We can give you every price we charge. We are not going to invent a monthly consumption figure for a store we have not seen.
Quick answers — read this first
What does it cost monthly to scent a jewellery showroom? Hardware is a one-off from Rs 799 to Rs 11,999 per unit and consumables are recurring, but the monthly figure depends on zone count, trading hours, setting and climate, so it is quoted against a specification.

Why won't you publish a monthly number? Because any number we printed would describe our assumptions rather than a particular store. Consumption depends on how many zones run, at what setting, for how many hours, in what climate.

What are the fixed prices? Reeds Rs 749 to Rs 849 with refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml; Hotel Collection Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml, Rs 1,799 for 300ml; machines Rs 799 to Rs 11,999.
The short answer
Short answer: Fixed prices published; monthly consumption quoted against a specification. Zones, hours, setting and climate decide it.
The pick: the SOSA Safar (₹3,999) as the flagship delivery gift; volume gifts from ₹299; reed diffusers from ₹749; the Vaayu (₹11,999) for your own premises.
Planning volumes? WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 - tell us the customer moment, per-unit band and quantity and we will quote and build the programme.
Customer gifting that compounds - the SOSA method at a glanceStep 1 - gift the moment: delivery day, possession, checkout, milestone purchaseStep 2 - set the per-unit band: ₹299 to ₹3,999 by customer valueStep 3 - brand the gesture: your card, your story, our fragranceStep 4 - pilot small, then scale to 50, 100, 500 unitsWhatsApp the bulk desk for volume pricing
A customer gift works when it survives the drive home - sweets vanish in a day and keychains join a drawer, but a fragrance is used daily in the customer's own car or living room, replaying your brand at every use. The method: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, brand the gesture with your card, pilot and scale. This guide walks the exact play, with real SOSA options at every band.
Straight answer
What is the monthly cost of professionally scenting a jewellery showroom?
Here is every price we charge, and then the number we will not invent. Hardware, one-off: Boond ₹799, Sukoon ₹1,799, Megh ₹3,499 with a 6L tank, Vaayu ₹11,999, waterless with no tank, coverage up to 1,000 m², app and timer control. Reeds ₹749 to ₹849, three to four months from a bottle, refills ₹2,399 for 300ml and ₹3,499 for 500ml. Hotel Collection ₹299 for 15ml, ₹999 for 100ml, ₹1,799 for 300ml, used at three to six drops per tank. Now the honest part: we will not print a monthly consumption figure, because any number we published would describe our assumptions rather than your store. Machine consumption depends on how many zones run, at what setting, for how many trading hours, in what climate - and humid months change it, as does every level adjustment. A figure that ignores those is a marketing number, not a budget. What we will do instead: work it out against your actual specification - zones, hours, settings - and quote volume pricing on WhatsApp. And budget it as a consumable, not a fixture. Hotel Collection from ₹299, SOSA Megh ₹3,499, SOSA Boond ₹799. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Quick answer: all prices published here. The monthly figure is quoted against your specification, not guessed.

