Why the hotel feeling begins with scent
I trained as a perfumer, and the thing every great hotel taught me is that scent is the first thing you notice and the last thing you forget. You walk into a beautiful lobby and feel calm and cared-for before your eyes have taken in a single detail. That reaction is your nose, not the decor. Which is wonderful news for anyone who wants the hotel feeling at home, because scent is the cheapest and fastest of all the luxury cues to recreate - you do not need new furniture, just the right fragrance in the air.
This is the whole reason I built the SOSA Hotel Collection - seven water-based diffuser fragrances, each my own interpretation of the scent style a famous hotel is known for. Quiet Luxury is my Ritz-Carlton-inspired white tea, bergamot and cedar, for lobby calm. Old-World Glamour is my St. Regis-inspired amber, violet and woods, for evening elegance. Building the hotel effect, room by room
A great hotel scents different spaces differently, and you can do the same. The lobby and living room want something warm and welcoming - Quiet Luxury or Warm Welcome, run in a Sukoon or, for a big open-plan space, a Megh. The bedroom wants clean and calming for good sleep - White Tea Serenity, my spa-clean Westin-inspired white tea and aloe, in a Sukoon on a timer. A bathroom loves a fresh, spa scent from a small Boond. You do not have to do every room at once; start with the living room, where you and guests spend the most time, and build from there.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.
They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.
One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.
