Can I have the light without the mist? Yes, on the Sukoon. The LED and the mist are independent, so you can keep the glow going after the water runs out or run just the light for ambience.
Does the Megh have a light? No. The Megh (₹3499) has no LED light and no remote - it is a big-tank humidifier-diffuser with a single mist dial. For lighting, choose the Sukoon.
Light and mist, independently
The feature that makes the Sukoon a real mood-light diffuser, not just a diffuser with a bulb in it, is that the LED and the mist are separate. You are not forced to run water to get light.
In practice that means three modes. Mist plus light for a scented, glowing evening. Light only, once the tank is empty or when you just want ambience without adding humidity. Or mist only, if you want scent but a dark room for sleep. The remote switches between them from across the room, which is why the Sukoon suits a living room where you are on the sofa, not next to the unit.
The Sukoon cycles through seven soft colours or holds on one you like. It is mood lighting - a gentle wash of colour - not a reading lamp. That softness is the point: enough to set a scene, not enough to keep you awake.
The Boond does a smaller version of the same idea: a soft colour night light on a 300ml desk body. It is lovely on a bedside table or a child's shelf, and it switches off with the auto shut-off when the little tank runs dry.
Setting a living-room scene
A living room is where scent and light do their best work together, because it is where you actually sit and relax. The trick is to match the LED colour to the mood of the fragrance rather than fighting it.
Warm evening: hold the LED on a warm amber and run a warm, plush scent - the St. Regis-inspired amber and violet, or the Ritz-Carlton-inspired white tea and cedar. The light and the fragrance both say 'wind down'.
Fresh and calm: a cool blue or green light with a spa-clean scent - the Westin-inspired white tea, or the Shangri-La-inspired tea garden. Good for a bright, serene Sunday.
Entertaining: let the LED cycle gently and run the W Hotels-inspired citrus, pepper and amber for a bit of buzz when friends are over.
These hotel names describe the style of each scent - they are SOSA's own inspired interpretations and we are not affiliated with the hotels. The point is the mood: pick a colour and a scent that agree with each other, and the room feels considered.
A living room usually means a bigger space and longer evenings, so the Sukoon's 500ml tank and 16-18 hour runtime carry the whole night. And the usual rule holds: only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance, with clean room-temperature water - filtered or RO where the water is hard. Raw essential oils clog the misting plate and would cut short the machine setting your scene.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.
They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.
One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.