What we can price, and the number we will not invent

This deserves a straight answer, so here is what we can price precisely and what we will not pretend to price. Start with the fixed part, which is most of the decision anyway. Hardware is a one-off purchase and the prices do not vary. The Boond is Rs 799 and suits a small room. The Sukoon is Rs 1,799 and suits a compact floor or a large cabin. The Megh is Rs 3,499 and has a 6L tank, which suits a substantial floor - the larger tank matters for refill frequency rather than for reach. The Vaayu is Rs 11,999, is a waterless cold-air machine with no tank at all, covers up to 1,000 square metres or roughly 10,700 square feet, and has Bluetooth app and timer control; it is specified for a large open showroom or for a group that needs several branches held at one written standard. Reeds are Rs 749 to Rs 849 per set, and this is the one consumption figure we can state with confidence: a bottle runs three to four months. Reed refills are Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml. The water-based Hotel Collection, which is what machines take, is Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, used at three to six drops per tank with a rinse between scents - and never reed oil in a machine, which can damage it. Those are all the fixed numbers, and for many stores they are enough to make the decision, because the honest specification for a great many premium jewellery showrooms is one machine for the open trading floor and reeds behind every closed door. That is a modest sum rather than a project. Now the part we will not do. We are not going to publish a monthly consumption figure for a machine, and it is worth explaining why rather than simply declining, because the explanation is useful in itself. Machine consumption depends on at least five things that vary enormously between stores. How many zones are running, which is set by the number of separated rooms rather than by floor area, since a machine cannot cross a closed door - two stores of identical size can run one unit or five. What setting each unit is at, which is decided by how long people stay in each room, because intensity should be set inversely to exposure time and a consultation cabin runs considerably lower than a trading floor. How many hours a day the store trades, which in Indian retail ranges from a short day to eleven or twelve hours plus festival extensions. The climate, because humid air carries fragrance more slowly and clears it less, so the correct setting comes down in humid months and back up when the air dries - which changes consumption several times a year in most cities and three times a year in the widest-swinging ones. And the building itself, since a sealed compact store and a large open floor with a street door opening constantly are not the same problem. Any single monthly figure we printed would be a description of our assumptions about those five variables rather than a description of your store, and a store that budgeted from it would find the real number somewhere else. That is not a useful thing for us to publish, and it is not a number we would want a jeweller to plan against. What we will do instead is work it out against your actual specification. Tell us the zone count - which you can produce yourself in five minutes by walking the store and closing every door behind you - the trading hours, the intended setting for each room, and the city. From that, consumption becomes an arithmetic problem rather than a guess, and volume pricing is quoted on WhatsApp against that specification. There is also a method any store can use to measure it directly, and we would recommend it over any estimate: run the specified setup for four weeks, record what was actually used, and multiply. That gives a number that describes your store, your hours and your climate, and it is the only figure worth budgeting from. Do it in a representative month rather than a festival one, and repeat it once in a humid month, because that is when consumption and setting both change. On the third cost component, labour: it is small and usually absorbed. A machine needs filling, occasional rinsing, resetting after a power cut, and a check that it is running - realistically a few minutes a week, plus a seasonal adjustment that takes two minutes per unit. What matters is not the time but that somebody is named to do it, because hardware nobody owns fails around month four and nobody notices for weeks, since everybody who works in the building has adapted to the background within about an hour of arriving and cannot detect its absence. A store that cannot name that person should specify around it - reeds behind doors, which need nothing but a refill every three to four months, and a machine with no tank on the floor. Two framing points to finish. First, fragrance is a consumable rather than a fixture, and it should sit in the budget as a small recurring line from the outset rather than being discovered in month three. Schemes installed at fit-out and never provisioned for are the ones that quietly die. Second, on proportion: this cost sits alongside lighting, seating and the fit-out, and it is by some distance the cheapest of them. A lighting scheme costs many times a fragrance scheme; a fit-out costs many times a lighting scheme. That does not make the fragrance more important - it is the layer with the smallest audience, since it reaches only the people physically in the room - but it does mean the correct question is rarely whether the business can afford it. It is whether the specification is right, whether the sources are fixed first, and whether somebody will maintain it. And fix those sources before spending anything, because fragrance combines with an existing smell rather than masking it and the combination is worse than either alone: the pantry is never scented at any time, since cooking smell is aerosolised oil and extraction is the answer; washrooms need working extracts; and unserviced air conditioning will be smelled. Staff quarters and utility areas get nothing, and staff should have a physical off switch and never have to justify using it. We make no claim that fragrance affects mood, comfort, dwell time, purchase behaviour or spend. The seven Hotel Collection registers are SOSA's own interpretations - we are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with any hotel brand. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Why this works
The three cost components
1 Hardware - a one-off, from Rs 799 to Rs 11,999 per unit 2 Consumables - recurring, and the part that varies 3 Labour - a few minutes a week, usually absorbed 4 And the variables that make a single monthly figure meaningless
The flagship delivery gift: the SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 - a rechargeable waterless car diffuser with three hotel-inspired scents in the box. Per-unit gifts from ₹299; volume pricing on WhatsApp.
01
What is fixed, and published
Hardware and unit prices do not vary
Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799, Megh Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank, Vaayu Rs 11,999 waterless. Reeds Rs 749 to Rs 849, three to four months a bottle, refills Rs 2,399 and Rs 3,499.
Tip: Hotel Collection Rs 299, Rs 999, Rs 1,799 at three to six drops per tank.
02
What we will not invent
A monthly consumption figure for a store we have not seen
It depends on zone count, the setting in each room, trading hours, the climate, and the building. Any number we printed would describe our assumptions rather than your store.
03
Measure it instead of estimating
Four weeks of actual use beats any published figure
Run the specified setup, record what was used, and multiply - in a representative month, then again in a humid one, since consumption and setting both change then.
Tip: And budget it as a consumable, not a fixture.
The SOSA principle
Any monthly figure we printed would describe our assumptions.
Not your store, your hours or your climate.

