Reach for a hotel-inspired fragrance whenever you want your home to carry that hushed, five-star feel - when guests are coming over, on a reset day when you are putting the house in order, or simply as your everyday signature scent. These are our own interpretations of the styles famous hotels are known for: inspired by them, not affiliated with them. The point is the feeling, and you can have it any day you like.
Quick answers — read this first
When should I use hotel fragrances? Whenever you want that five-star feel - hosting guests, a reset day, or as your everyday signature. There is no special occasion required; the feeling is the occasion.

Are these the actual hotel scents? No. They are our own perfumer's interpretations of the styles those hotels are known for - inspired by, not affiliated with, the hotels named. We are always honest about that.

Can I use them every day? Absolutely. Many customers make one their everyday home signature. A few drops of water-based fragrance in the tank scents the room cleanly, day after day.
The short answer
Guests over: a lobby-calm scent greets people before they have taken their coats off.
Reset day: a fresh, clean scent to finish a tidy - the home feels renewed.
Everyday signature: one scent your home is known for, run day after day.
Honest note: inspired by famous hotels, not affiliated with them.

When should I use hotel fragrances?
Whenever you want your home to feel like a great hotel - which is to say, any time you like. Three occasions suit them especially well: when guests are coming over and you want that lobby-calm welcome; on a reset day when you have tidied and want the home to feel renewed; and as your everyday signature, the scent your home is simply known for. To be clear and honest, these are our own interpretations of the styles famous hotels are associated with - inspired by them, not affiliated with or endorsed by them. What you are buying is the feeling, at an honest price.

The occasions it suits

Every great hotel taught me the same lesson: scent is the first thing you notice and the last thing you forget. That is the feeling these fragrances are for, and it belongs to more occasions than people expect.

The "hotel feeling"
That hushed, expensive calm you walk into at a good hotel - a scent that says the space is cared-for and considered. It is not one note but a mood: clean, composed, quietly luxurious. Our Hotel Collection bottles that mood in seven styles.

When guests are over. This is the obvious one, and it works. A lobby-calm scent greets people before they have taken off their coats - a Ritz-Carlton-inspired white tea and cedar, or a W Hotels-inspired citrus and amber for a livelier gathering. Start the diffuser 20-30 minutes ahead so the scent settles into a welcome rather than a wall.

On a reset day. You know the feeling after a proper tidy - the home looks renewed and you want it to smell renewed too. A clean, fresh hotel-inspired scent finishes the job. It is the scent equivalent of fresh sheets: the same room, but it feels brand new.

The occasion people underrate most is "no occasion at all". You do not need guests or an event to deserve a home that smells like a five-star lobby. Many of our customers run one scent every single day as their signature - and honestly, that quiet everyday luxury is my favourite way to use them.

As your everyday signature. Pick one scent and let it become the smell of your home - the one visitors associate with you, the one you stop noticing until you have been away and walk back in. A signature scent is one of the most personal, welcoming things a home can have.

Choosing your hotel feeling

Seven styles, three broad moods. Here is how I would steer you, depending on the feeling you are after.

Mood SOSA scent (inspired by) Best for
Clean / spa White Tea Serenity (Westin), Tea Garden (Shangri-La) Reset days, bedrooms
Warm / evening Old-World Glamour (St. Regis), Quiet Luxury (Ritz-Carlton) Hosting, living rooms
Bold / fresh Lobby Bar (W Hotels), Warm Welcome (Four Seasons) Entertaining, entryways

I want to be completely honest about what these are, because it matters to me. They are independent, hotel-inspired interpretations created by SOSA - my own take on the style each hotel is known for. SOSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the hotels named; their names simply describe the scent style. What you are paying for is a trained perfumer's version of that feeling, made water-based to run cleanly in your diffuser, at a fraction of a hotel stay.

How to start: three 15ml bottles at ₹299 each let you live with a few before committing. Find the one your home should be known for, then size up to 100ml or 300ml. A few drops per fill means even the small bottle lasts.

One practical reminder: use SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance only, with filtered water. It is made to mist cleanly through your diffuser - raw perfumes or essential oils would clog the plate. That is how you keep the five-star feeling coming, day after day.

You do not need guests or an occasion to deserve a home that smells like a five-star lobby. Any ordinary day will do.

The SOSA range

SOSA makes three cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers for different rooms, each arriving with three of our water-based Hotel Collection fragrances so you can scent from day one. Prices and headline specs below are live from the SOSA store. Whichever you choose, use only the SOSA water-based fragrance - raw essential or carrier oils can clog the misting plate.

A note from Sonal

I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.

They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.

One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use hotel fragrances at home?
Whenever you want that five-star feel - when guests are coming over, on a reset day after a tidy, or simply as your everyday signature scent. There is no special occasion needed; the feeling itself is the occasion, and you can have it any day.
Are SOSA hotel fragrances the actual hotel scents?
No. They are our own perfumer's interpretations of the styles those hotels are known for - inspired by, not affiliated with or endorsed by, the hotels named. Their names only describe the scent style; what you get is our take on that feeling.
Can I use a hotel fragrance as my everyday home scent?
Absolutely - many customers pick one as their home's signature and run it daily. A few drops of the water-based fragrance in the tank scents the room cleanly, so even the 15ml bottle lasts a long time in everyday use.
Which hotel-inspired scent is best for guests?
For a calm welcome, the Ritz-Carlton-inspired white tea and cedar or the Westin-inspired white tea; for a livelier gathering, the W Hotels-inspired citrus, pepper and amber. Start the diffuser 20-30 minutes before guests arrive so the scent settles.
How do I get the hotel scent to fill my home?
Match the diffuser to the room - Megh for a large living space, Sukoon for a bedroom - use a few drops of water-based fragrance per fill, and run it on low and steady ahead of time. Use SOSA's water-based fragrance only to keep the plate clean.
