Which position matters most? The entrance. Everybody who lives in a home has adapted to it and perceives very little, so walking in from outside is the only moment anybody experiences it properly.
Which is the best value? The bathrooms. They are small enough for one source to distribute evenly, they sit behind doors no machine can serve, and they are the room visitors actually notice.
Four or five, and here is each one
The number is four or five, and it is genuinely that consistent across 2BHKs of very different sizes, because bottles serve rooms rather than area and every 2BHK has the same rooms. What is worth more than the number is knowing which positions those are and why each earns its place, because that is what tells you what to do first if you are buying gradually. Positions one and two are the bathrooms, and they are the best value available anywhere in home fragrance. Three reasons. A bathroom is a small enclosed volume, so a single passive source produces a genuinely even result rather than a gradient - unlike a large room where one point leaves a far corner empty. It sits behind a closed door, which means no machine placed anywhere else in the flat can serve it, so a bottle is not the cheap option there, it is the only option. And it is the room visitors actually remember, because it is the one place somebody is alone, unhurried and forming a private view of the household. A reed at Rs 749 to Rs 849 runs three to four months there without being touched, cannot be knocked over during an evening, and works when the power is out. Positions three and four are the bedrooms, and the instruction attached to them is counterintuitive: they take the lightest level in the home. People assume the rooms they spend most time in deserve the most, and the opposite is true. Dwell time in a bedroom is long, which means anybody in it has adapted within about an hour and is perceiving almost nothing of whatever is in the air for the rest of the night. So additional material buys nothing for the occupant while continuing to be produced. More importantly, a bedroom is a room somebody cannot leave. Anybody sleeping in a register they did not choose should have a source they can physically move, cap or take out of the room without needing to ask permission, which is a bottle and not a scheduled unit, and certainly not an app-controlled one that puts the off switch in another person's pocket. Position five is just inside the entrance, and it is the highest-value position in the flat by a clear margin. The reason runs through everything we publish: everybody who lives in a home adapts to its background within about an hour and perceives very little of it, which means walking in from outside is the only moment anybody experiences the place properly - and that happens several times a day for the household, not only when guests come. This position should be permanent rather than scheduled, so it works whether or not a cycle ran, whether or not anybody remembered anything, and whether or not the power is on. A reed does it for Rs 749; a Boond at Rs 799 gives a little more presence at a larger entrance. In a flat, place it just inside the door rather than at the threshold, since the corridor outside is shared air you do not control. The optional sixth position is the hall itself. For most 2BHKs another reed finishes the flat, and the whole home is complete for a few thousand rupees with nothing to switch on, nothing to fill and nothing that can drift upward, because there is no setting for an adapted nose to raise. Add a machine only for the one capability a bottle lacks: timing. If you want the hall quieter at three in the afternoon and present at seven in the evening, or you host often enough that building a level before guests arrive matters, then a Sukoon at Rs 1,799 is the right unit, or a Megh at Rs 3,499 with its 6L tank for a larger open living-dining, remembering that a tank is a recurring job. And the position that gets nothing, at any time, from anything: the kitchen. Cooking smell is aerosolised oil that travels and settles into soft furnishings elsewhere in the flat, and the answer is extraction used every single time with whatever door exists closed. Fragrance added over it produces a two-part smell that anybody arriving reads immediately as concealment. Children's rooms get nothing either, and covered balconies cannot hold fragrance at all.
The 2BHK bill of materials
The 2BHK bill of materials. Positions one and two, the bathrooms, and the best value anywhere in home fragrance: a reed diffuser each - Morning Freshness at Rs 749, Garden Bloom at Rs 799, Evening Calm at Rs 799, Fresh Brew at Rs 849, Mountain Breeze at Rs 849 - three to four months per bottle, refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml. Positions three and four, the bedrooms, at the lightest level in the home and from a source the occupant can move, cap or take out of the room without asking anybody: a reed each, never a scheduled or app-controlled unit. Position five, just inside the entrance rather than at the threshold since the corridor is shared air you do not control, and the highest-value position in the flat: a reed, or the SOSA Boond at Rs 799 for a little more presence, permanent rather than scheduled so it works whether or not a cycle ran or the power is on. Optional position six, the hall: another reed if a constant level is fine, which for most 2BHKs it is, or the SOSA Sukoon at Rs 1,799 if you want the level to build before you come home, or the SOSA Megh at Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank for a larger open living-dining, remembering the tank is refilled every few days and rinsed between scents. Not a flat product at any size: the SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999, rated for up to 1,000 m², roughly 10,700 square feet. Fragrance for machines: Hotel Collection at Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, at three to six drops per tank, rinsing between scents; it is not reed diffuser oil and the two are not interchangeable. Zero: the kitchen at any time, where extraction used every single time with whatever door exists closed is the actual answer; the dining area during a meal; children's rooms; and covered balconies, which cannot hold fragrance. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards.

The door-count argument is in the 2BHK chapter, whether a machine is needed is in the whole-home chapter, and the 3BHK version is in the 3BHK count chapter. Everything gathers in the BHK guide.

Versailles
Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.
And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.
Frequently asked questions
Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer). Listed prices are per-unit store prices; volume pricing and branding are quoted on WhatsApp. The Hotel Collection and hotel-inspired scents are SOSA's own interpretations; SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel or perfume house named for comparison.
