How long does a bottle of fragrance last? A long time, because you use only a few drops per fill. A 15ml bottle covers many fills, and the 300ml bottle lasts months of regular use. It is very economical per room.
What makes the scent last longer? A larger tank runs longer per fill, so the Megh holds a scent for days. In the room, a low, steady mist keeps a soft scent going longest, which is also the most pleasant way to run it.
How long the scent lasts in the room
The scent in the air lasts as long as the diffuser is actively misting that fill, so longevity in the room is really a question of which diffuser and how much water.
| Diffuser | Runtime per fill (and so scent time) |
|---|---|
| Boond (300ml) | Up to about 6 hours. Ideal for a desk or a bedside session. |
| Sukoon (500ml) | 16 to 18 hours. Easily a full night or a long day. |
| Megh (6L) | Up to about 100 hours. Days of continuous scent for a large room. |
An honest tip: for the longest, most pleasant scent in a room, run a low, steady mist rather than full blast. A soft continuous scent reads as luxurious and stretches the fill; a heavy blast scents strongly but empties the tank faster.
How long a bottle lasts
This is the question people are often really asking, worried they will be rebuying fragrance constantly. The honest answer is that they will not, because the dose per fill is tiny.
| Bottle | Price and roughly how long it lasts |
|---|---|
| 15ml | ₹299. Many fills; ideal to try a scent. Best per-use value for sampling. |
| 100ml | ₹999. The value bottle for a scent you have settled on. |
| 300ml | ₹1799. Months of regular use; the lowest cost per ml. |
The worry: "I will burn through fragrance and be rebuying every week." Not with a few drops per fill. Even the small 15ml stretches across many fills, and the 300ml is truly a months-long bottle for a scent you love. It is one of the most economical ways to keep a home scented.
The honest summary: in the room, the scent lasts the run of the fill, chosen by your diffuser. In the cupboard, a bottle lasts many fills, the 300ml for months, because you use only a few drops each time.
Use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance in these diffusers. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are too thick or solvent-heavy, so they can clog the ultrasonic misting plate and damage the unit. Fill with clean, room-temperature water (filtered or RO in hard-water cities to avoid mineral white dust), never hot water. The mist is cool, with no heat, and it scents a room rather than purifying the air.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.
They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.
One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.
