Should a bathroom scent be strong? No. In a small room, subtle is better. Use fewer reeds so the scent stays fresh and clean rather than overwhelming.
Do sweet or floral scents work in bathrooms? They can feel cloying in a small, humid space. A crisp citrus-mint reads cleaner, which is why I prefer it for bathrooms.
Why citrus-mint wins in a small room
A small bathroom concentrates whatever you put in it. That is a problem for heavy florals and sweet gourmands, which can feel thick and cloying with nowhere to go. A clean citrus-mint does the opposite - it reads bright and airy, and our noses connect that lemon-and-mint character with cleanliness.
Myth: a stronger scent makes a small bathroom smell cleaner. In truth, a strong scent in a tiny room becomes overwhelming fast. Subtle and clean beats loud - use fewer reeds.
Matching scent to a small bathroom
Here is how I think about the SOSA scents for a small bathroom specifically.
Morning Freshness - the pick. Malabar lemon, peppermint, eucalyptus. Clean, zesty, hygienic-reading. This is the one I put in a small bathroom.
Mountain Breeze - the alternative. Green and fresh (pine, sage, cedar). Fresher than a floral, but Morning Freshness reads cleaner for a bathroom specifically.
Evening Calm, Garden Bloom, Fresh Brew - not my first choice here. Lavender, floral and coffee are lovely, but better suited to bedrooms, living rooms and studies than a small bathroom.
Whichever you choose, keep it away from direct shower spray, and in a very steamy room flip the reeds when you want a boost.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, and when I came home to India I kept noticing the same thing on the shelves: lovely bottles, vague labels. Nobody would tell you what the carrier was, or name the notes.
So SOSA reed diffusers use a disclosed CCT coconut-derived carrier, are phthalate-free and IFRA-aligned, name their top, heart and base notes, and are tested in real Indian heat and humidity - not a mild lab climate. Flame-free, heatless, electricity-free, built from real materials.
I would rather you used this guide to buy well than to buy ours by reflex. If another brand discloses its carrier and names its materials, buy it happily. I just think you deserve to know what is scenting your home.
