Volume beats everything
An undersized unit cannot be fixed with a bottle
Room presence is a coverage problem before it is a fragrance problem. A machine with a small tank and a modest output rate can only put so much material into the air per hour, and in a large or open-plan volume that material dilutes long before it reaches the far wall - producing a perceptible zone near the device and nothing beyond it.