Hardware and unit prices are fixed. Monthly consumption is not

Here is what we can price precisely and what we will not pretend to price. Hardware is a one-off and does not vary: SOSA Boond Rs 799 for a small room, SOSA Sukoon Rs 1,799 for a compact floor or large cabin, SOSA Megh Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank for a substantial floor - the tank mattering for refill frequency rather than reach - and SOSA Vaayu Rs 11,999, waterless with no tank, coverage to 1,000 m² or roughly 10,700 sq ft, with app and timer control, for a large open showroom or a group holding branches to one standard. Reeds are Rs 749 to Rs 849, and this is the one consumption figure we can state confidently: a bottle runs three to four months, with refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml. The water-based Hotel Collection is Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, at three to six drops per tank, never reed oil in a machine. For many stores those numbers settle the decision, since the honest specification is often one machine for the floor and reeds behind every door. What we will not do is publish a monthly machine consumption figure, and the reason is worth stating: it depends on how many zones run, which is set by separated rooms rather than area since no machine crosses a closed door; on the setting in each room, which follows how long people stay, because intensity runs inversely to exposure time; on trading hours, which range widely in Indian retail; on climate, since humid air carries fragrance more slowly so the setting comes down in humid months and back up when the air dries; and on the building itself. Any single figure would describe our assumptions rather than your store, and a jeweller budgeting from it would find the real number somewhere else. Instead we work it out against your specification - zone count, which you can produce in five minutes by walking the store closing doors, trading hours, intended settings and city - and quote volume pricing on WhatsApp. Better still, measure it: run the specified setup for four weeks, record actual use and multiply, in a representative month and again in a humid one. Labour is the third component and is small - a few minutes a week plus a two-minute seasonal adjustment per unit - but somebody must be named, because hardware nobody owns fails around month four unnoticed. Two framings: fragrance is a consumable rather than a fixture and belongs in the budget as a small recurring line from the outset; and in proportion it is by far the cheapest of the environmental layers, well below lighting and the fit-out - which does not make it more important, since it reaches only the people in the room, but does mean the real question is whether the specification is right and whether the sources are fixed first. From Rs 299 for 15ml. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards.

The SOSA business gifting edit

Whatever your business gifts, the logic is the same: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, keep the register gentle and crowd-safe, and brand the gesture with your card rather than your logo on the product. Every SOSA fragrance is alcohol-free and made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so every customer gift quietly gives twice. Honest notes for business gifters: customer taste varies, so volume programmes should run gentle, crowd-tested registers - fresh, clean and lightly floral scents are received well across every profile, and space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) avoid the personal-taste risk of skin perfume entirely. Listed prices are per-unit store prices; volume pricing, pilot batches, branded cards and custom hamper builds are quoted on WhatsApp - and signature-scent development for your brand is a consultation with our perfumer, not an off-the-shelf item, so timelines are discussed case by case. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with any hotel brand. Ultrasonic diffusers use the water-based Hotel Collection fragrance; reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil - the two are not interchangeable. All personal fragrances are alcohol-free and IFRA-compliant. WhatsApp bulk desk: +91 96192 18531. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

ISIPCA
Versailles
A note from Sonal

Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.

I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.

And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the customer-gifting advice applies whatever your business finally buys.

Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer).
