a large open reception or lounge. Reeds Rs 749 to Rs 849 with three to four months from a bottle, refills Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml. Hotel Collection Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml, Rs 1,799 for 300ml, at three to six drops per tank with a rinse between scents, and never reed oil in a machine. So the capital side is answerable exactly and is smaller than expected - a 1,500 sq ft spa with a reception and four rooms is a Megh plus four sources, one modest invoice. What we will not do is multiply those by an invented consumption rate and print a monthly total, because that number depends on zone count, the setting in each zone, opening hours, climate and room size and ventilation - and two spas of identical area in one city differ widely on all five. Any figure we printed would describe our assumptions, and the problem is not that it would be wrong but that you would plan against it, or set your building to match our guess rather than your rooms. Instead, measure. Set the building properly first, since measuring a badly set spa gives you the cost of a mistake. On day one record the date, every zone, its device, register, setting and fill state. Run four weeks of normal trading without adjusting anything - the hard part, because everybody adapts within an hour and will want to turn things up. On day twenty-eight record what you used. That is your consumption in your building, and repeating it in the opposite season gives you the other half. Three things make it smaller and all improve the result: level discipline, since adaptation only ratchets upward and a written baseline stops the drift; the seasonal reduction, since humid air needs less to achieve the same thing; and not scenting what should not be scented, since corridors usually need nothing, steam and shower interiors never do, and back-of-house gets nothing. And a fourth, counterintuitive: five sources running low cost less in consumable than one machine run hard to reach rooms it cannot reach. We quote against a zone list rather than a floor area.

Whatever your business gifts, the logic is the same: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, keep the register gentle and crowd-safe, and brand the gesture with your card rather than your logo on the product. Every SOSA fragrance is alcohol-free and made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so every customer gift quietly gives twice. Honest notes for business gifters: customer taste varies, so volume programmes should run gentle, crowd-tested registers - fresh, clean and lightly floral scents are received well across every profile, and space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) avoid the personal-taste risk of skin perfume entirely. Listed prices are per-unit store prices; volume pricing, pilot batches, branded cards and custom hamper builds are quoted on WhatsApp - and signature-scent development for your brand is a consultation with our perfumer, not an off-the-shelf item, so timelines are discussed case by case. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with any hotel brand. Ultrasonic diffusers use the water-based Hotel Collection fragrance; reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil - the two are not interchangeable. All personal fragrances are alcohol-free and IFRA-compliant. WhatsApp bulk desk: +91 96192 18531. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Versailles
A note from Sonal

Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.

I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.

And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the customer-gifting advice applies whatever your business finally buys.

Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer).
