Reed Diffuser or Scent Machine for a 500 Sq Ft Pain Clinic?

A reed diffuser for most of them, a Sukoon for some, and a Vaayu for none. The decision is not about the 500 sq ft on the lease; it is about the shape of the air a patient waits in. Take the consultation cabin off the figure, because it has a door and the house position is that nothing goes inside it. Take the procedure or injection room off, because it is unscented by rule. Take the toilets and the store off. What remains in a typical 500 sq ft pain clinic is 200-320 sq ft of reception and waiting, and the only question is whether that remainder is one seating zone - a desk with the chairs in front of it or beside it - or one open room with chairs at both ends, a window seat and a desk-side seat, say, ten metres apart. If it is one seating zone, a bottle does it: a Mountain Breeze 50ml at ₹849 for wood, beige or warm light, a Morning Freshness 50ml at ₹749 for white, glass or cool light, three or four reeds in, on the staff end of the desk, furthest from the clinical door. A reed reaches a seating zone and then stops, and a clinic where the chairs are all in one place wants exactly that. If it is one open room with two ends, a bottle reaches one end and the other end smells of nothing, and the wrong fix is a second bottle at full strength or six reeds at the desk; reeds are a volume control, never a range control, and why reeds reach reception and nothing else explains the physics. The right fix is a SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899: a 500ml ultrasonic diffuser built for one open room of roughly 270-320 sq ft, sixteen to eighteen hours on low from one fill, with a dial where the bottle has a reed count. At 500 sq ft not one of them applies. There is no second seating zone thirty metres away for it to distribute to. The control a reed count or a Sukoon dial gives is already enough for one room. Its no-water advantage is real but ₹11,999 is a great deal to pay to avoid rinsing a tank. And its lowest intensity step, set for a floor four times the size, fills a 500 sq ft clinic to a level that a patient who walked in slowly can name from a chair at four in the afternoon. We refuse the Vaayu at this size, and if you already own one, keep it for the floor you may one day have. The map does not change with the purchase: the procedure room stays completely unscented, kept so by a closed door and a source placed on the far side of the desk from it; the cabin is the doctor's call, nothing inside, a trace inherited. And the standing sentence: fragrance is an ambience decision like lighting or seating. It does not reduce pain, anxiety or stress, it does not affect outcomes, and the clinician's judgement overrides any plan, including this one. Smaller than this, the 300-400 sq ft clinic is one bottle and no argument; larger, the 750 sq ft clinic is the first place a Vaayu can even be discussed; and the whole ladder is the family pillar, when does a pain management centre need a Vaayu.
